I know for me that time I have is like therapy. Just the feel of the fabric is relaxing. Yes - they say quilters are crazy and we are "crazy for fabric"! Please read the newsletter thoroughly so that you are aware of everything we have going on. We are a busy group this year and hopefully everyone is having fun. The UFO Weekend in May (Fri, 13th to Sun 15th) will be a great opportunity to work on projects, ask help from your fellow quilters and have some great fellowship. You can set up on Friday night and leave everything until Sunday afternoon and then come and go as you have opportunity. VACANT, 2nd VP Make sure to take the small reminder inside your newsletter and put it someplace you see daily as a reminder of everything coming up. Spring is here, it would be a great time to clean out that sewing room/studio/cave and put all your donations to the side. Our challenge this year is ‘Farmers Market’. You can interpret this theme anyway you like. Pick up information at the meetings Our next quilt show meeting is 25 April, 5:30 pm at Panera. We welcome anyone that wants to attend and help out or just see what is going on. We are still looking for someone that is wiling to take over running the kitchen for Cammie. This job is a lot easier than you may think. If you think you might be interested you can call Cammie at 763-1018 and find out what is involved or come to the meeting on the 25th of April. If anyone has any input or ideas for the show you can contact Tia Kennedy at 828-3901 or email at [email protected].
