Created in 1965, the Domaine des Bans is a 4 star Yelloh! Village with 700 camping spaces situated above the
village of Corcieux, at an altitude of 560 metres.
It’s an ideal spot for discovering Alsace and Lorraine at the very heart of the Vosges Mountains, just 12 Kilometres
from the Valley of the Lakes (Vallée des Lacs) and Gérardmer. The Domaine des Bans is happy to welcome you
onto its 33 hectares of pure tranquillity.
Enjoy the leisure facilities for both children and adults, such as the Water Park with 3 slides and lazy river, the Play
area with its castle and trampolines.

Welcome to the Vosges
The Vosges is a huge natural park where you can find an infinite range of activities all year round for all age groups
and all levels of experience.
Ideal for hiking, horse-riding and mountain biking as well as fishing, the picturesque footpaths are a good way for
you to discover the many treasures, sometimes overlooked, of our vast natural space.
Things to see include the unforgettable routes such as the Lake Route (route des lacs) in the heart of the Vosges
mountains or the Wine Route in Alsace. But you can also enjoy the Cliff-top Route, one of the most beautiful walks
in the “Blue Line of the Vosges” (Ligne bleu des Vosges) covering over 70 Kilometres along the mountain tops.
ACTIVITIES
Water Games
Aquatics Park ELA (Open from 15th of june)
Our Aquatics Park (with lifeguard) is open from 12:00 to 19:00. Its water slides, river rapids and jacuzzi are bound
to seduce the whole family. Access is free of charge but reserved for Domaine clients only. Inflatable mattresses,
rubber rings, balls and any other such items are forbidden as are animals...
The Swimming Pool
For those who love swimming, the swimming pool is open from 10:00 to 19:00. The large pool is 1.80m to 2.40m
deep. Shorts are forbidden.
The small covered pool will attract parents wanting their toddlers to discover the joys of bathing.
The Pond
For fishing (morning only) and simply for your own visual pleasure.
Warning: There is no lifeguard at the pond. Swimming is forbidden.
SPORTS
The co-ordinators organise numerous tournaments.
The following facilities are at your disposal:

• Table Tennis (open from 10:00 to 20:00)
• Beach Volleyball
• Sports field (Basketball, Hand-ball). Football prohibited.
• Bicycle hire
For Children
Different Playgrounds (under the watchful eye of parents) are spread throughout the
Domaine. Children will be delighted by the new “Play area”, with castle, climbing wall, spider’s web.
Trampolines are accessible only to the opening hours of swimming pools. More fun can be had in
the Games room at the Théâtre de la Meule with Pinball machines, Miniature football, Simulators
and Billiards. Every evening in July and August the disco, “l’Engrenage”, is open to youngsters from
19:00 to 23:00.

There are many tracks around Corcieux.
Go-karting
3 kilometres away you can enjoy go-karting and quad biking.
Bowling
Available in Saint-Dié or Gérardmer near the local swimming pool.
Skating Rink
In Gérardmer, a synthetic skating rink is available at the Sports Complex.
Sailing boat
On the lake situated in Gérardmer and Xonrupt-Longemer.

ACTIVITIES
An information point is at your disposal every day at the reception. You will find everything you need to know
about the region, the visits and tours worth making, but also information on our Domain, our shows, supervised
activities and services.
For Children
Our co-ordinators propose a wide choice of activities for children from 5 to 17 years from Monday to Friday for July
and August. Off-season please look at the supervised activities schedule to see which days activities have been
programmed for. Workshops are organised, both indoors and outdoors depending on the weather the number of
children and their ages.
Yelloh! Kids 5-12 years : Different sports tournaments, races, practical workshops, etc. (meeting point is the Theatre or Swimming pool depending on the activities.)
Yelloh! Teens 13-17 years : Different sports tournaments, organisation of shows, etc. (meeting point is the Swimming pool).
For the Family
Our team proposes activities or shows at the Théâtre de la Meule:

• Cabaret (with the participation of the youngsters)
• Lotto, etc

SERVICES
Reception Desk
For anything concerning your arrival or departure as well as any other information you may require, the personnel
at the reception desk will be happy to help you. The desk is manned from 8:00 to 20:00 in July and August and
from 9:00 to 12:00 and 14:00 to 18:00 the remainder of the year.
If you have a problem or discover something is not working correctly, do not hesitate to let us know and we will do
everything we can to find a solution as quickly as possible.
Services include:
• Getting a weather forecast
• Hiring sheets (12€/pair) / sales of disposable sheets (8€/pair)
• Borrowing an iron or a vacuum cleaner from the reception desk (on presentation of
your ID, passport, etc).
• Lost property
Bar - Theatre
The Bar de la Meule is open from 9:00 to 24:00 and provides you with a pleasant environment to have a drink and
watch the main events on the giant screen of the Theatre. This is also where you can watch all the shows and
entertainment.
“La Fringale” Snack Bar
You can get a take-away meal at any time of day. The opening hours are displayed at the entrance of the
«Fringale» and vary seasonally. There is also a wide choice of ice cream and drinks for your refreshment.
Launderette
There is a new launderette, which contains 5 washing machines and 2 tumble-driers, by the tennis court at the exit
of the campsite near the reception. To use them, you just need money.

“Mini-Market ” Grocery Shop
Here you will find all the products you need (fresh produce, etc.). Local produce will enable you to discover our
gastronomic specialities. A newsagent is included with international titles. The opening hours are displayed at the
entrance of the «Mini-Market» and vary seasonally.
Mail
A mail box for posting your letters is next to the reception desk.
Mail, telephone messages and faxes are placed in the alphabetically arranged pigeonholes at reception.
At the reception you can send and receive faxes and make photocopies.

Internet - Telephones
You will find 3 card-only Telephone Booths in the car park by the entrance to the Domaine. An Internet terminal is
available next to the reception desk. Free Wifi access next to the pool.

Animals
Pet animals are allowed at the Domaine but must be vaccinated, tagged and kept on a lead. A charge of 35€/animal
per week is payable. Please do not forget to clean up after them.
No animals are allowed in the toilet blocks. Dogs and other pets should never be allowed to roam free. They must
not be left at the camp, even locked in, during their masters’ absence, the latter being responsible under civil law.
Visitors
Visitors may be admitted to the Domaine under the responsibility of the campers who receive them. If the visit is
for longer than two hours, the hosts will be obliged to pay a daily charge per visitor (camper rate). Visitors’ vehicles
are not allowed in the Domaine.
BARBECUES
Barbecues are allowed in the Domaine, but forbidden on the wooden terraces.
For safety reasons, please do not leave them unattended.
Library
At the library you can borrow books for every age group. There is a good
choice of foreign language books.
For Babies
You can hire a Baby Kit comprising of a Bed, Chair and Bath for the cost
of 28€ per week (reservation in advance only).
The toilet blocks by «Le Sentier» are equipped with heated baby area with bath and changing table.
WELLNESS AREA
Our Wellness Area is open every day of the week (by appointment)
and offers different esthetic services (facial and body care, nail, waxing,
massages).
Security - Noise
Campers are asked to avoid any kind of noise and discussions that could disturb their neighbours. Volumes on radios,
CD players and so on should be adjusted accordingly. There should be total silence between 23:00 and 7:00. A security service circulates around the camp site at night time. Security guards are there to ensure all is calm and quiet. If
you are bothered by noise, please let us know. In the case of an emergency an alarm bell is situated at the reception
desk and fire extinguishers can be found in each toilet block.
Theft
Management is only responsible for any objects deposited at the office. Please advise the manager immediately
should you ever see a suspicious looking individual. While security is in place, users are asked to take the usual
precautions for the security of their belongings.
Access - Circulation
Inside the campsite, vehicles must not go over a maximum speed of 10 km/h. Only vehicles belonging to campers are
allowed to circulate within the campsite. Circulation is prohibited between 22:30 and 7:00. The gate at the reception
is closed at 22.30. One vehicle only per camping space is allowed. Parking is prohibited elsewhere in the campsite
including on spaces strictly reserved for those who have rented a pitch or an accommodation.
An access card will be given to you on arrival (deposit 20€), and this will enable you access with your vehicle to the
Domaine. This card is for your personal use and should never be used by another person for risk of blocking the
system and preventing you from re-entering the Domaine.
Arrival - Departure
If you have rented a pitch, arrivals take place after 13:00 and departures before 11:00.
If you have rented an accommodation, please come to the reception desk at least 48 hours before your departure so
we may fix a time between 8:00 and 10:00 for the inventory (just before you leave). Please do not touch the water
heater as it is pre-set to be in good working order.
Rubbish
Collection points for rubbish can be found at each automatic exit from the Domaine. Please sort your rubbish,
separating any glass which should be disposed of in the green-coloured glass disposal bins
