JBQ BEE REGISTRATION
RULES
July 23rd, 2016 – Glad Tidings Church - Omaha
1. Quizzer(s) will compete in their appropriate age division.
2. Quizzer(s) will choose which point value category they will participate in.
(Example: 10 point value or 20 non point value, etc.) Quizzers can participate in
more than one category.
3. Quizzer will be given the question to the break-in point (bold letters).
4. Quizzer will have to complete the question and give answer within 30 seconds;
quotation questions will have to be answered word for word.
5. Essence answers will be approved by the panel of judges if questionable.
6. Quizzer may request one judges’ ruling with help of adult; give 30 second
reason for ruling; panel of judges will rule and decision is final.
7. Quizzer will only receive one incorrect judgment before being disqualified.
8. If, at the end of the competition, there is no definite winner, the remaining
quizzers will compete on the buzzers to win. The best two out of three
questions will determine the winner.
9. Senior High and adults will have the option to use the old NIV version for
quotation questions.

JBQ National Guidelines will be followed regarding answering
questions.
