Everyone looks for ways to improve their business and make it more profitable. But a chain is never
stronger than its weakest link. The core focus for HTC is to keep developing the ultimate flooring system.
We believe in a system where all parts are made to match, all the way from the tools to the grinder and
finally, the dust extractor.
How to take control
Adapts to your needs and habits
HTC 80 iD is a dust extractor that will improve your efficiency
with up to 15% compared to a traditional solution. The HTC
80 iD is equipped with a high performance integrated
pre-separator that removes up to 95% of the dust and
increase filter lifetime.
The HTC 80 iD can be used in various ways depending on
your setup. For maximum efficiency and output we
recommend a remote controlled grinder.
The bypass valve within the HTC 80 iD reduces the non-productive work time since there is no need to stop working to
change the dust bag. This results in high production and
reduced labor costs.
If you use a traditional grinder without remote control you can
still benefit from the double Longopac® or make use of the
optional remote control to turn on & off the dust extractor
from a distance.

Mohs Scale - Choose the right tool with HTC's hardness tester
By means of a simple scratch test, you determine the hardness of the floor
or the concrete in relation to the Mohs Scale. Start with the lowest numbers
on the scratch sticks and then work your way up until you scratch the floor.
When you have obtained the value from the scratch stick, use the SMHX
table above to find the recommended HTC tool series to begin.

Equipment sales will require prepayment prior to shipment unless other arrangements have been made
Any tooling or parts order placed by 5:00 p.m. EST or any equipment order placed by 2:00 p.m. EST will go
out that day, providing it is available in stock and account is in good standing
Ask our sales and technical staff or our shipping department if overnight delivery is available to your address

All shipments will be F.O.B. Knoxville or shipping point unless otherwise stated

Shipping charges are based upon package weight, size, destination, handling and insurance. Customers who
decline insurance are responsible for all claims for damage.
Special freight requests, including but not limited to expedited freight, lift gates, inside delivery etc. are the
responsibility of the customer and will be invoiced accordingly
HTC Service Department, Parts and Inventory
HTC has a very well trained service department and sales and technical staff who also have an extensive knowledge
of how to service our equipment. As the manufacturer, we best understand our equipment, and we have parts in
stock. We can also send you parts and help you to service your own equipment with a phone conversation if you
don’t have time to send your machine to us. We also have authorized services centers throughout the country
that has been trained on how to properly service our equipment.
Finance/Leasing
Lease financing is available through outside companies who are not affiliated with HTC. Call a member of our
sales and technical support staff for a list of companies who can help you with lease financing.

HTC Return Policy
Damaged Shipments
All shipments should be inspected immediately upon receipt before you sign for the order. Do not accept any
shipment showing external damage unless the freight carrier makes notation on your and their copy of the freight
bill. All orders are carefully packaged and inspected before shipment. All claims for merchandise damaged in transit must be filed with the delivering carrier. Any concealed damage must be reported to HTC within seven (7) days
of receipt.
Shipping Errors, Shortages and Returns
• Open and inspect all packages upon receipt. Shortage claims will only be honored when reported within 24
hours of receipt
• If an item is shipped to you in error, we will issue a call tag and have the item picked up at HTC’s expense.
The correct item will be sent to you using the same shipment method as original order
• Contact a member of the sales and technical staff to determine a solution as quickly as possible.
• HTC accepts returns within 30 days of shipment date of any unused items
• Please contact your Sales representative to obtain a return authorization number or no credit will be
issued
• Attach the return authorization number along with a copy of the original invoice to the item to be returned and send it to HTC
• All items will be subject to inspection before a credit will be granted. In some cases, the item may
need to be sent to the manufacturer, in the rare case HTC is not the manufacturer. The manufacturer
may issue credit, or repair or replace the item in question
• A 15% restocking fee will be deducted from the credit for any non-defective unused returns
• Returned items, including items under warranty, must be sent at the customer’s expense
• If you are returning an item for repair that will be returned to you, no authorization number is needed, but you
will need to call and speak with our technicians to schedule an appointment before returning the item. Please
include your company name, address, telephone number, and a statement explaining your problem with your
shipment
Non-stocking, special order items are not returnable. Machines or other equipment with aftermarket alterations
not preapproved by HTC are not returnable.

HTC Warranty
HTC’s machines have had constant quality improvements reducing the frequency of required service. To ensure quality operation of your machine we provide a
2 year extended machine warranty. To receive the extended warranty you need to follow the service plan, and have the service performed by a HTC authorized
servicing facility. Service is only needed every 500 hours, or every 12 months.
Definition
The word “Goods” shall mean a grinding machine bought and delivered by
HTC or by HTC appointed distributor.
Liability for defects
1. HTC, Inc. (HTC) shall by repair or replacement, remedy any defect in the
Goods resulting from faulty design, materials or workmanship. HTC is not liable for defects arising out of materials provided by or a design stipulated or
specified by the purchaser.
2. HTC:s liability is limited to defects, according to paragraph. 1, which appear
within a period of two years from the date of delivery of the Goods with the
following model designation: HTC 80 iD, HTC 270, 400 VS, 420 VS, 500, 650
HDX, 650 RX, 800 Classic 800 HDX, 800 RX or 950 RX. For other Goods HTC’s
liability is limited to defects which appear within a period of one year from the
date of delivery of the Goods. The warranty is only applicable on Goods delivered by HTC or by HTC appointed distributor.
3. If the Goods should cease to be in working order, the Goods will be repaired
or, according to HTC estimation, the Goods will be exchanged. The spare
parts are either new or equivalent with new or repaired.
4. Defective parts which are replaced as stated above shall be placed at HTC’s
disposal and shall become HTC’s property.
Complaint
5. Repair shall be carried out given that the purchaser at his own expense
return the Goods to HTC’s or by HTC appointed distributor’s repair shop. A
complaint shall be made within the warranty period. Valid warranty certificate
or other paper that confirm the date of the delivery of the Goods, shall be
presented at the time for the complaint.
Limitation
6. HTC shall not be liable for any defects that are caused by circumstances
that appear after the Goods have been delivered and whilst it is in the possession of the purchaser. The Warranty is void if the purchaser hasn’t followed
the maintenance plan stipulated by the warranty card. If a maintenance plan is
not stipulated by the warranty card the warranty is void if the time the Goods
have been used exceeds 300 hours. Furthermore the warranty doesn’t include
normal wear and tear or deterioration.
7. HTC’s liability does not cover defects which are caused by faulty maintenance or faulty repair by the purchaser, or by alterations carried out without
HTC’s consent in writing. The same applies to any alterations of the machines
or service performed by another party than HTC, HTC appointed distributor,
or of HTC approved service organization. The warranty is not applicable on a
defect that arises due to the use of equipment or grinding tools that can’t be
connected or used without modification to HTC’s original products.
8. Previous mentioned measures in paragraph. 7 results in the warranty from
HTC ceasing to exist.
9. At complaint when no defect is found for which HTC is liable, HTC shall be
entitled to compensation for the labor and costs which HTC has incurred as
a result of the notice.
10. If HTC fails to fulfil its obligation within a reasonable time, the purchaser
may by written notice require HTC to do so within a final time. If HTC fails to

10. (continued) fulfil its obligation within that time limit, the purchaser may
demand a reduction f the purchase price in proportion to the reduced value of
the machine, provided that under no circumstances such reduction exceeds
15% of the purchase price. If the defect must be considered substantial, the
purchaser may instead choose to terminate the contract by written notice to
HTC. In case of termination the purchaser shall be entitled to compensation
for the loss he has suffered. The compensation shall, however, not exceed
15% of the purchase price.
11. Save as stipulated in clauses 1-5 HTC shall not be liable for defects. This
applies to any loss the defect may cause including cost of transportation, loss
of production, loss of profit and any other economic cost. If HTC has been
guilty of gross negligence, the purchaser shall be entitled to compensation for
the loss he has suffered. The total compensation shall, however not exceed
the sales values on the machine.
12. Furthermore HTC shall not be liable for delay caused by circumstances
beyond the control of HTC.

13. The warranty certificate shall be considered as valid only if it is dated by
HTC or by HTC appointed distributor and complete with the machine’s type
- and serial number.
