anvertraute, war eine Lampe mit Batterie schon

Tragweite wir alle kaum überblicken können. Uns sind
bei allem technischen Fortschritt Sie, der Mensch,

Von der Bikeschmiede zum internationalen Produzenten
Dabei fing alles klein an, als Konrad Irlbacher Senior, ein leidenschaftlicher Skirennläufer, 1970 in Rosenheim den IKO
Sportfachhandel gründete. 1982 begann sein Sohn Konrad mit dem Verkauf von Rädern und Ersatzteilen, aus dem sich
bald eine leistungsfähige Technikschmiede entwickeln sollte. Als Händler und Importeur bekannter Marken, vor allem
aus Italien, sammelte das junge Unternehmen unter der Leitung von Konrad Irlbacher Junior eine Menge Know-how.
Unter dem Markennamen corratec wurden 1990 die ersten eigenen Bikes bis heute produziert.

From humble beginnings, Konrad Irlbacher senior – a passionate ski racer – founded a sporting goods retail shop (IKO)
in Rosenheim, Germany, in 1970. In 1982, his son Konrad started to sell bikes and parts and thus fostered an efficient
company with expertise. As a dealer and importer of well-known brands, especially from Italy, the still young company accumulated technical know-how under the lead of Konrad Irlbacher jr. In 1990, bicycles under the name corratec
were produced for the very first time – until this day.

Ever since corratec was established as a brand, we stayed committed to our
location in Raubling, Germany – and have been living this passion for two generations. Engineering, assembly, research and development have ever since
been located here in our headquarters at the foot of the Alps. In this beautiful
place we truly live our values: tradition, innovation, quality, athleticism and
passion. Before going into production, all of our bikes are personally tested
on the roads and trails by Konrad Irlbacher, CEO, and Luca Burzio, Head of
