Under the motto THE DAY WILL COME, the 6th Triennial of Photography Hamburg will look at the future of photography. “I believe that in 100 years, the word ‘photography’ will be totally obsolete. ‘Photography’ will only be a section in museums, cared by experts commissioned to preserve memory and the beauty of old vintage prints. There will only be ‘images’ flowing everywhere. Images will be a complete part of our language, with a pictographic vocabulary like hieroglyphs.” Catherine Balet 2015 Exhibitions, p. 5 Triennial Shows, p. 5 Special Shows, p. 10 Satellite Shows, p. 13 Events, p. 21 Service Informations, p. 28 General Map of Event Locations, p. 30 Supporters and Sponsors, p. 33 Exhibitions Triennial Shows 01 Bucerius Kunst Forum THE DAY WILL COME WHEN WATER MATTERS 13 June – 20 Sept 2015 Rathausmarkt 2, 20095 Hamburg T +49 (0)40 36 09 96 0 www.buceriuskunstforum.de daily 11 am – 7 pm, Thur 11 am – 9 pm WHEN WATER MATTERS looks at how the physical and optical qualities of water have been treated in photography and painting since 1800 – including its destructive power.
