from the development to the production
of GFRP Leafsprings. A Composite leafspring design implements a weight saving
potential of over 50% when compared to
steel equivalents. Benteler-SGL presents
itself as a partner for the full system development of transverse leafsprings, integrated into suspension modules, for passenger cars and light commercial vehicles, as
well as longitudinal leafspring applications
for pick up trucks.

Tanks from CFRP materials, a weight
saving of 50 % can be achieved.
