// Profile // Roland Hackl
Roland discovered the world of songwriting and music
production in the mid 90ies. Being a performing artist in a
number of pop outfits, running an independent techno label and
teaming up with creative people from all around the world
gradually shaped his distinctive approach to create music.
Constantly reflecting cutting edge techniques in sound creation
and music production he is passionate about all kinds of sonic
explorations when it comes to find that perfect vibe for his
music be it film scoring, remixing, corporate audio or artistrelated productions. Being open-minded about almost all musical genres his ultimate goal is to
create music that feels fresh and unique, making it something more than the sum of it’s
ingredients.
His career highlights include writing and producing the musical score of the Oscar™ nominated
short film ‘Das Rad’/’Rocks’ and remix production for the track 'You Sure Look Good To Me'
taken from Bill Evans'/Les McCann's Grammy™ - nominated album 'Soul Insider'.
