GRAND CHIME CLOCK
I. DESCRIPTION
Thank you for purchasing the Grand Chime Clock. An elegant music box in a classic mantelpiece silhouette, our Grand Chime Clock is the perfect
collector's piece. The unit plays 15 Christmas carols and 15 year-round classic on the hour or continuously. Adapter included and battery operated (optional,
batteries not include). This product is not a toy and is not intended for use by children.
CLOCK BATTERY INSTALLATION
1. Remove the battery compartment cover at the back of the unit. (See Fig. I).
2. Insert the AA-size battery (included in the packaging) into the compartment making sure to align
the "+" and "-" as indicated in the bottom of the battery compartment.
II. OPERATION
1. Place the unit on any flat surface.
2. Turn the time adjusting knob to adjust to the correct time. (See Fig. II).
3. Open the front window door and gently remove the cardboard (See Fig. III).
4. Insert the adapter plug into the unit jack at the rear of the unit. Plug the
adapter into a nearby working outlet. The adapter is intended to be

correctly oriented in a vertical or floor mount position.
5. Your Grand Chime Clock can also work with batteries (not included).

Always purchase the correct size and grade of battery most suitable for the intended use.

Clean the battery contacts and also those of the device prior to battery installation.
Ensure the batteries are installed correctly with regards to polarity (+ and - ).
Remove batteries from equipment, which is not to be used for an extended period of time.
Remove used batteries promptly.
6. Turn the unit on using the ON-OFF switch from the back of the unit.
Note: The adapter supplies power to the musical module only and will
not supply power to clock movement.
7. Turn the VOLUME dial to adjust the volume of the music. Note: When

the volume dial is at the LO setting, no music can be heard.
8. Use the Christmas Carols/Year-Round Songs switch to select the type
of music you wish to play.
9. Move the power switch to either of the following settings:
"CLOCK" - When the minute hand is on the 12 (top of the hour), it will
randomly play one song and then stop. The unit will not play the next
song until the minute hand is back on 12.
"ON" - The music will play continuously.

III. TROUBLESHOOTING
Your Grand Chime Clock has been designed to give many seasons of trouble-free operation. In the event that a problem does occur, please refer to the
following chart for suggested solutions.

I.DESCRIPCIÓN
Gracias por comprar el GRAND CHIME CLOCK. Esta preciosa caja de música en silueta para ser buena decoración por la repisa de la chimenea; nuestro
GRAND CHIME CLOCK es la pieza perfecta para coleccionistas. Toca 15 villancicos y 15 clásicos de siempre por cada hora entera o continuamente. Incluye
un adaptador y funciona además por baterías (opcional, no incluido). Este producto no es un juguete y no deberá ser usado por niños.
COMO INTRODUCIR LAS PILAS EN EL RELOJ
1. Quite la tapa del compartimento de las baterías en la parte posterior de la unidad. (Ver fig. I)
2. Inserta la batería del tipo AA (incluido en la caja regalo) en el compartimento de las mismas, asegurándose que esté bien instalada con el polo “-“y el
polo”+” como se muestra dentro del compartimento de las baterías.
II. FUNCIONAMIENTO
1. Ponga la unidad en cualquier superficie plana.
2. Gire el interruptor del tiempo para ajustar la hora correcta. (Ver fig. II).
3. Abre la ventana en la frente de la unidad y después firmemente saque la protección que esta dentro (Ver fig. III).
4. Introduzca la clavija del adaptador en la toma de corriente al envés de la unidad. Enchufe el adaptador a una toma de corriente eléctrica cercana. El
adaptador deberá ser bien orientado en la toma de corriente, en posición vertical o bien fijado al suelo.
5. Su GRAND CHIME CLOCK también puede ser alimentado por baterías (no incluido). Introduce cuatro baterías del tipo C en el compartimento de las
mismas, que alimenta la unidad con electricidad. Asegúrese que las baterías estén bien instaladas con el polo “-“y el polo”+” como se muestra dentro del
compartimento de las baterías (Ver fig. IV).
No deberá ser usado el adaptador y las baterías a la vez!
6. Conecta la unidad girando el interruptor de ON/OFF que se encuentra en la parte posterior de la unidad. TOME NOTA: El adaptador solo alimenta al
módulo musical (no al módulo reloj).
7. Utiliza el control del VOLUMEN para ajustar el nivel del sonido. TOME NOTA: Cuando el control del VOLUMEN se encontrará en LO, no se puede
escuchar a la música.
8. Usa el interruptor de CHRISTMAS CAROLS/YEAR-ROUND-SONGS para seleccionar su estilo preferido de música.
9. Gire el interruptor de corriente hacía una de las siguientes regulaciones:
CLOCK – Cuando la aguja de los minutos esta en la 12 (a la hora entera), la unidad tocará una canción al azar y después parará. La unidad no tocará la
siguiente canción antes de que la aguja esta otra vez en la 12.
ON – La música tocará de manera continuada.
III. POSIBLES PROBLEMAS

GRAND CHIME CLOCK
I. Beschreibung
Vielen Dank für den Kauf der GRAND CIME CLOCK. Dies ist eine klassische Spieluhr; schön geschnitten für den Kaminsims; unsere GRAND CIME
CLOCK ist ein perfektes Sammlerstück. Das Gerät spielt 15 Weihnachtslieder und 15 ganzjährige Klassiker - zur vollen Stunde oder fortwährend. Inklusive
Netzteil und Batteriebetrieben (optional, Batterien sind nicht einbegriffen). Dieses Produkt ist kein Spielzeug und sollte deshalb nicht in Kinderhände
gelangen.
Einlegen der Batterien für die Uhr
1. Entfernen Sie den Deckel des Batteriefaches auf der Rückseite des Gerätes. (Siehe Abb. I.)
2. Legen Sie die Batterien vom Typ AA (inbegriffen) in das Batteriefach ein, und gehen Sie dabei sicher, das diese mit dem Pluspol und dem Minuspol richtig
herum eingelegt sind; sowie im Inneren des Batteriefaches beschrieben.
II. Inbetriebnahme
1. Stellen Sie das Gerät auf eine ebene Fläche.
2. Drehen Sie den Schalter für die Zeiteinstellung, um die richtige Zeit einzustellen.(Siehe Abb. II)
3. Öffnen Sie die Tür des vorderen Fensters und entnehmen Sie dann sorgfältig den Schaumstoff-Schutz im Inneren. (Siehe Abb. III)
4. Stecken Sie den Netzteilstecker in die „Power“ Buchse an der Rückseite des Gerätes. Stecken das Netzteil in eine funktionierende Steckdose in Ihrer Nähe.
Das Netzteil sollte korrekt eingesteckt sein, entweder in einer vertikal ausgerichteten; oder am Boden befestigten Steckdose.
5. Ihre GRAND CIME CLOCK kann auch Batteriebetrieben funktionieren (nicht inklusive). Legen Sie vier Batterien vom Typ C in das Batteriefach ein,
welches das Gerät mit Strom versorgt. Gehen Sie dabei sicher, dass diese mit dem Pluspol und dem Minuspol richtig herum eingelegt sind; sowie im
Inneren des Batteriefaches beschrieben. (Siehe Abb. IV)
Benutzen Sie nie Batterien und Netzteil zur selben Zeit!
6. Schalten Sie das Gerät ein, indem Sie den ON-OFF Schalter auf der Rückseite betätigen. Merke: Das Netzteil versorgt lediglich das Musikwerk (und nicht
das Uhrwerk) mit Strom.
7. Drehen Sie den Schalter für die Lautstärke um die richtige Lautstärke einzustellen. Merke: Wenn der Schalter auf LO steht, kann man keine Musik hören.
8. Betätigen Sie den Christmas Carols/Year-Round Songs Schalter um den gewünschten Musikstil einzustellen.
9. Stellen Sie den Einschaltknopf auf eine der folgenden Einstellungen:
CLOCK – Wenn der Minutenzeiger auf der 12 steht (volle Stunde), spielt das Gerät ein zufällig ausgewähltes Lied und stoppt danach. Das Gerät wird das
nächste Lied erst spielen, wenn der Minutenzeiger das nächste Mal auf der 12 steht.
ON – Die Musik wird kontinuierlich spielen.
III. Fehlersuche
Ihre GRAND CHIME CLOCK wurde so konzipiert, dass sie viele Jahre fehlerfrei funktioniert. Sollte trotzdem einmal ein Problem auftauchen, halten Sie sich
bitte an die folgende Tabelle mit Lösungsvorschlägen.

I- DESCRIPTION
Merci d’avoir choisi GRAND CARILLON. Une élégante boîte à musique avec une silhouette idéale pour les manteaux de cheminée, notre GRAND
CARILLON est la pièce de collection parfaite. L’unité joue 15 chants de Noël et 15 Grands Classiques sur une heure ou de façon continue. Adaptateur inclus et
peut fonctionner sur piles (optionnelles, non incluses). Ce produit n’est pas un jouet et ne doit pas être utilisé par des enfants.
INSTALLATION DES PILES DE L’HORLOGE
1- Retirer le couvercle du compartiment à piles situé sous le carillon (Voir Fig. I)
2- Insérer les piles de type AA (fournies dans le paquet) dans le compartiment en s’assurer de respecter le sens « + » et «-« comme indiqué dans le
compartiment à piles.
II- UTILISATION
1- Placer l’unité sur une surface plane
2- Tourner le bouton de l’horloge pour régler l’heure (voir FIG. II)
3- Ouvrir la porte vitrée du devant et retirer délicatement les protections (Voir FIG III).
4- Insérer l’adaptateur à l’arrière de l’unité. Brancher l’adaptateur à une prise murale proche. L’adaptateur doit être correctement positionné à la verticale ou
sur le sol.
5- Votre GRAND CARILLON peut également fonctionner sur piles (non incluses). Insérer 4 piles de type C dans le compartiment à piles qui fournis l’énergie
au carillon. S’assurer de bien respecter les signes « + » et « -« comme indiqué dans le compartiment (Voir FIG IV)

6- Tourner l’unité pour utiliser le bouton ON/OFF situé sous l’unité.
Note : L’adaptateur fourni l’énergie au module musical et non au mouvement de l’horloge.
7- Tourner le bouton du volume pour en ajuster la puissance. NOTE : lorsque le volume est au minimum, aucune musique ne peut être entendue.

9- Tourner le bouton d’alimentation pour l’une des fonctions suivantes :
« CLOCK » : Lorsque l’aiguille des minutes est sur le 12 (haut de l’horloge), le carillon joue une chanson au hasard puis s’arrête. La musique ne repartira
que lorsqu’une minute se sera totalement écoulée et que l’aiguille sera à nouveau sur le 12.

III- Dépannage
Le GRAND CARILLON a été conçu pour être utilisé sans problème durant plusieurs saisons. Si toutefois, vous rencontrez un problème, merci de vous référer
aux solutions proposées dans le tableau ci-dessous.

S’assurer que l’adaptateur est relié à une prise en état de marche et qu’il est correctement inséré à
l’unité
Pas de musique, lumière ou

Pour utiliser avec les piles, insérer 4 piles de type C dans le compartiment qui alimente le carillon.
Ne pas utiliser les piles et l’adaptateur en même temps.
Pas de musique ou les cloches
fonctionnent seules
La musique est trop faible, trop
lente ou inaudible
Pause entre deux
chansons
Attendre une seconde ou deux pour que la chanson suivante démarre
Le volume est sur 0
Tourner le bouton volume sur la position maximum (HI)
Le volume n’est pas
ajusté correctement
Ajuster le volume après l’avoir positionné sur la position HI
Le courant est interrompu
S’assurer que l’adaptateur est correctement insérer à la fois à la prise murale et à l’unité

Tous les produits en bois ont été fabriqués à la main et peuvent comporter de petites imperfections rendant chaque produit unique.

SONT AVALEES.
AFIN D’EVITER LES RISQUES D’INCENDIE OU D’ELECTROCUTION, NE PAS EXPOSER CE PRODUIT A LA PLUIE OU L’HUMIDITE. NE PAS COUVRIR.
AUCUNE PIECE REPARABLE. POUR LES REPARATIONS, SE REFERER A UN PERSONNEL QUALIFIE.
MERCI DE RESPECTER LES INSTRUCTIONS SUIVANTES :
1- Lire les instructions – Toutes les instructions de sécurité et d’utilisation doivent être lues avant utilisation de l’appareil. Merci de respecter les instructions et
les précautions pour votre sécurité.
2- Eau et humidité. Ne PAS placer l’appareil près d’une source d’eau de quelque sorte que ce soit – Evier, baignoire, lavabo, sur un sol mouillé ou prés d’une
piscine.
3- Chaleur – L’appareil doit être situé loin des sources de chaleur telle que radiateur, sèche cheveux, cheminée ou autre source produisant de la chaleur.
4- Prise de courant – L’appareil ne doit être branché qu’à une prise lui convenant.
5- Réparation des dommages- L’appareil doit être réparé par un service qualifié lorsque :
a. Le câble ou la prise d’alimentation sont endommagés ; ou
b. Un objet est tombé ou un liquide a été versé dans l’appareil ; ou
c. L’appareil a été exposé à la pluie ou l’humidité ; ou
d. Toutes les techniques de dépannage citées ont été essayées et que l’appareil ne fonctionne pas ou s’est arrêté
e. L’appareil est tombé et les pièces ont été endommagées.
ATTENTION : Des changements ou modifications du produit sans l’accord express des parties responsables de la conformité peut annuler l’autorisation de l’utilisateur à
manipuler l’appareil
