Alt kapp av trematerialer benyttes til oppvarming av egne lokaler. Kartonger som benyttes er produsert av resirkulert råstoff. Papp og papir sorteres og sendes til resirkulering. Øvrig avfall leveres til kommunalt deponi. Emissions from production which affect the external environment have been reduced to a minimum. The types of wood most used are beech and birch, veneer and solid wood. For internal woodwork we use particle board, plywood and solid wood. All board material conforms to the E-1 standard for formaldehyde emissions Glue and varnish conforms to the E-1 standard for formaldehyde emissions Foam plastic is produced without the use of CFC gasses. An environmentally friendly water-based contact glue is used for gluing foam plastic. All waste wood is used for heating our premises. The cardboard boxes we use are made from recycled raw materials. Cardboard and paper are sorted and sent for recycling. Other waste is delivered to municipal dumps. u m we l t s c h u t z Helland Møbler AS verfügt über eine moderne Produktionsanlage, bei der der Arbeitsschutz großgeschrieben wird. Produktionsbedingte, umweltbelastende Emissionen sind auf ein Minimum reduziert. Die am häufigsten benutzten Holzsorten sind Buchen- und Birkenlaminat und massivholz. Für Holzwerk im Innenbereich werden Spanplatten, Sperrholz und Massivholz verwendet. Alle Plattenmaterialien entsprechen der E-1-Norm über Formaldehydabspaltung. Klebstoffe und Lacke entsprechen der E-1-Norm über Formaldehydabspaltung. Schaumkunststoffe werden ohne FCKW hergestellt. Zum Kleben von Schaumkunststoffen wird ein umweltfreundlicher Kontaktkleber auf Wasserbasis benutzt. Alle Holzreste werden zur Heizung eigener Räumlichkeiten benutzt. Die verwendeten Kartons bestehen aus recycelten Rohstoffen. Papier und Pappe werden sortiert und dem Recycling zugeführt. Sonstige Abfälle gehen in die kommunale Deponie.
