Thank you very much for your help on our wedding day.
We both had a great day, and we had lots of great feedbacks too. People loved Javier’s paella that it was impressive seeing him cooking it, and the
flavours were fantastic! Unfortunately we were too busy talking and didn’t’ get a chance to taste it, but we’ll definitely go back for some paella
when we get a chance!
Some friends even told us that they were very full after having 2-3 plates of paella, but when they saw the lamb shoulder, they couldn’t resist it and
tried to fit more lamb in their stomach! We are glad that we managed to have a few canapés while we were waiting upstairs! Those canapés were
lovely!
Big thank you to you for going through the details with us before the big day, and be there to look after the details during the event!
Our family was a little worried before the day that “no allocated seats” sounds like a mess to them, but they were very happy how everything turned
out to be fantastic on the day!
It really takes some experience to know how guests will respond to certain things, and foresee the problems that might occur.

Available Spaces
The Wine Room
The Wine Room graces the light-filled mezzanine space for an experience where privacy is at a premium. Seats up to 46 guests comfortably at
round tables and is an enchanting dining space. This area is warm and intimate, that can be transformed to suit your ideal wedding reception. By
booking Moda Restaurant, very little theming is required to transform it to the perfect wedding venue.
The Garden Room
Our gorgeous sheltered courtyard is perfect all year round, keeping you cool in summer and warm in winter. We offer outdoor vibe with indoor
comfort. Our Garden Room offers al fresco dining at its best, suitable for up to 120 guests, more for cocktail style. With glass top roof, allowing
amazing natural light, the wine bar is ideal for daytime events and beautiful lighting for dusk and evening weddings. We are also able to offer
onsite ceremonies, while you have photos taken in the beautiful botanical gardens, your guests can move into the bar for pre-dinner drinks and
canapés.
Exclusive Use
With exclusive use of our gorgeous Restaurant, we can accommodate 120 guests seated and 150 standing. By starting the evening in the
mezzanine with canapés and beverages, before moving downstairs for dinner is the perfect way to celebrate at Moda. Guests can make use of our
fabulous bar for dancing as the night progresses. Exclusive use is the best way to enjoy a everything that Moda has to offer.
Minimum Spends
To book the Wine Room, Garden Room or the restaurant for exclusive use, minimum food and beverage spends will apply. Please contact our
events team for more information for your wedding reception. Please note that Sunday and Public Holiday Weddings incur additional staffing costs
depending on number of staff and duration required

Our seasonal menus are designed featuring the best produce available. We are also able to tailor wedding menus to suit your specific
requirements. We are delighted to cater for all dietary requirements with prior notice.
Javier’s Table
Rustic degustation menu or chef’s table; signature courses from the menu and dishes created from fresh seasonal produce are selected by the chef
for all guests at your table. This is the perfect menu to make your wedding feast truly memorable. The Moda style of food is unique and will have
you and your guests wanting to do it all over again.

Styling
By selecting Moda Restaurant many of our Brides and Grooms choose to keep the styling options quite simple and make the most of the fantastic
atmosphere of the venue. We are happy for you to supply with any styling that suits your dream wedding. We are happy for you to bring in
reconstructed floral arrangements, candles (in a votive that are tall enough to cover the naked flame), place cards, table numbers, seating charts,
wedding favours and our staff will put this out for you. For any more detailed theming we do ask that a trusted guests or a couple of friends come
and give us a hand.
Parking
Parking is readily available nearby at 129 Margaret Street and 45 Eagle Street

Terms and Conditions
Deliveries
Deliveries and bump in and out are made through our loading dock on Margaret Street (entrance is just before the Port Office Hotel). Car parking in
front of the restaurant is limited and our neighbors are very 'sensitive' on any illegal usage of the Grosvenor drive way. Deliveries can be made
from 9am Thursday and Fridays and 1pm on Saturdays. Weekend event collections must be done Monday from 12 pm to 4 pm.
Event Duration
Lunch time events from 11:45 am to 4:00 pm
Evening events from 5.00pm to 11.30pm
Due to liquor licensing and house policy, beverage service and entertainment must cease at midnight. All guests are required to start vacating the
venue at this time.
Damage and extra cleaning
The client is responsible for the conduct of their guests and is liable for the replacement cost for any loss, destruction or damage to any property of
the Restaurant caused by their suppliers or guests.
Audio Visual Equipment and Microphones
AV can be organized through the supplier of your choice. We do not have a sound system sufficient for dancing music, so we recommend you
organize this through your band or DJ. Moda is equipped with a handheld microphone, Data Projector and fixed and free standing screen at no
additional cost.
Final Guests Number
We ask for final guest numbers 1 week prior to your event along with the final set up requirements. Please note the final charge will be based on
the final guest’s number supplied. Any last minute set up or catering changes will incur an additional fee.
Booking Confirmation and Deposit
A signed wedding agreement and a $1000 deposit is required within 7 days in order to secure your date and confirm your booking. The total
amount of food and beverages consumed are to be paid upon departure.
The Reservation must be guaranteed with the Client’s credit card number. The Client agrees that a no show fee, if incurred, shall be charged to
his/her card for an amount of $1,000.00. The number of covers charged will be the number of guests confirmed and mentioned on the first page of
the present document. Amendments to the number of guests can be made by phone no later 1 week prior to the event.
Cancellations
The client must advise Moda Restaurant of a cancellation 3 month before the event. If the event is cancelled within less than 3 months of the
event, the client agrees on the payment of the $1,000.00 cancellation fee.
Sunday and Public Holiday Surcharges
A surcharge of $350 will apply for events held on a Sunday and $550 for event held on a Public Holidays. All credit cards will incur a 2% surcharge.
We recommend payments by EFT for Wedding Receptions at Moda Restaurant.
Payment
A deposit of $1000 is required to secure your date at the time of booking.
The remaining balance can be paid by direct deposit a minimum of 3 days prior to the event.
Any additional charges such as drinks on consumption above the amount paid prior will be required on the date of the event and can be paid on
the night by cash, credit card or eftpos.
Final Payment
The total amount of food and beverages consumed are to be paid upon departure.
