CHARGING THE SPRINTER
MODES AND SETTINGS
The Sprinter has variable light-output
settings and strobe illumination.
To turn on the Sprinter, depress and release
(click) the switch (Illustration 1), located
on the top of the housing. The LED will
activate at the brightest (high) setting.
Wait 3 seconds, depress the switch and
hold to access the dimming function.
The light will dim and flash at the lowest
setting. Release the switch any time during
the dimming mode to attain the desired
brightness. Click the switch anytime to turn
the light off. Depress and release (click) the
switch to turn the light on, double clicking
the switch within 1 second will access the
strobe illumination mode. Click the switch
anytime to turn the light off.
Anytime the Sprinter is turned on, the red
LED strobing taillight will be activated.
To turn the red taillight off, click the rear
switch. The taillight can be turned off or on
anytime the Sprinter is on. With the front
light off, the red LED can be turned on with
a single click for slow strobe, double click
for a fast strobe and triple click for solid
“on.” (Illustration 2)
Use the included USB cable to charge the
Sprinter with any USB power supply—a
wall plug, computer or car outlet.
◆ Connect the micro USB end of the cable
to the charging cradle (Illustration 8).
◆ Always inspec t your headlamp for
proper operation prior to using and, for
critical situations, carry a second light
and sufficient spare batteries.

met à clignoter à son niveau d’intensité
le plus bas. Relâchez l’interrupteur à tout
moment au cours du mode variateur pour
obtenir l’éclairage souhaité. Cliquez sur
l’interrupteur à tout moment pour éteindre
la frontale. Appuyez puis relâchez (= cliquez)
l’interrupteur pour allumer la frontale, cliquez
deux fois dans un délai d’une seconde pour
accéder au mode d’éclairage clignotant.
Cliquez sur l’interrupteur à tout moment
pour éteindre la frontale.
A chaque fois que vous allumez la Sprinter,
le clignotant LED rouge arrière se met en
route. Pour désactiver ce clignotant rouge
arrière, cliquez sur l’interrupteur situé au
dos du bloc optique. Le clignotant peut
être activé ou désactivé à tout moment
lorsque la Sprinter est allumée. Lorsque le
faisceau avant est éteint, l’éclairage LED
rouge peut être allumé d’un simple clic
pour obtenir un clignotement lent, d’un
double clic pour obtenir un clignotement
rapide et d’un triple clic pour obtenir un
faisceau lumineux fixe (Illustration 2).

NETTOYAGE
Assurez-vous que votre frontale est propre

utilisez un savon doux puis rincez à
l’eau claire.
◆ Pour nettoyer la lampe et la sangle,
lavez à la main à l’aide d’un savon doux.

DYSFONCTIONNEMENT
Si votre Sprinter ne fonctionne pas :
◆ Charger la batterie.
◆ Ajustez la sangle principale à la tension
désirée à l’aide du curseur de réglage
(Illustration 3).

AKKUBATTERIE – AUFLADBARE
LITHIUM-POLYMER-BATTERIE
Die Batterielebensdauer hängt von den
folgenden Faktoren ab:
◆ „Erholungszeit“ bzw. die Zeit, während
der die Lampe nicht in Betrieb war.
◆ Aussentemperatur.
◆ Verwendete Lampeneinstellungen.
◆ Für die maximale Brenndauer muss die
Batterie vollständig aufgeladen sein.
MODI UND EINSTELLUNGEN
Die Sprinter ist dimmbar und verfügt über
einen Blinkmodus.
Um die Sprinter einzuschalten, drücken
Sie den Schalter (Abbildung 1) oben am
Gehäuse und lassen ihn wieder los (ein
Tastenklick). Die LED wird mit der hellsten
Lichtstärke aktiviert.
Warten Sie 3 Sekunden und halten Sie den
Schalter gedrückt, um die Dimmfunktion
zu aktivieren.
Das Licht wird langsam gedimmt und
blinkt bei der niedrigsten Helligkeitsstufe
auf. Wenn im Dimmmodus die gewünschte
Helligkeitseinstellung erreicht ist, lassen
Sie den Schalter wieder los. Sie können
die Lampe jederzeit ausschalten, indem
Sie den Schalter drücken. Drücken Sie den
Schalter und lassen ihn wieder los, um die
Lampe erneut einzuschalten.Wenn Sie den
Schalter zweimal hintereinander mit einem
maximalen Abstand von einer Sekunde
drücken, wird der Blinkmodus aktiviert. Sie
können die Lampe jederzeit ausschalten,
indem Sie den Schalter drücken.
Sobald die Sprinter eingeschaltet ist, wird
das rote LED-Blinklicht am Hinterkopf
ak tivie r t . Um das rote Rücklicht zu
deaktivieren, drücken Sie den Schalter
an der Rückseite. Wenn die Sprinter
eingeschaltet ist, kann das Rücklicht
jederzeit ein- oder ausgeschaltet werden.
Wenn das vordere Licht ausgeschaltet ist,
kann die rote LED mit einem Tastenklick
im langsamen Blinkmodus, mit z wei
Tastenklicks im schnellen Blinkmodus und
mit drei Tastenklicks ganz eingeschaltet
werden. (Abbildung 2).
ANBRINGEN UND EINSTELLEN
DES ELASTISCHEN STIRNBANDS
◆ Stellen Sie das Kopf band mit dem
Kunststoffschnalle auf die gewünschte
Grösse ein (Abbildung 3).

◆ Fädeln Sie den hinteren Clip durch
die Öffnung an der vorderen

durch die geteilte Kunststoffschnalle

LADEN DER SPRINTER
Ver wenden Sie das im Lieferumf ang
enthaltene USB-Kabel, um die Sprinter
mit jeder beliebigen USB-kompatiblen
Stromversorgung aufzuladen, z. B. über
eine Netzsteckdose, einen Computer oder
einen Zigarettenanzünder im Auto.
◆ Ve r bin d e n Sie d e n Mik ro - USB Anschluss des Kabels mit der
Ladestation (Abbildung 8).
◆ Schliessen Sie die Ladestation an eine
USB-kompatible Netzsteckdose, einen
USB-Anschluss eines Computers oder
einen Zigarettenanzünder im Auto an
(Abbildung 8).
◆ Set zen Sie die Akkubat terie in die
Ladestation ein (Abbildung 9).
◆ L aden Sie die Bat terie für 4 bis 5
Stunden auf (Abbildung 10).
Indikatorlicht:

◆ Entfernen Sie die Akkubatterie aus der
Ladestation (Abbildung 11).
REINIGUNG
Stellen Sie vor der Aufbewahrung sicher,
dass die Lampe sauber und trocken ist.
◆ Bewahren Sie die Lampe NICHT in
feuchtem Zustand auf.
◆ Erwärmen Sie die Lampe NICHT zum
Trocknen.
◆ Reinigen Sie das elastische Stirnband
mit milder Seife und Wasser.
◆ Reinigen Sie die Lampe von Hand mit
milder Seife. Lassen Sie die Lampe an
der Luft trocknen.
FEHLERBEHEBUNG
Wenn die Sprinter nicht funktioniert:
◆ Laden Sie die Akkubatterie auf.
Sollte die Lampe dennoch nicht
funktionstüchtig sein, wenden Sie sich unter
der angegebenen Telefonnummer an Ihren
Black Diamond-Händler vor Ort oder an das
Black Diamond Warranty Department.

utilizzo possibile!
MODALITA’ E IMPOSTAZIONI
La Sprinter possiede diverse impostazioni di
luminosità e di illuminazione a lungo raggio .
Per accendere la Sprinter, premere e rilasciare
(cliccare) l’interruttore (Figura 1), posto sulla
parte superiore della frontale. Il LED si attiverà
al massimo livello di luminosità (alto) .
Attendere 3 secondi e premere l’interruttore
per accedere alla funzione che permette di
diminuire la luminosità.
La luce si abbassa e lampeggia quando
è raggiunto il livello minimo. Rilasciare
l’interruttore diverse volte durante la scelta
del livello di luminosità per raggiungere
quello desiderato. Per spegnere la frontale
premere l’interruttore. Premere e rilasciare
(cliccare) l’interruttore per accendere la
frontale; premendo l’interruttore per 1
secondo si avrà accesso all’illuminazione
a lungo raggio. Per spegnere la frontale
premere l’interruttore.
Ogniqualvolta che la Sprinter è accesa, il
LED rosso, che illumina posteriormente,
si attiva. Per spegnere la luce posteriore
rossa premere l’interruttore posteriore . La
luce posteriore può essere accesa o spenta
ogni volta che la Sprinter è in funzione.
Quando la luce frontale è spenta,il LED
rosso può essere acceso con un semplice
click per un’illuminazione intermittente
lenta, doppio click per una veloce e triplo
click per una decisa. (Figura 2).
AGGANCIARE E REGOLARE LA
FASCIA ELASTICA PRINCIPALE
◆ Regolare la fascia principale attraverso
il cursore per raggiungere la tensione
desiderata (Figura 3).
◆ Fascia superiore opzionale per una
maggiore sicurezza (Figura 4).
◆ Infilare il gancetto posteriore attraverso
la fessura nel perno frontale e agganciarlo
al box della batteria posteriore come
mostrato (Figure 5a e 5b).
◆ Inf ilare l’elastico attraverso la f ibbia
(Figura 6).
◆ Regolare secondo la tensione desiderata
(Figura 7).
PER CARICARE LA SPRINTER
Usare il cavetto USB incluso per caricare la
Sprinter con qualunque porta USB—una
presa da muro, una porta sul pc o sull’auto.
◆ Collegare l’attacco USB al’unità di carica
(Figura 8).
◆ Collegare l’unità di carica ad una
presa da muro con attacco USB, o ad
una porta del pc o ad un caricatore da
auto compatiibile con un attacco USB.
(Figura 8).
◆ Inserire la batteria nell’unità di carica
(Figura 9).
◆ Caricare la batteria per un minimo di 4.5
ore (Figura 10)
Indicatore di luce:
ROSSO = In carica
VERDE = Carica completata
◆ Disconnettere la batteria dall’unità di
carica (Figura 11).
PULIZIA
Assicurarsi che la propria frontale sia pulita
e asciutta prima e dopo ogni utilizzo e
prima di metterla via.
◆ NON mettere via la frontale bagnata.
◆ NON scaldare.
◆ Pulire la fascia elastica con un sapone
neutro e acqua.
◆ Per pulire la frontale e la fascia lavare
a mano con sapone neutro. Asciugare
all’aria.
RICERCA E RIPARAZIONE DI UN
GUASTO
Se la Sprinter non funziona :
◆ Carica la batteria.
Non avete avuto for tuna? Contat tare
il proprio rivenditore di f iducia Black
Diamond o il Black Diamond Warranty
Department al numero di telefono fornito.
◆ Per ridurre il rischio di strangolamento,
non posizionare le fasce della frontale
attorno al proprio collo.
◆ Del “tiempo de recuperación” o tiempo
que lleve apagada la linterna.
◆ Prima dell’uso controllare sempre che
lampada funzioni correttamente e, in
caso di situazioni critiche, portare una
seconda lampada e pile di ricambio a
sufficienza.
◆ De los ajustes de alumbrado que se
utilicen.
◆ Desconecta el compartimento de la
batería de la base de carga (ilustración 11).
◆ Para obtener una duración máxima de
la batería es necesario cargarla a tope.

intermitencia.
Para encender la Sprinter, pulsa y suelta (clic)
el botón (ilustración 1), situado en la parte
superior de la linterna. El LED se activará en
su intensidad más luminosa (alta).
Espera 3 segundos y pulsa el botón
para acceder a la función de atenuación
de intensidad.
La luz se atenuará y parpadeará cuando
alcance la intensidad más baja. Para dejarla
en la intensidad deseada, suelta el botón
cuando se alcance dicha intensidad. Para
apagarla, pulsa el botón en cualquier
m o m e n t o . P u l s a y s u e l t a (c l i c) e l
interruptor para encenderla. Si haces dos
clics en menos de 1 segundo, la linterna se
pondrá en intermitencia. Pulsa el botón en
cualquier momento para apagarla.
Siempre que se encienda la Sprinter
s e a c t i v ar á e l L ED t r a s e r o r o j o e n
intermitencia. Para apagar dicho led, pulsa
el botón trasero. La luz trasera se puede
apagar o encender en cualquier momento
en el que la Sprinter esté encendida.
Con la luz frontal apagada, el LED rojo
se pue de encender con un solo clic
para intermitencia lenta, doble clic para
intermitencia rápida y triple clic para que se
quede fija, sin intermitencia (ilustración 2)
CÓMO PONER Y AJUSTAR LA CINTA
ELÁSTICA DE LA CABEZA
◆ Ajusta la cinta principal con la hebilla
hasta dejarla en la tensión deseada
(ilustración 3).
◆ La cinta superior es de quita y pon, y
ofrece una mayor sujeción y seguridad
(ilustración 4 ).
◆ Pasa la hebilla trasera por la ranura
de la pieza delantera y ánclala al
compartimento trasero de la batería
como se muestra en las ilustraciones
5a y 5b.
◆ Pasa la cinta elástica por la hebilla

◆ Ajusta la cinta a la tensión deseada
(ilustración 7).
CARGAR LA BATERÍA DE LA
SPRINTER
Usa el cable USB incluido con la linterna
para cargar la Sprinter desde cualquier
toma USB que tenga alimentación (bien
un enchufe de pared, un ordenador o una
toma apropiada de un coche).
◆ Conecta el enchufe pequeño del cable
USB a la base de carga de la linterna
(ilustración 8).
◆ Conecta la base de carga a un enchufe
compatible USB, ya sea de una toma de
pared, un puerto USB de un ordenador
o una toma USB de coche (ilustración 8).
BATERÍA RECARGABLE DE
POLÍMERO DE LITIO
◆ Acopla el compartimento de la batería a
la base de carga (ilustración 9).
La duración de la batería variará en función
de los factores siguientes:
◆ Carga la batería durante 4 o 5 horas
(ilustración 10).
Luces indicadoras:
ROJA = Cargando
VERDE = Carga completa
Asegúrate de que tu linterna esté limpia y
seca antes y después de cada uso, así como
antes de guardarla.
◆ NO guardes la linterna húmeda.
◆ NO la calientes.
◆ Limpia la cinta elástica con un jabón
suave y agua.
◆ Para limpiar la linterna y las cintas,
lávalas a mano con un jabón suave.
Sécalas al aire.
