Durch den Einsatz modernster Workflow-Technologie sind wir in
der Lage, PDF mit Transparenzen nativ zu verarbeiten. Aus diesem Grund sollte der Export mindestens nach PDF/X4-Standard
oder den Faller-Settings erfolgen.
By using state-of-the-art workflow technology we are able to
process PDF files including native transparencies. For this reason
the PDF export should be made according to the PDF/X4 standard
or the Faller settings.

Halbtonbilder sollten mindestens 300 dpi in Endgröße
aufweisen.

The resolution of continuous tone images should be at least
300 dpi in the final size.
For a high quality output the resolution of bitmaps, scanned
logos or barcodes must be at least 1,200 dpi in the final size.
DCS images are not compatible with a PDF workflow and
therefore shall not be used.
Fonts
Schriften
Nach den o. g. Standards müssen alle Schriften zu 100 % im PDF
eingebettet sein (keine Untergruppen).
According to the aforementioned standards all fonts have to be
100% embedded in the PDF file (no subsets).

Es können nur der CMYK- und der Sonderfarben-Farbraum
verarbeitet werden (nicht RGB-, LAB- oder ICC-basiert).
The only colour spaces we can process are CMYK and spot colour
(not RGB, LAB or ICC based).

Die verwendeten Separationen und Farbbezeichnungen müssen
den späteren Druckfarben entsprechen.
The name of the colour separations must correspond to the
subsequent print colours.
Datenübertragung und Prüfung
Data transfer and preflight
Sie können Faller Daten mittels CD, DVD oder E-Mail übermitteln.
Ebenso kann Faller Daten über das Internet empfangen (FTP, HTTP,
HTTPS). Bitte prüfen Sie die Daten vor der Übermittlung mit
einem aktuellen Virenscanner auf Virenfreiheit.
You can transfer files to Faller via CD, DVD. Faller can also receive
files via the Internet (e-mail, FTP, HTTP, HTTPS). Please check all
data for virus contamination with an up-to-date virus scanner
before transfer.

File name
Bezeichnen Sie Dateien nur mit alphanumerischen Zeichen
zuzüglich Binde- oder Unterstrichen. Achten Sie auf eine
eindeutige Namensvergabe.
File names must only contain alphanumeric characters including
hyphens or underscores. Please give special attention to distinct
filenames.
Beschnitt, Über- und Unterfüllungen
Bleed and Trapping
Für alle grafischen Elemente, die durch das Endformat begrenzt
werden, müssen 2 mm Beschnitt vorhanden sein. Die Daten sind
überfüllungsneutral aufzubauen.
All graphical elements which are bounded by the trimbox must
have a 2 mm bleed. Artwortk files shall not contain any trapping.
Varnish free areas
Lackaussparungen
Um ein Verschmieren oder Verkratzen von Text und graphischen
Elementen zu vermeiden, müssen diese grundsätzlich vollflächig
lackiert werden. Ausgenommen hiervon sind technische
Aussparungen, z.B. an Stellen zum Aufdruck variabler Daten,
oder Flächen, die einen separaten Eindruck erhalten.
To avoid smearing and scratching of text and graphic elements,
these areas have to be varnished in principle. Excepted of this are
technical gaps, e.g. areas for printing of variable data or areas for
a separate imprint.

da Faller aus Gründen der Effizienz und des Einsatzes modernster
Technik die Verwendung sogenannter Universalmatrizen vorsieht.
Abweichungen hiervon ziehen kostenpflichtige Nacharbeiten
nach sich.

Endformatrahmen (Trimbox) korrekt eingestellt sein.

diese Farbe als eine eigene Separationsfarbe an. Zur visuellen
Darstellung der Form für die Farbe Weiß färben Sie diese
Separation in einer zusätzlichen Farbe (z. B. helles Rosa) ein.
Ist die Farbe Weiß nicht in die Daten eingearbeitet, benötigt
Faller eindeutige Angaben darüber, wie das Weiß aussehen soll.

To visualize the shape of the white printing colour area, define

Im PharmaServiceCenter Faltschachteln in Waldkirch produzieren
wir in zwei Werken Faltschachteln in unterschiedlichen Macharten,
hoch veredelt, mit Blindenschrift. Im Werk I werden Bogen bis zu
56 x 74 cm verarbeitet, im Werk II bis 75 x 105 cm. Außerdem kann
auch kaschierte Wellpappe verarbeitet werden. Besonderheiten
der Fertigung sind Kombiprodukte. Hierfür können wir Etiketten
auf Faltschachteln oder Packungsbeilagen aufspenden, Packungsbeilagen in Faltschachteln einbringen (Pick-and-Place) oder
Fenster-hinterklebungen vornehmen. Außerdem haben wir für
die Sicher-stellung der Japan-Qualität eigens eine Sortiermaschine
angeschafft. Die Produktionskapazität liegt bei mehr als 1,6 Mrd.
