POLISH MOBILE PAYMENTS STANDARD BLIK (BLIK CODE AND BLIK VOUCHER) BLIK is a mobile payments system for payments without cash and cash withdrawals from ATMs without a card. BLIK is based on IKO mobile payments developed by PKO Bank Polski. It has not replaced the IKO app, but has become an integral part of it. BLIK mobile payments are used not only by people who installed the IKO app, or clients of PKO Bank Polski, including Inteligo, but also by clients of ING Bank Śląski, BZ WBK, Bank Millennium, Alior Bank and mBank. Other financial institutions will soon start using BLIK mobile payments, of which the representatives of the company Polski Standard Płatności will inform the consumers. BLIK works in the form of a BLIK code and BLIK voucher. 22 BLIK code The BLIK code (previously IKO code) is an individually generated string of 6 digits in IKO app that facilitates daily non-cash payments and withdrawals from ATMs without a card. •The BLIK code is a one-time string that can be used within 120 seconds after it is generated by the IKO app. It is possible to extend the BLIK code, provided that the user taps the caption “Dotknij, aby odświeżyć” (“Tap to refresh”) which is shown 25 seconds before the expiry. •The BLIK code is only available when the IKO app is connected to the Internet. The BLIK code is visible only after logging in to the IKO app, but you can also generate it in the “Tryb szybkich płatności” (“Quick Payments mode”) and then it will appear on the screen when you tap the field: “Dotknij, aby zobaczyć kod” (“Tap to refresh”). Rules for BLIK code display can be changed in the app settings. BLIK voucher The BLIK vouchers (previously IKO vouchers) consists of 9 digits and allows for the processing of payments for purchases and cash withdrawals from ATMs to the predetermined amount in the offline mode. The BLIK voucher can be used by yourself or by another person. This person does not need the IKO app, or a bank account, and can be under 18 years old. He only needs to know 9 digits of a valid BLIK voucher and the password for vouchers (see below “How to create the BLIK voucher?”). •Before creating your first BLIK voucher, you need to set the password for vouchers in iPKO/Inteligo electronic banking system. Holders of the IKO wallet must set the “hasło do czeków” (“password for vouchers”) at the website portmonetka.pkobp.pl •You can have up to 5 active BLIK vouchers. •After generating the BLIK voucher in the IKO app, the funds in the account are blocked until the voucher is used or its period of validity expires. •If the BLIK voucher is not used or expires, the funds will be available again. •One BLIK voucher can be used only once. •Transactions with the BLIK voucher are executed for the amount equal to or less than the amount for which it was issued. If you use PLN 5 of PLN 15, then PLN 10 will return to the account of the person who generated the BLIK voucher. •Each BLIK voucher transaction should be confirmed with the password for vouchers. If the voucher is used by another person, give that person the password for vouchers. •If you suspect that the voucher number and/or password for vouchers can be used by an unauthorized person, cancel the BLIK check in the IKO app or change the password for vouchers. •Transactions made with BLIK voucher are subject to transaction limits. How to generate the BLIK voucher? 1.Run the IKO app and log in. 2.Select “Czeki” (“Vouchers”) on the main screen or “Czeki BLIK” (“BLIK vouchers”) from the menu. 3.Select “Utwórz” (“Create”) on the screen with the list of vouchers. 4.Fill in the fields: enter the value of the voucher – the maximum amount you want to make available in the form of a voucher for purchases or withdrawal of cash from ATMs. Set a period of validity. Optionally, enter the voucher’s title. Your voucher will be available in the IKO app without logging in. If you do not need access to the BLIK vouchers before logging in to the IKO app, uncheck the “Zapisz offline” (“Save offline”) field. 5.To complete the process, confirm changes by pressing ““Utwórz” (“Create”). The voucher will be automatically avaible in the IKO app. How to given the BLIK voucher to another person? 1.Run the IKO app. If the BLIK voucher has been saved offline, it will be available before logging in when you tap 23 the “Czeki” (“Vouchers”) button. If you have not enabled this feature when you generated the voucher, you need to log in. 2.Select “Czeki BLIK” (“BLIK voucher”) on the main screen or from the menu. 3.Select the envelope icon. 4.Select one of the options available to send the voucher – for example in the form of an SMS. 5.Enter the details of the person to whom you want to send the BLIK voucher or select the person from the contacts list and send the message. The recipient can use the BLIK voucher when you provide him with the password for vouchers. Do not send the password for vouchers in the same message as the voucher number to minimize the risk of data interception by unauthorized persons. One BLIK voucher can be used only once – the difference between the amount of the BLIK voucher and the value of the transaction will be returned to your account. Remember that transactions made with the BLIK voucher are subject to limits that are saved in your online banking. WITHDRAW CASH FROM ATM WITHOUT CARD BLIK allows for cash withdrawal from ATMs of: • PKO Bank Polski, • Alior Bank (Euronet ATMs in bank branches), • Bank Millennium, • Bank Zachodniego WBK, • Credit Agricole Bank Polska (Euronet ATMs in bank branches), • Euronet, • Getin Bank (Euronet ATMs in bank branches), • Idea Bank (Euronet ATMs in bank branches), • ING Bank Śląski, • mBank, that support withdrawals without a card. The fee for cash withdrawals using the BLIK code/voucher is set in the Table of fees and commissions. Transaction limits for the IKO app (including ATM withdrawals) can be changed in the iPKO/Inteligo internet banking service – does not apply to holders of the IKO wallet, for which the limits are defined by the Act of 19 August 2011 on payment services and the Act of 16 November 2000 on the prevention of money laundering and financing of terrorism.
