Beschreibung
Performance improvements in the form of reduced time and client CPU usage when performing actio
such as:
-Workspace refresh
-Download
-Add to workspace
-Checkout
-Checkin
-Update
-Other actions when dealing with a large list of objects
are available with Microsoft Hotfix 919237 "You may experience slow performance when you view a
page that uses JScript in Internet Explorer 6".
This hotfix will benefit all Windows clients on all Windchill releases (6.2, 7.0, 8.0, and later releases)
This hotfix is applicable to both a standalone web browser (Internet Explorer) and the embedded Int
Explorer web browser within Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire.
The hotfix will provide the most benefit when working with larger sets of objects (1000+

It is anticipated that the hotfix will be available via direct download from Microsoft and will be includ
Windows XP SP3, Internet Explorer 7.0 and Windows Vista when they become available. In addition,
working with Microsoft to obtain permission to redistribute the hotfix. Regardless of how the fix is ob
the Windows Registry key changes will still need to be made. For Windows XP x64, request the hotfi

The registry settings can be set manually, by copying the aformentioned values into a *.reg file and
executing the file, on runtime with the syntax "regedit.exe /s path of .reg file", on login to the mach
