Mr. Hurrell began his legal career with the predecessor firm of Hillsinger and Costanzo, where he quickly jumped into the trial arena his first year of practice. He averaged trying six to eight cases a year as he progressed into his legal career. Mr. Hurrell specializes in the defense of Products Liability, Government Liability, Professional Liability, and General Liability litigation. He has achieved a remarkable success rate in the last decade, often achieving major victories. In 2004, Mr. Hurrell tried a major action in Los Angeles, California involving allegations of mold contamination and related illnesses by 25 individual plaintiffs in which the settlement demand was $12 million dollars. After two months of trial, the jury came back with a token judgment awarding plaintiffs minimal damages for inconvenience, but denying them any damages for personal injury. HC Thomas C.
