Ein Pionierwerk unter den Bergbahnen:
1912 wurde die Jungfraubahn eröffnet.
Seither bringt sie die Gäste von der Kleinen Scheidegg auf das Jungfraujoch –
Top of Europe. Die Bahn durchquert auf
ihren Schienen Eiger und Mönch und hält
am höchstgelegenen Bahnhof Europas,
auf 3454 m ü.M. Ab Endstation, 117 Meter
weiter oben, ist die Aussichtsplattform
Sphinx innerhalb von 25 Sekunden über
eine Liftanlage erreichbar.

mécaniques: le Jungfraubahn a été mis en
service en 1912. Depuis lors, il emmène les
voyageurs de la Petite Scheidegg au Jungfraujoch – Top of Europe. Le train traverse

A pioneering project among mountain
railways: the Jungfrau railway opened in
1912. It has been carrying visitors from
Kleine Scheidegg to the Jungfraujoch –
Top of Europe – ever since. The line passes right through the Eiger and the Mönch,
with the train stopping at the highest
station in Europe at 3454 m above sea
level. From the terminus, a lift takes you
in just 25 seconds up to the Sphinx viewing platform, 117 m higher still.

Das Kandertal steht für Naturerlebnisse

The Kandertal is the place for experiences close to nature and far away from
