CHOMARAT AT TECHTEXTIL 2015:
A UNIQUE RANGE OF TEXTILE KNOW-HOW
Chomarat will present all of its activities for the first time at the TechTextil 2015 trade show: coated
fabrics and technical films, grids and reinforcements for composites, in a range of sectors that
includes construction, luggage, luxury, telephony and design. “We are one of the rare players in the
market to propose this type of synergy between know-how and technology, which enables us to
meet the demands of the market, and to tailor our solutions to each customer’s requirements. Since
TechTextil is the world’s leading trade show for technical textiles and nonwovens, it is important for
us to show our entire offering there,” says Philippe Chomarat, head of Chomarat’s Coatings & Films
business.
Among other things, Chomarat will present three flagship product lines: Oflex™ (coated fabrics),
C-PLY™ (carbon reinforcements) and C-Grid® (carbon grids).
Three flagship product lines for high-performance textile solutions
OFLEXTM Design and OFLEXTM Bio-based are two coated fabric lines that offer a wide range of design
possibilities in the luggage, luxury-accessory and telephony sectors, without sacrificing any strength
and low-weight properties. Intermediate-module (IM) carbon fibre C-PLY™ Ultra Thin also addresses
the weight reduction challenge. Chomarat’s aluminium-film-reinforced glass grids for roof
waterproofing have optimal vapour-barrier performance and sufficient mechanical strength to
support the weight of anyone working on the roof. Chomarat’s C-GRID® carbon grids, developed for
the construction market (concrete reinforcement), will also be exhibited at the Group’s stand in
collaboration with B&R Building Materials.

EIN EINZIGARTIGES PORTFOLIO AN TEXTILEM KNOW-HOW
Es ist eine Premiere, dass CHOMARAT bei der Fachmesse TechTextil 2015 all seine Produktkategorien vorstellt. Dazu
gehören neben beschichteten Geweben und technischen Folienauch Gelege Verstärkungsmaterialien für
Verbundwerkstoffe Diese Produkte sind etabliert in der Baubranche, der Taschen- und Gepäckindustrie, bei der
Herstellung von Luxusartikeln, in der Telefonindustrie oder auch der Designbranche. „Wir gehören zu den wenigen
Unternehmen auf dem Markt, die mit einer derartigen Synergie von Know-how und Technologie aufwarten können.
Wir können somit auf die Anforderungen des Marktes zielgerichtet eingehen und unseren Kunden Lösungen nach Mass
anbieten. TechTextil ist die weltweit führende Fachmesse für technische Textilien und Vliesstoffe. Daher ist es auch so

Chomarat legt den Akzent auf drei innovative -Produktreihen: Oflex™ (beschichtete Gewebe), C-PLY™ (trockene Gelege
aus Kohlefaser) und C-Grid® (epoxybeschichtetet offene Gelege aus Kohlefaser).
Drei Produktreihen für leistungsstarke -Lösungen im Textilbereich
Die Auswahl an beschichteten Geweben OFLEXTM Design und OFLEXTM Bio-based eröffnet eine Vielzahl an DesignMöglichkeiten, ohne dabei Abstriche in Sachen Widerstandsfähigkeit und Leichtigkeit in Kauf nehmen zu müssen.
Besonders in der Taschen- und Gepäckindustrie, bei Luxusaccessoires und in der Telefonbranche kommen die
beschichteten Textilstoffe daher zum Einsatz. Gewichtsreduzierung ist ebenfalls ein Thema für die C-PLY™ ULTRA THIN
Gelege aus IM Kohlefasern. C-GRID® sind ausgehärtete Gelege aus Kohlefaser und Epoxidharz, die CHOMARAT als
Alternative zu Stahlbeton entwickelt hat. Auch sie werden auf dem Messestand des Unternehmens zu sehen sein,
präsentiert in Zusammenarbeit mit unserem Vertriebspartner B&R Building Materials. Weiterhin zeigen wir mit
Aluminium verstärktes Glas-Gelege für die Dachbahnindustrie. Doese Gelege sind eine optimale Dampfsperre und
verfügen zudem über sehr gute mechanische Festigkeiten, , die ein Begehen des Daches in Arbeit möglich macht.

UN UNIQUE PANEL DE SAVOIR-FAIRE TEXTILE
CHOMARAT présente pour la première fois toutes ses activités au salon TechTextil 2015 : textiles
enduits et films techniques, grilles et renforts pour composites, dans différents secteurs, tels que la
construction, la bagagerie, le luxe, la téléphonie ou encore le design. « Nous sommes l’un des rares
acteurs sur le marché à proposer une telle synergie de savoir-faire et de technologies, ce qui nous

Trois gammes phares pour des solutions textiles hautes-performances
Les gammes de tissus enduits OFLEXTM Design et OFLEXTM Bio-based permettent ainsi de
nombreuses possibilités de design dans les secteurs de la bagagerie, des accessoires de luxe ou de la
téléphonie, tout en conservant leurs propriétés de résistance et de légèreté. L’allégement est
également le challenge relevé par le nouveau C-PLY™ ULTRA THIN en fibre carbone IM. Les grilles
de verre CHOMARAT renforcées d’un film aluminium destinées à l’étanchéité des toitures présentent
des performances pare-vapeur optimales, ainsi que des résistances mécaniques permettant la
circulation des hommes sur les toits. Les grilles carbone C-GRID®, développées par CHOMARAT pour
le marché de la construction (renfort béton), seront également exposées sur le stand du Groupe, en
collaboration avec B&R Building Materials.
