Cala Formentor también conocida como Cala Pi de la Posada

Posada es una ensenada, en

Cala Formentor oder Cala Pi de la Posada ist

referencia a la coloración de este arenal.

Cala Carbó
Cala Carbó está a 10,3 km del
Hotel Illa d Or , junto a Cala Molins,
Cala Clara y Cala Barques forma

servicios turísticos.
Este mordisco de mar paradisíaco

Cala Bóquer también conocida como Vall de Bóquer.
Cala Bóquer o Vall de Bóquer está a 2,7
km del Hotel Illa d Or. Su nombre de origen
romano hace referencia a Bocchor, núcleo de
máxima importancia de la zona junto Pollentia,
documentado por Plinio (siglo I a.C.).
Este entrante de mar impresionante y agreste se
introduce 300 metros tierra adentro, parapetado
por acantilados imponentes, de piedra caliza y
exenta de vegetación. En su lado occidental se alza
Serra de Cavall Bernat, con alturas de 360 metros,
que se precipita verticalmente sobre el agua,
extendiéndose entre Cala San Vicente y Punta de la
Sal. Esta rada finaliza en un litoral rocoso, en cuyo
margen izquierdo se divisa una playa pequeña
de cantos rodados y gravas rebozados de alga
posidonia.
Esta manga de mar virgen, abierta a los vientos de
componente norte-noroeste, presenta las mejores
condiciones marinas y subacuáticas para fondear
una embarcación entre Cap de Formentor y Cala
Tuent, incluso los pescadores varan aquí sus barcas.
La profundidad sobre su fondo arenoso oscila entre
tres metros a 150 metros de la costa y dos metros
a un hectómetro de la orilla. A 14,9 millas marinas
se encuentra Puerto de Pollensa.
El acceso por carretera es sencillo hasta la
urbanización Bóquer siguiendo la señalización
viaria. Aquí se deberá estacionar el vehículo
particular y continuar el recorrido a pie. Los últimos
1,5 kilómetros se cubrirán entre pinos y dos
grandes peñas hasta alcanzar este entorno salvaje.

Cala Murta está a 15 km del Hotel
Illa d Or. Este espectacular entrante
de mar, en forma de “S”, se
introduce unos 180 metros tierra
adentro (la anchura de la bocana
mide 150 metros), finalizando en
una playa semicircular, parecida a
una rada, donde también muere
un torrente. Los acantilados
forman sus márgenes, estando el
derecho poblado por un encinar
y el izquierdo por la possessió
(finca rural) de Cala Murta y por
el oratorio de la Mare de Déu de
Formentor, envueltos por un pinar.
Estos terrenos son propiedad de la
Fundació Rotger-Villalonga que en
colaboración con el Obispado de
Mallorca, utilizan esta instalación
como casa de colonias. La grava y
la arena componen el sustrato de
esta playa semi virgen.

excelente lugar para el fondeo

Cala Estremer está a 13 km de Pollensa,

Cala Figuera está a 13,4 km del Hotel
Illa d Or. Este espectacular entrante de
mar, en forma de u, finaliza en una playa
entre acantilados, siendo los del margen
derecho verticales, de piedra y gran
altura, mientras que los del lado izquierdo
son de marès (arenisca), más bajos y de
pendiente oblicua. En su parte trasera se
alza Es Fumat (334 metros de altitud).
Arena y cantos rodados, recubiertos de
alga posidonia, alfombran este talud,
donde desemboca una torrentera. Frente
al litoral emergen dos peñascos. La
vegetación predominante es el monte
bajo de lentisco, palmito, así como
arbustos. Los pinos sólo coronan los
cantiles.
Las condiciones marinas para el fondeo
de embarcaciones son peligrosas si soplan
vientos del norte-noreste. La profundidad
sobre un fondo de arena y piedra oscila
entre cinco metros a dos hectómetros de
la orilla y tres metros a un hectómetro y
medio de la costa. Se recomienda entrar
dejando a babor los dos islotes existentes
en su interior. A 10,2 millas marítimas se
siguiendo la señalización viaria. Aun
estando próxima a la carretera procedente
del sobrecogedor Cap de Formentor
(unos 200 metros sobre el nivel del mar),
con unas vistas panorámicas alucinantes,
registra una afluencia baja de turistas.
Se recomienda bajar a pie los últimos
1.400 metros sobre una pista de polvo
y piedras en malas condiciones. Así se
descongestiona la explanada final, usada
como aparcamiento y de donde sale una
escalinata que conduce a esta playa.

Cala en Gossalba está 19 km del Hotel
Illa d Or, situada entre Cala Murta, les

Este entrante de mar bello, virgen
y paradisíaco se caracteriza por
tener forma de u, unas dimensiones
reducidas, un talud en el que
predominan los cantos rodados y las
gravas, una orientación sureste-suroeste,
así como por dar lugar dos calitas al
tocar tierra firme y por estar rodeada de
montañas altas y de pinos.

del buceo de superficie y realizar
submarinismo con bombonas de
oxígeno. El fondo es rocoso recubierto
de algas. En medio de la cala se registra
una profundidad superior a los 10

La mejor àrea para llevar a cabo una
inmersión es la zona de Morro des Pont,
donde se podrá hacer un recorrido de
ida y vuelta, bordeando las paredes de

ver numerosas especies, sobre todo,
morenas.
El acceso por carretera es sencillo hasta
las cercanías de Cala Murta, donde se
podrá estacionar de manera gratuita
el vehículo particular. Desde allí se
iniciará una expedición a pie, entre
los acantilados y salvando desniveles
considerables, de 2,5 kilómetros de
distancia.

zweihundert Meter landeinwärts und
endet an einem Strand, der durch einen
hier mündenden Wildbach sowie durch
die Meeresströmungen gebildet wird.
Steine und Kiesel bilden das Substrat des
kleinen paradiesischen Strandes, der von
wilden Felsen und hohen Steilwänden
umgeben ist, die in ein transparentes Meer
hinabstürzen.

Landweg sehr lang, schwierig und

wirklichen Weg. Zwei mögliche Routen
gehen ab Formentor oder ab Cala Murta.
Beide Strecken sind nicht markiert, man
folgt dem Küstenprofil zwischen spitzen
Felsen hindurch, den Winden und der
Gischt ausgesetzt. Unterwegs wird man
alte Steineichen und Flechten sehen.

Cala Castell
Cala Castell está a 12,8 km de
Pollensa, entre los quebradizos
cantiles agrestes de Punta Galera y los
acantilados rasos de Punta Topina.
Su nombre hace referencia a Castell
del Rei, castillo roquero de origen
sarraceno (siglo XIII), que vigilaba este
litoral desde lo alto de las Serra de
Ternelles (476 metros), desde donde
se disfrutan de sobrecogedoras vistas
panorámicas del norte de Mallorca e
incluso de la isla de Menorca.
Esta bella playa salvaje se origina al
final de un barranco, dividiéndose en
dos calas, cuyo sustrato está formado
por cantos redondos, gravas, arena y
restos de alga posidonia.

profundidad sobre un fondo de roca
y alga oscila entre seis metros a 200
metros de la costa y tres metros a un

Cala Castell after a 10 kilometres walk.

der beschränkten Zufahrt durch diese
Possessió.
