Professional. Beide Pferde stammen
aus der Zucht der Eifel Gold Ranch,
für die Tiara auch als Assistant Trainer arbeitet. Don John Escapes BB
war Austrian Futurity Champion und
unter Susy Baeck 2011 Reserve Futurity Champion Non Pro Level 2 in
Belgien und NRHA Breeders Futurity Bit Non Pro Dritter.
Matyas Gobert ist mehrfacher Belgischer Meister und holte auf der FEI
EM 2009 Mannschaftssilber sowie
Einzel-Bronze auf der FEI EM Junioren 2011.

In the Limited Open, the new NRHA European Champion is Tiara Van Dongen
(Belgium) aboard Don John Escapes BB
(Don Quixote Escapes x Soft Whizpers).
The two scored a 214.5. Matyas Gobert
(Belgium) and Koen Brutsaert’s Amarillo Crome (Custom Crome x Docs Little
Beauty) placed second scoring a 213. 5,
with Quentin Galliere (France ) and ND
Smart Pleasedunit (owner Pascale de De-
cker) placing third with a score of 213).
During 2013 NRHA European Championship, Tiara won the NRHA Rookie Professional aboard Pop Gun Cash BB and
rode Don John Escapes BB to the Reserve European Champion title Rookie Professional. Both horses were bred by Eifel
Gold Ranch, where Tiara is working as
an Assistant Trainer of Cira Baeck. Don
John Escapes BB was an Austrian Futu-
rity Champion and with Susy Baeck in the
saddle, 2011 Reserve Futurity Champion
Non Pro Level 2 in Belgium and NRHA
Breeders Futurity Bit Non Pro 3rd.
Matyas Gobert is a multiple Belgian Champion and earned team silver at the 2009 FEI
European Championship as well as Bronze
in Junior Division at the 2011 European
Championship.

At the 2013 European Championship,

erfolgreich vorgestellt und gewann auf der

Insgesamt nahmen 12 Nationen an der
NRHA European Affiliate Championship
2013 teil. Auf Platz 1 in der Länderwertung
liegt Belgien mit insgesamt 303 Punkten.
Sie führen im Open, Limited Open und
Non Pro, Rookie Professional und Rookie
Ranking und stellten den Open European
Champion. Österreich folgte knapp dahin-
ter auf Platz 2 (298,5) mit herausragenden
Ergebnissen in Intermediate Open und Non
Pro, Rookie (61 Punkte und damit gleichauf mit Belgien) und vor allem Youth Ranking. Platz 3 ging an die Niederlanden, die
265 Punkte sammelten, und dabei in Youth,
Rookie, Limited Non pro und Int. Open besonders hervorstachen.

Austria Second
Altogether 12 nations participated in the
2013 NRHA European Affiliate Championship. It was Belgium which took the
lead in Nations ranking with a total of 303
points. They were leading in total Open,
Limited Open and Non Pro, Rookie Professional and Rookie Ranking and stood
the Open European Champion. Austria
followed not far behind (298.5) on second
place, leading in Intermediate Open and
Non Pro, Rookie (61 points like Belgium) and especially in Youth Ranking. The
Netherlands placed third with a total score
of 265 excelling in Youth, Rookie, Limited
Non pro and Int. Open.

Die lange Erfolgsserie von Claudio Risso
(Italien) und seinem Spat A Blue ist um
einen weiteren Sieg reicher: mit einer 220
sicherten sich die beiden den NRHA European Champion Titel in der Non Pro und
verwiesen dabei NRHA Reserve World
Champion Non Pro Tina Künstner-Mantl
(Österreich) mit ihrem Heza Sure Whiz
(Topsail Whiz x Im Not Blonde) auf Platz 2
(218,5). Titelverteidiger Manuel Bonzano
und sein Great Sun Burst kamen mit einer
218 auf Platz 3.
Claudio Risso zählt zu den besten europäischen Non Pros und ist zugleich einer der
besten Züchter. Je sechs Mal erhielt er den
NRHA Germany Breeders Award und den
‚Best Breeder’ der IRHA. Als Reiter hat er
alles mindestens einmal gewonnen, was
es in Europa zu gewinnen gibt an großen

Heza Sure Whiz ist ein solches Ausnahmepferd, dem Tina Künstner-Mantl viele ihrer
Erfolge verdankt. Der typvolle 13-jährige
Hengst ist einer der erfolgreichsten Söhne
von Topsail Whiz in Europa. Zu seinen Erfolgen zählen: EquitaLyon Grand Prix Res.

und Reserve Champion, NRHA European
Champion und Res. Champion Non Pro.
Mit ihm wurde Tina Künstner-Mantl auch

A winning combination did it again: Claudio Risso (Italy) and his Spat A Blue claimed the 2013 NRHA European Championship Non Pro scoring a 220. Tina
Künstner-Mantl (Austria) and her Heza
Sure Whiz (Topsail Whiz x Im Not Blonde) placed second scoring a 218.5, with last
year’s Champion Non Pro Manuel Bonzano and his Great Sun Burst following on
third place with a score of 218.
Claudio Risso is not only one of Europe’s
leading Non Pro riders, but also one of its
best breeders. Six times he was awarded the
NRHA Germany Breeders Award and earned the IRHA ‚Best Breeder’ Award. Claudio has won every major Non Pro show in
Europe at least once. He was an NRHA
European Futurity Champion Non Pro,
multiple NRHA Breeders Futurity Champion Non Pro, multiple IRHA Futurity and
Maturity Champion Non Pro and multiple
Bronze Trophy Champion. Twice he won
the EquitaLyon Grand Prix, and in 2011
he was NRHA World Champion Non Pro.
A lot of these achievements including the
World Champion he earned with his flas-
hy and brilliant stallion with whom he won
the European Championship now: Spat O
Lena. The 11-year-old bay is by Spat Olena
out of ARC Joy Surprise and was bred by
Claudio himself. “He is an incredible horse”, Claudio said. “He surprises me time
and time again.”
Another very exceptional horse is Reserve
European Champion Heza Sure Whiz with
whom Tina Künstner Mantl earned many
of her achievements including the Reserve

Mit einer grandiosen NRHA European
Championship Open Klasse endete die
NRHA European Affiliate-Championship
2013. Neun Pferd-Reiter-Kombinationen
hatten hierfür gemeldet, und ein herausragender Ritt folgte dem anderen. Ebenso
gingen die Scores in die Höhe – bis NRHA
Million Dollar Rider Bernard Fonck auf
Danny und Mireille Ceratos Sail On Top
Whizard als vorletzte Starter schließlich
den Spitzenscore setzten: 227. Das bedeutete den European Champion Titel 2013
für eine außergewöhnliche ‚Winning Combination’ im Reiningsport, der sich auch
Grischa Ludwig (Deutschland) mit Crome
Dont Corrode (Bes. de Bruin Reining Horses) geschlagen geben musste. Mit einer
221,5 wurde er Reserve Champion, knapp
gefolgt von Rieky Young und Brady Chex
(221).
Mit dem jetzt 8-jährigen AQHA Hengst
Sail On Top Whizard (Whizard Jac x. Miss
N Sis) gewann Bernard Fonck den ersten
NRHA European Futurity Champion Open
Level 4 Titel. Unzählige Erfolge folgten,
darunter multiple Bronze Trophys und der
IRHA Derby Open Co-Champion 2011.
Weit über $ 200.000 hat der Hengst mittlerweile an NRHA LTE. Zudem verhalf
er Bernard 2012 zu seinem dritten Open
World Champion Titel in Folge.
Crome Dont Corrode (Custom Crome x
Maggie Chex) wurde in den USA gezüchtet und gewann dort die Congress Reining
Futurity Non Pro. Grischa Ludwig stellte
ihn bereits beim Breeders Derby Open vor.
Die beiden zeigten hier in Wiener Neustadt
einen brillianten Ritt. Grischa Ludwig ist
u.a. zweifacher Deutscher Reining Meister,
multiple Bronze Trophy Champion, NRHA
Breeders Derby Reserve Champion Open
und Limited Open Champion und multiple FEQHA European Champion. Bei den
Weltreiterspielen in Lexington wurde er
Fünfter in der Einzelwertung und damit
bester Europäer.

Open NRHA European Championship
With a fascinating NRHA European Championship Open class, the 2013 NRHA European Affiliate Championship ended.
Nine horse-rider-combinations had been
entered, and one fine run followed the other
while scores climbed higher and higher. In
the end it was NRHA Million Dollar Rider
Bernard Fonck aboard Danny and Mireille
Cerato’s Sail On Top Whizard who became
NRHA European Champion Open after a
brilliant run scoring a 227. Grischa Ludwig (Germany) and Crome Dont Corrode
(owner de Bruin Reining Horses) became
Reserve Champion scoring a 221.5, followed by Rieky Young and Brady Chex on
third place (221).

N Sis) Bernard Fonck was the first NRHA
European Futurity Champion Open Level
4, but that was just the beginning of a remarkable career for this outstanding stallion, whose acheivements include multiple
Bronze Trophies and the 2011 IRHA Derby Open Co-Championship. His NRHA
LTE are over $ 200,000 now and it was

earned his third NRHA World Champion

Crome Dont Corrode (Custom Crome x
Maggie Chex) was bred in the USA where he won the Congress Reining Futurity
Non Pro. Grischa Ludwig showed him in
the Breeders Derby Open, and presented a
great run here in Wiener Neustadt. Grischa
Ludwig was German Reining Champion
twice and represented his country many
times in FEI competition. He is a multiple Bronze Trophy Champion, NRHA
Breeders Derby Reserve Champion Open
and Limited Open Champion and multiple FEQHA European Champion. At the
World Equestrian Games in Kentucky, he
placed 5th in individual competition being
the best European Competitor.
