Do you have a business idea?
If you have a passion or a dream about working
for yourself or starting a business then you
should contact Airedale Enterprise Services
(AES) – a free business coaching service.

David provides tailored one-to-one support and
you can meet him in convenient local venues
such as Shipley’s Kirkgate Centre, Windhill
Community Centre and in Baildon and Bingley.

THE CELLAR TRUST
Building brighter futures
with people recovering from mental health problems
We are a charity that provides support
to people recovering from mental health
problems, in the Bradford, Airedale,
Wharfedale and Craven areas. We
understand that recovery is very personal;
it can mean different things to different
people. That’s why we provide tailored
support to help our clients move forward and
improve their mental health and wellbeing, in
a way which can complement any additional
support they are receiving through medical
professionals or other services.
support for people who are interested in
returning to education.
We offer a range of work experience
programmes that can help people to develop
self-confidence, motivation and skills. These
are based in our six skill shops, which include:
catering, conferencing and reception,
retail, woodwork, horticulture, and animal
care. Several of our skill shops operate
as social enterprises, which means people
gain experience in an environment which is
supportive but also a real commercial setting.
Some of our skill shops also provide people
with the opportunity to undertake accredited
qualifications.
Unfortunately we are unable to take selfreferrals but if you would like support
obtaining a referral please contact us.
Once a person feels ready to return to
work we help by finding work placements
and volunteering opportunities. We provide
support with writing CVs, job searching,
filling in job applications and preparing for
interviews. We also provide courses and
Our services are available to you if you
have a medium to severe or longer term
mental health problem and are currently
unemployed or employed but having difficulty
attending or staying in work. To access our
service you will need to be referred by a
GP, psychiatrist, psychologist, social worker,
community psychiatric nurse, or another
secondary mental health professional.

Volunteering at The Cellar Trust
Are you looking to make a difference
in your local community? Do you want
something interesting to do in your
spare time? Do you want to make new
friends and maybe even learn new
skills? If the answer to any of these
questions is yes, then we have great
opportunities for you.
Each year, to continue delivering our
valuable service we need to raise
around £250,000 through fundraising
and earned income from our cafe and
charity shop. Volunteers play a vital role
in enabling us to do this.
We’re looking for enthusiastic people
to become Volunteer Ambassadors,
helping us to run community fundraising
activities and events throughout the
year. Whether you can spare a few
hours once a week, once a month, or
just the occasional Saturday afternoon
we’d love to hear from you.
