Großvater, Vater und Onkel im Jahre 1942
gegründet haben.

zu werden. Um dies zu gewährleisten spielen

I am delighted to offer you an insight into
the company that was established in 1942
by my grandfather, father and uncle.
Our objective is to supply maximum added
value, whilst continuing to meet the needs
of the end user. To realize this, we utilize our
strengths on a daily basis: quality, systemthinking, innovation, reliability, know-how
and service.
We believe in the power of partnership and
make this the underlying principle in all our
activities. That is why we constantly invest
in our employees and the relationship with
our partners and end users – wherever they
may be in the world.
The Walraven Group is in full growth. New
products are being developed and new
markets are being explored. The founders
would be incredibly proud of the company
today. It continues to be a family business,
and intends to remain so, while it strives for

Die Walraven Group ist aus der Metallwarenfabrik J. van Walraven B.V., einem Familienunternehmen, das 1942 im Mijdrecht
(NL) gegründet wurde, hervorgegangen.
Gründer Jan van Walraven, Großvater des
heutigen Generaldirektors, war ursprünglich
ein Installateur. Da es in den Jahren nach
dem 2. Weltkrieg zu wenig Rohrbügel gab,
sah er sich gezwungen, seine Bügel selbst
herzustellen.
The Walraven Group originated from
Metalwork company, J. van Walraven B.V.,
a family business which was established in
1942 in Mijdrecht (NL). Jan van Walraven,
the founder and grandfather of the current
group managing director, was originally a
plumber. Due to a shortage of pipe fittings
in the years after World War II, he was
forced to make his own fittings.
Today, the small family enterprise has developed into an international company with
its own production and sales companies in
various countries. The Walraven Group has
nearly 700 employees, they are responsible
for the development, production and sales
of innovative fixing, fire protection and
sanitary systems.
Heute hat sich das kleine Familienunternehmen zu einem internationalen Unternehmen
entwickelt, mit eigenen Produktions- und
Verkaufsniederlassungen in diversen

Walraven ist einer der Initiatoren der
‘Gütegemeinschaft Rohrbefestigung’ (Safe
Connection). In diesem Verband wurden von
den wichtigsten Herstellern von Rohrbefestigungssystemen eindeutige Richtlinien und
Testverfahren aufgesetzt. Hierdurch werden
technische Eigenschaften von Rohrbefestigungsprodukten, wie z. B. die höchstzulässige

Safe Connection
Walraven is one of the founding members
of the ‘Gütegemeinschaft Rohrbefestigung’
(Safe Connection). This association, consisting of the most important producers of pipe
fixing systems, has established clear guidelines and testing procedures. This makes it
easier to compare the technical properties,
such as the maximum permissible load of
pipe fixing products.

The Walraven Group has production facilities in various countries with modern machines, which are often designed in-house.
Each production company has its own
speciality so that products can be manufactured in the most efficient manner.
Almost all of our tooling and moulds are
produced in our own tool making facility.
Walraven then manages the entire process from product development to manufacture
- and can quickly respond to developments
in the market.

Omefa B.V.
Omefa in Nieuwkoop (NL) ist bereits seit
1975 unser Partner bei der Entwicklung
und Herstellung von Kunststoffprodukten.
Gemäß dem Prinzip des ‘co-makerships’
wurden im Laufe der Jahre auf erfolgreiche
Art und Weise viele Spritzgussprodukte
entwickelt.
SWO Tooling s.r.o.
Dieser in 2007 gegründete Joint Venture
wurde durch Suchanek (ein Produktionsbetrieb von Walraven in Tschechien), das
Spritzgussunternehmen Omefa aus Nieuwkoop (NL) und Walraven errichtet. SWO
macht Stempel und Gussformen sowohl für
den eigenen Bedarf als auch für Dritte.
Omefa B.V.
Omefa in Nieuwkoop (NL) has been our
partner since 1975 for the development
and production of plastic products. Over
the years many injection moulded products
have been developed using the ‘co-production’ principle.
SWO Tooling s.r.o.
This joint venture was established in 2007
by Suchanek (one of Walraven’s production
companies in the Czech Republic), injection
moulding company Omefa (Nieuwkoop, NL)
and Walraven. SWO manufactures tooling
and injection moulds for both our own and
third party use.
Groupe ARaymond
Dieses französische Unternehmen (etwa
3.200 Mitarbeiter in 20 Ländern) ist ein
wichtiger Zulieferer der internationalen
Automobilindustrie. Die Zusammenarbeit
wurde in 2006 als Joint Venture Raywal
Holding SAS begonnen und betrifft hauptsächlich Produktentwicklung, Verkauf und

Der deutsche Familienkonzern Henkel (etwa
53.000 Mitarbeiter) ist weltweit aktiv in

2006 arbeiten Henkel und Walraven intensiv
an der Entwicklung, dem Verkauf und dem
Marketing des BIS Brandschutzsystems, mit

Groupe ARaymond
This French company (approx. 3.200
employees in 20 countries) is an important
supplier to the international automobile industry. This partnership took shape in 2006,
in the form of the Raywal Holding SAS joint
venture, and primarily relates to product
development, sales and marketing in France,
Spain and the United States of America.
Henkel KGaA
The German family owned company Henkel
(approx. 53.000 employees) is active worldwide in the field of detergents, cosmetics,
adhesives and sealing products. Since 2006
Henkel and Walraven have been working
together intensively in the development,
sales and marketing of Tangit® and BIS Fire
protection systems.
McAlpine & Co. Ltd.
Gegründet 1902 und in 1957 der erste Hersteller von Kunststoffsiphons im Vereinigten
Königreich. Heutzutage ist dieses schottische Familienunternehmen weltweit eines
der Größten auf dem Gebiet der Siphons
und deren Zubehör. Die Partnerschaft, die

The zinc plating company Loko, in
Gramsbergen (NL), has state of the art zinc
plating facilities.
Loko’s galvanisation lines are amongst the
most environmentally friendly in Europe.
Loko is ISO 9001: 2000-certified and has
been part of the Walraven Group since 1991.
McAlpine & Co. Ltd.
Established in 1902, this company became
the first producer of plastic siphons (during
1958) in the United Kingdom. Today this
Scottish family business is one of the major
worldwide players in the field of siphons
and accessories. The partnership dates back
to 1969 and relates to the sales and marketing of siphons as well as the development
of condensate siphons for central heating
boilers.
Loko B.V.
Das Verzinkungsunternehmen Loko in
Gramsbergen (NL) verfügt über computergesteuerte Produktionsstraßen für das
Hänge- und Trommelverzinkungsverfahren.
Die Zinklinien von Loko gehören zu den
umweltbewusstesten von Europa. Loko ist
ISO 9001: 2000 zertifiziert und gehört seit
1991 zur Walraven Group.

Die Walraven Group hat in den letzten 10
Jahren ein enormes Wachstum erlebt. In
hohem Tempo wurden neue Produkte entwickelt, Märkte erschlossen und Niederlassungen gegründet. Am Großhandelsmarkt
hat Walraven eine Marktführungsposition,
vor allem in Europa! Aber auch außerhalb
des europäischen Marktes ist Walraven auf
dem besten Weg, sich als feste Größe zu
etablieren. Dies belegen die stetig ansteigenden Exportaktivitäten und v.a. unsere
neu gegründete Niederlassung in den
Vereinigten Staaten.
