Cheerleading Tryout Information
Get in the True Blue Raider Spirit!
The MTSU Spirit team is dedicated to: providing support for athletic teams during competition
by leading the crowd in cheering; developing and promoting loyalty to MTSU and the
community; and participating in appropriate fundraising activities to support the program.
MTSU Cheerleaders
-Attend NCA Summer Cheer Camp at University of Louisville
-Compete at NCA College Nationals in Daytona Beach, FL
-Cheer at football, basketball, and volleyball games in Conference USA Athletics
-Travel to away football/basketball games/Bowl games/NCAA Tournaments
-Scholarships Available
MTSU Cheer Tryouts:
Friday, May 9 @ 7 p.m. (mascot tryouts are at this time as well)
Saturday, May 10 @ 1 p.m.
Sunday, May 11 @ 9 a.m.
[Team will be posted on May 11 with a mandatory team meeting to follow.]
*Tryouts will be held at Elite Energy Gymnastics and Cheer in Murfreesboro, TN.

*Tryouts are closed to public.
*Tryouts and an evaluation by the coach determine team membership.
*Video tryouts are accepted - Please submit videos by April 30, 2014.
