ST. MORITZ, Januar 2016 – Der Winter im Badrutt’s Palace Hotel wird heiss und
fasziniert mit einer Vielfalt an hochklassigen Veranstaltungen. Während das britische
Erfolgslabel Hed Kandi im King’s Club mit ihrem berühmten Deep House Sound die
Tanzfläche zum Beben bringen, garantieren Stars wie Umberto Tozzi, Dita von Teese
und Ornella Vanoni bei «In Concert@Badrutt’s Palace» für einen unvergesslichen
Abend. Die legendären Events «Snow Polo World Cup St. Moritz» und «White Turf»
sorgen für rasanten Spass und spannende Unterhaltung auf Schnee und Eis.
Der legendäre ‹King’s Club› bekommt dieses Jahr Unterstützung von dem bekannten «Glitz
and Glamour Label» Hed Kandi. Seit mehr als 15 Jahren sind die Britischen Remixer für
unzählige «Top Hits» verantwortlich und sorgen mit ihren unvergleichlichen «House Vibes»
für lange Partynächte. Eben noch an den Stränden von Ibiza und nun in den Alpen von St.
Moritz. Mit der grossen Eröffnungsparty am 6. Dezember 2015 startet der ‹King’s Club›
zusammen mit Hed Kandi in eine Wintersaison der musikalischen Extraklasse. Jedes
Wochenende sorgen die neuen «Resident DJ’s» für einen einzigartigen Clubsound, den es in
dieser Form noch nicht in St. Moritz gegeben hat. Zu besonderen Anlässen wie «Russian
Christmas» oder «Chinese New Year» können sich Gäste des ‹King’s Club› ausserdem auf
ein eigens darauf abgestimmtes musikalisches Erlebnis und Ambiente mit Hed Kandi freuen.
Umberto Tozzi und Ornella Vanoni, Topstars der Italienischen Popmusik sind dieses Jahr zu
Gast bei der erfolgreichen Eventreihe «In Concert@Badrutt’s Palace». Dita von Teese, die
weltweit bekannte Burlesque-Künstlerin, rundet mit sinnlicher Erotik das hochklassige
Bühnenprogramm ab.
Am Montag, den 4. Januar 2016 erfüllt die weiche Stimme von Umberto Tozzi die Halle des
‹Embassy Ballrooms›. Seine grössten Erfolge erzielte der heute 63-jährige Sänger in den
70er-Jahren mit Hymnen wie «Ti amo», «Tu» und «Gloria». Auf seinen Konzerten zeigt der
eher schüchterne Musikkünstler ein umfangreiches Song-Repertoire von gefühlvollen
Balladen über eingängigen Italo-Pop bis hin zu rockigen Up-beat-Nummern. Der Fokus liegt
dabei immer auf seiner einfühlsamen Stimme, die Millionen zum Mitsingen animiert und
generationsübergreifend begeistert.
Mit Dita von Teese und Ornella Vanoni bietet der zweite Teil des «In Concert@Badrutt’s
Palace», am Dienstag, den 8. März 2016, sinnliche Unterhaltung der Extraklasse. Dita von
Teese, die unter ihrem Geburtsnamen Heather Renée Sweet fast niemand kennt, überzeugt
mit ihrem aussergewöhnlichen Stil und ihrer künstlerischen Perfektion. Das Bild des leicht
bekleideten Stars, der sich aufreizend in einem übergrossen Champagnerglas rekelt, hat
längst Kultstatus erreicht. Unterstützt wird die Ausnahmekünstlerin von der Italienischen
Sängerin Ornella Vanoni, die die Bühne mit ihrer eindrucksvollen Stimme vereinnahmt. Die
heute 82-jährige Musikkünstlerin hat ihren Bekanntheitsgrad in der 60er-Jahren durch die
Teilnahme an diversen Musikfestivals gesteigert und feierte mit «Io ti darò di più», «Un'ora
sola ti vorrei» und «L'appuntamento» ihre grössten Erfolge. Neben ihrer einzigartigen
Bühnenpräsenz teilen die beiden Künstlerinnen die Gemeinsamkeit ihre Leidenschaft zum
Beruf gemacht und dabei das bekannte Männermagazin «Playboy» erfolgreich als
Sprungbrett für ihre Karriere genutzt zu haben.
Kaum fallen in St. Moritz die ersten Schneeflocken und der See fängt an zu frieren, beginnen
die ersten Vorbereitungen für die Eventhighlights «Snow Polo World Cup St. Moritz» sowie
«White Turf». Seit 1985 erleben Gäste und Einheimische jeden Winter, wie trainierte
Polospieler und ihre Rösser, im Kampf um den roten Ball, versuchen das Polomatch für sich
zu entscheiden. Das Badrutt’s Palace Hotel unterstützt den beliebten Wintersport wieder als
Sponsor und bestreitet das Turnier mit einem eigenen Team vom 29. bis 31. Januar 2016.
An den drei folgenden Sonntagen geht es mit «White Turf», rasanten Pferderennen auf der
Eisfläche des St. Moritzersees, spannend weiter. Der Start der verschiedenen Rennserien
wird seit letztem Jahr mit dem spektakulären «Night Turf», ein Rennen bei Nacht und
Flutlicht, eingeläutet. An allen Veranstaltungstagen begrüsst das Badrutt’s Palace Hotel
seine Gäste und Besucher der Veranstaltung in einem eigenen Zelt und sorgt für
erstklassigen Service sowie winterliche Spezialitäten direkt neben der Match- und
Rennfläche.
Zum Finale der Wintersaison präsentiert das Badrutt’s Palace Hotel zusammen mit diversen
anderen Locations den «Music Summit St. Moritz». Die bekanntesten DJ’s aus der
elektronischen «Dance Floor Szene» sind vom 16. bis 20. März 2016 wieder in luftigen
Höhen auf den St. Moritzer Berghütten und am Abend im legendären ‹King’s Club›
anzutreffen. Besucher dürfen sich jeden Abend auf einen hochkarätigen Gastauftritt eines
erfolgreichen Star-DJ‘s freuen und können das grosse Finale am 20. März 2016 zusammen
mit Hed Kandi im‹King’s Club› feiern.

MUSICAL DELIGHTS, A HEART FOR CHARITY AND TOP
EVENTS ON THE FROZEN LAKE ST. MORITZ
ST. MORITZ, January 2016 – Winter in Badrutt’s Palace Hotel is going to be a hot one
with a palette of fascinating, high class events. While the successful British label Hed
Kandi gets the ›King’s Club‹ dance floor vibrating to the their famous Deep House
sound, stars such as Umberto Tozzi, Dita von Teese and Ornella Vanoni guarantee a
night to remember during »In Concert@Badrutt’s Palace«. The legendary »Snow Polo
World Cup St. Moritz« and »White Turf« events provide racy fun and thrilling
entertainment on snow and ice.
This year the legendary ›King’s Club‹ is supported by the famous »Glitz and Glamour
Label« Hed Kandi. The British remixer has been responsible for no end of top hits over the
past 15 years, bringing us long party nights with their inimitable house vibes from the
beaches of Ibiza to the St. Moritz Alps. A winter season of first rate music kicks off with the
great opening party on 6th December 2015 in ‹King’s Club› together with Hed Kandi. Every
weekend the new resident DJs provide a unique club sound, the likes of which have never
been heard before in St. Moritz. On special occasions such as »Russian Christmas« or
»Chinese New Year« ›King’s Club‹ guests can party with Hed Kandi to a musical
experience and atmosphere created especially for the occasion.
Umberto Tozzi and Ornella Vanoni, top Italian pop musicians are guest performers at this
year’s series of successful music concerts, »In Concert@Badrutt’s Palace«. Dita von Teese,
the world famous burlesque artist rounds off the stage performances with high class erotica.
On Monday 4th January 2016 Umberto Tozzi’s soft voice fills the hall in the ›Embassy
Ballroom‹. The now 63 year old singer achieved fame in the 70s with his greatest hits »Ti
amo«, »Tu« and »Gloria«. The rather shy musician performs a wide repertoire of songs at
his concerts, ranging from sentimental ballads through catchy Italian pop songs to upbeat
rock numbers. The focus is always his sensitive voice which animates millions to sing along
and thrills people of all generations.
The second instalment of »In Concert@Badrutt’s Palace« on Tuesday 8th March 2016, with
Dita von Teese and Ornella Vanoni, offers the very best in sensual entertainment. Dita von
Teese, who is barely known by anybody by her name at birth Heather Renée Sweet, gives a
convincing performance with her exceptional style and artistic perfection. The image of the
scantily clad star sprawled provocatively in an overflowing champagne glass has reached
cult status. The exceptional star is supported by Italian singer Ornella Vanoni, who
monopolises the stage with her impressive voice. The now 82 year old musician’s rise to
fame began in the 60s when she took part in various music festivals and gained success with
hits such as »Io ti darò di più«, »Un'ora sola ti vorrei« and »L'appuntamento«. The two
artists not only share a unique stage presence but also turning their passion into their
profession and that they both used the famous men’s magazine »Playboy« as a spring board
for their career.
No sooner have the first snowflakes fallen in St. Moritz and the lake has started to freeze,
than preparations begin for the event highlights »Snow Polo World Cup St. Moritz« and
»White Turf«. Guests have watched how the trained polo players and their ponies battle it
out with a red ball for the winning trophy every winter since 1985. Badrutt’s Palace Hotel is
once again sponsoring the beloved winter sport event as well as participating in the
tournament with its own team from 29th to 31st January 2016.
The excitement races on at a fast pace on the following three Sundays with »White Turf«,
the thrilling horse races on the frozen lake. Since last year, the series of races kicks off with
the spectacular »Night Turf«, a floodlit race by night. Each day of the event Badrutt’s Palace
Hotel welcomes its guests and visitors to its own hospitality tent, offering first class service
and winter specialities right next to the polo ground and racetrack.
As a fine finale to the season, Badrutt’s Palace Hotel presents »Music Summit St. Moritz«,
together with various other locations. The best known DJs of the electronic dancefloor scene
play in the lofty heights of St. Moritz alpine huts again by day and in the legendary ›King’s
Club‹ by night from 16th to 20th March 2016. Visitors can look forward to the very special
guest appearance every night of a successful star DJ and to celebrating the grand finale on
20th March with Hed Kandi in ›King’s Club‹.
