Kaliningrad (RUS)
On the agenda for Kaliningrad is the tour of the famous cathedral, the
symbol of the city. In the old days the Prussian kings were crowned here!
And in the amber museum, we learn more about the development of
amber out of the resin of conifers.
Pflichtprogramm in Königsberg ist die Besichtigung des berühmten
Domes, dem Wahrzeichen der Stadt. Hier wurden früher die preußischen
Könige gekrönt! Und im Bernsteinmuseum erfahren wir mehr über die
Bildung von Bernstein aus dem Harz von Nadelbäumen.
Day 1
Berlin (D)
Welcome to Berlin, the German capital! Per transfer or individual arrival,
you head for your hotel which is located near the center. Before we
get together for our Welcome Drink and Dinner and get ready for our
motorcycle tour, we will head for the historic Brandenburger Tor for a
group photo.
Willkommen in Berlin, der deutschen Hauptstadt! Per Transfer oder
individueller Anreise geht es zu Ihrem zentral gelegenen Hotel. Bevor wir
uns beim Welcome Drink und Dinner auf die gemeinsame Motorradreise
einstimmen, geht‘s zum historischen Brandenburger Tor für ein
Gruppenfoto.
Day 2
Berlin (D) > Gdansk (PL)
After a hearty breakfast early in the morning we head straight to Gdansk
and the Baltic Sea, where we take a trip to the Slowinski National Park
and the „Polish Sahara“ with its white sand beach and the large dunes.
The start of our Special Event tour is also coinciding with the Russian
national holiday.
Nach einem herzhaften Frühstück geht es gleich früh am Morgen
in Richtung Danzig und an die Ostsee, wo wir einen Ausflug in den
Slowinski-Nationalpark und die „Polnische Sahara“ mit ihrem weißen
Sandstrand und den großen Wanderdünen unternehmen. Der Start
unserer Special Event Tour fällt übrigens zeitlich zusammen mit dem
Russischen Nationalfeiertag.
Day 3
Gdansk (PL) > Kaliningrad (RUS)
In the morning, we will take a tour of the town of Gdanks and cross the
border to Russia in the afternoon. We will spend the night in the city
formally known as Königsberg now Kaliningrad. Am Vormittag machen wir eine Stadtbesichtigung von Danzig und
überqueren am Nachmittag die Grenze nach Russland. Unser Nachtlager
schlagen wir im früheren Königsberg, in Kaliningrad auf.
Day 7
Riga (LV)
The old Hanseatic city and largest city of the Baltic States is famous for its
art nouveau buildings and its well preserved old town. Reason enough to
put in on our trip a relaxing day to your own free disposal.
Die alte Hansestadt und größte Stadt des Baltikums ist berühmt für
ihre Jugendstilbauten und ihre gut erhaltene Altstadt. Grund genug auf
unserer Reise einen entspannenden Tag zur freien Verfügung einzulegen.
Day 5
Kaliningrad (RUS) > Vilnius (LT)
Our motorcycle tour leads us into the capital of Lithuania, to Vilnius. From
the 16th century, Italian master builders created here numerous baroque
buildings and so the old town of Vilnius is today among the largest in
Eastern Europe and was declared by the UNESCO as a world cultural
heritage. With it’s over 50 churches Vilnius carries also the surname
„Rome of the East“.
Unsere Motorradreise führt uns in die Hauptstadt Litauens, nach Vilnius.
Ab dem 16. Jahrhundert schufen hier italienische Baumeister zahlreiche
barocke Bauwerke und so zählt die Altstadt von Vilnius heute zu den
größten in Osteuropa und wurde von der UNESCO zum Weltkulturerbe
erklärt. Mit seinen über 50 Kirchen trägt Vilnius auch den Beinamen „Rom
des Ostens“.
Day 6
Vilnius (LT) > Riga (LV)
From Vilnius we cruise on towards the north to Latvia, the capital Riga.
Von Vilnius cruisen wir in Richtung Norden nach Lettland, in die
Hauptstadt Riga.
Day 8
Riga (LV) > Tallinn (EST)
Today we drive to Tallinn, the capital of Estonia. It lies on the Gulf of
Finland of the Baltic Sea. Sights are i.e. the remnants of the medieval
castle constructed in the 14th century, the castle built by the Russian czar
Katharina II and the Russian orthodox Alexander-Newski-Cathedral with
its visible onion domes.
Heute fahren wir nach Tallinn, der Hauptstadt von Estland. Sie liegt am
Finnischen Meerbusen der Ostsee. Sehenswürdigkeiten sind u. a. die
Überreste der im 14. Jahrhundert gebauten mittelalterlichen Burg, das
von der russischen Zarin Katharina II. gebaute Schloss und die russischorthodoxe Alexander-Newski-Kathedrale mit ihren weithin sichtbaren
Zwiebeltürmen.
Day 9
Tallinn (EST) > St. Petersburg (RUS)
A further highlight on our adventure trip is quite surely the visit to St.
Petersburg, the second largest city of Russia after Moscow and the fourth
largest city of Europe. Due to the location during the summer solstice at
night it stays quite light.
Weiterer Höhepunkt auf unserer Motorradreise ist sicherlich der Besuch
von St. Petersburg, die nach Moskau zweitgrößte Stadt Russlands und
die viertgrößte Stadt Europas. Aufgrund der Lage bleibt es zur Zeit der
Sommersonnenwende auch nachts fast hell.

Day 10
St. Petersburg (RUS)
We will take an extensive sightseeing tour of the former capital of the
Russian Empire and briefly named city Leningrad. St. Petersburg is a
culture center important throughout Europe and accommodates the most
important Russian Baltic Sea harbor. It‘s historic inner city with 2,300
palaces, gorgeous buildings and castles is a world cultural heritage of
the UNESCO and is exceeded in this regard worldwide only of Venice.
Wir unternehmen eine ausgiebige Stadtbesichtigung der früheren
Hauptstadt des Russischen Kaiserreiches und kurzzeitig in Leningrad
umgetauften Stadt. St. Petersburg ist ein europaweit wichtiges
Kulturzentrum und beherbergt den wichtigsten russischen OstseeHafen. Ihre historische Innenstadt mit 2.300 Palästen, Prunkbauten und
Schlössern ist Weltkulturerbe der UNESCO und wird in dieser Hinsicht
weltweit nur noch von Venedig übertroffen.

Day 13
Moscow (RUS)
A full day program awaits our travel group. Planned is a group photo on
the Red Square with the St. Basil Cathedral in the background, a short
stopover at the Harley-Davidson dealer in Moscow and - if possible - in
the evening a performance at the world-famous Bolshoi Theater. If we
now have Bill Davidson and Vladimir Putin at the joint parade to the Red
Square and in the group photo and if famous ballet piece „Swan Lake“ is
played for us, this would certainly be the climax for our visit to Moscow.
Ein volles Tages-Programm erwartet unsere Reisegruppe. Vorgesehen
sind das gemeinsame Gruppenfoto auf dem Roten Platz mit der Basilius
Kathedrale im Hintergrund, eine Stipvisite beim Harley-Davidson
Händler in Moskau und - wenn möglich - am Abend eine Aufführung
im weltberühmten Bolschoi Theater. Wenn wir jetzt noch Bill Davidson
und Wladimir Putin bei der gemeinsamen Parade zum Roten Platz und
auf dem Gruppenfoto dabei haben und wenn dann noch das berühmte
Ballett-Stück „Schwanensee“ für uns gespielt wird, wäre das sicherlich die
Krönung für unseren Moskau Besuch.

Today is at your own disposal.
Der heutige Tag ist zur freien Verfügung.
Day 11
St. Petersburg (RUS) - Vyshniy Vol. (RUS)
A sheer endless expanse awaits us and so we stop in in Vyshniy Volochek
- half way from St. Petersburg to Moscow.
Eine schier endlose Weite erwartet uns und so machen wir in Vyshniy
Volochek Station - auf halbem Weg von St. Petersburg nach Moskau.
Day 12

Finally - we reach the absolute highlight of our trip: Moscow, the capital of
the Russian Federation with its approximately 12 million inhabitants. For
the next three nights, we spend the night in the political, economic and
cultural center of the country.
Es ist soweit - wir erreichen den absoluten Höhepunkt unserer Reise:
Moskau, die Hauptstadt der Russischen Föderation mit seinen rund 12
Millionen Einwohnern. Für die nächsten drei Nächte übernachten wir im
politischen, wirtschaftlichen und kulturellen Zentrum des Landes.
Day 15
Moscow (RUS) > Smolensk (RUS)
Even if we head back on our return journey westwards to Berlin, so awaits
us some more great highlights such as our destination, the town lying near
the border of Belarus, Smolensk. Smolensk was mentioned in 863 the
first time as a city in a document. It‘s location in the Kievan Rus running
along the Dnieper trade route brought it early to the rank of a trade town.
Auch wenn wir ab jetzt die Rückreise gen Westen nach Berlin antreten,
so warten weitere großartige Höhepunkte auf uns, wie unser Tagesziel,
die nahe der Grenze zu Weißrussland liegende Stadt Smolenk. 863
wurde Smolensk das erste Mal als Stadt urkundlich erwähnt. Ihre Lage
in der Kiewer Rus an dem entlang des Dneprs verlaufenden Handelsweg
brachte ihr schon früh den Rang einer Handelsstadt ein.
Day 16
Smolensk (RUS) > Minsk (BLR)
We cross the boundary to Belarus and stopover in Minsk, the capital and
at the same time the largest city of Belarus. Well worth seeing in Minsk are
mainly the Old Town, formerly known as „uptown“ to the Orthodox Holy
Spirit Cathedral, the old monastery of the Bernadine Sisters from 1628
and the Town Hall rebuilt after original historic plans.
Wir überqueren die Grenze nach Weißrussland und machen Station in
Minsk, der Hauptstadt und gleichzeitig größten Stadt Weißrusslands.
Sehenswert in Minsk sind vor allem die Altstadt, die früher sogenannte
„Oberstadt“ um die orthodoxe Heiliggeist-Kathedrale, das alte
Bernardinerinnenkloster aus dem Jahre 1628 und das nach historischen
Plänen wiederaufgebaute Rathaus.
Day 17
Minsk (BLR) > Warsaw (PL)
The longest day on our tour leads us over endless stretches to Poland and
into the capital Warsaw.
Der längste Tag auf unserer Tour führt uns über endlose Weiten nach
Polen und in die Hauptstadt Warschau.
Day 18
Warsaw (PL)
An organized tour of the town brings us closer to Warsaw with its
numerous palaces, the historic old town with its triangle castle and the
unique culture monuments.
Eine organisierte Stadtbesichtigung bringt uns Warschau mit seinen
zahlreichen Palästen, der geschichtsträchtigen Altstadt mit seinem
dreieckingen Schlossplatz und den einmaligen Kulturdenkmälern näher.
Day 19
Warsaw (PL) > Poznan (PL)
Today we cruise to the western part of Poland, on the Warthe River, the
historic University City Poznan. The city belonging to the cultural focal
points of Poland harbors two zoos.
Heute cruisen wir zum im westlichen Teil Polens, an der Warthe
gelegenen, historischen Unniversitätsstadt Poznan. Die zu den kulturellen
Mittelpunkten Polens gehörende Stadt beherbergt gleich zwei Zoos.
Day 20
Poznan (PL) > Berlin (D)
On our last day on the road we head directly to Berlin. During the
traditional Farewell Dinner in the evening, we will look back and reminisce
about our common motorcycle adventure.
An unserem letzten Tag on the road fahren wir direkt nach Berlin. Beim
traditionellen Farewell Dinner am Abend lassen wir unser gemeinsames
Motorrad-Abenteuer nochmals Revue passieren.
