shared experiences
In the Corrèze we like nothing better than getting together to
watch a rugby match, the king of sports in the region, stroll
around the Book Fair in Brive, head for a local strawberry or
blueberry fair, or attend one of the numerous concerts and
festivals held throughout the year.

Marvel at a fortified castle, or perhaps an
aspect of the region’s wild beauty. From
the Tours de Merle to the otters hiding
amid the peat bogs of Le Longeyroux,
there’s a whole new world awaiting
discovery!

Local farmers’ markets
www.marches-producteurs.com
Comprising between 15 and 25 farm producers
and local artisans, these “local farmers’ markets”
(Marchés des Producteurs de Pays) promote the
wealth and diversity of the products of the Corrèze. The
true shop window of the département, these markets
pride themselves on their direct contact between
producers and their customers. Hugely convivial in
atmosphere, the majority of these markets take place
on festive occasions and provide customers with an
opportunity to stay and enjoy the local products they
