estudios en el Conservatorio Bela
Bartok y se graduó en la “Liszt Ferenc
Academy of Music” de Budapest.
Ha sido invitada a varios festivales
importantes de música de cámara en
diversos países. Ha dado conciertos
en Alemania, Austria, España, Italia
y Francia. A lo largo de su carrera
musical ha tocado con músicos
de la talla de Roland Szentpáli,
Gábor Boldóczki y Kristóf Baráti y
de directores como László Marosi y
Ádám Medveczky.

Festival de Tradiciones Navideñas/Christmas Traditions Festival
Festival der Weihnachtstraditionen
Un año más, el grupo de la Escuela Municipal de Folclore de Arona realizará el Festival de
Tradiciones Navideñas que, en esta ocasión girará en torno al almácigo, uno de los símbolos
que definen la identidad cultural e histórica de Arona. El almácigo se erige como un testigo
de excepción del devenir de la historia de este municipio y, por supuesto, de sus gentes y de
su íntima cotidianeidad. Siempre ligado a los recuerdos de los aroneros, el almácigo será el
hilo conductor de este festival llamado “Navidad bajo el almácigo”, en el que el vínculo mágico
existente entre el árbol y la memoria del pueblo se pondrá de manifiesto.
Once again this year the group from Arona’s
Municipal Folk School will be holding the
Christmas Traditions Festival which on this
occasion will be centred on the mastic tree,
one of the symbols that defines Arona’s
cultural and historic identity. The mastic
tree stands as an exceptional witness to the
development of this municipality’s history, and
of course to that of its folk and their intimate
everyday life. The mastic tree, always tied
up with the memories of the people from
Arona, constitutes the underlying theme of
this festival, entitled ‘’Christmas under the
mastic tree’’, in which the magical link existing
between the tree and the memory of the
people will be highlighted.
Ein weiteres Jahr wird die Gruppe der
Folklore Schule der Gemeinde Arona
das Festival der Weihnachtstraditionen
veranstalten, das sich dieses Mal rund um die
Terebinthe drehen wird, eines der Symbole,
welches die kulturelle und historische
Identität von Arona definiert. Die Terebinthe
erhebt sich wie ein ausnahmsloser Zeuge der
Geschichte dieser Gemeinde, ihrer Menschen
und ihrer Alltäglichkeit. Stets in Erinnerung
der Bewohner von Arona, ist die Terebinthe
der rote Faden des Festivals „Weihnachten
unter der Terebinthe”, bei welchem die
zwischen dem Baum und der Erinnerung des
Dorfes existierende magische Verbindung
zum Ausdruck gebracht wird.

of Culture will be organising Christmas street parades through different
locations in the municipality in which pupils will be entertaining those
attending with a repertory appropriate for the occasion

Proyecto de la Red de Bibliotecas de Arona que
pretende propiciar espacios y tiempos de encuentro
para los lectores más pequeños a través de una
sesión de cuentacuentos. Comenzaremos esta nueva
andadura con la lectura de un cuento de navidad a
cargo de un invitado sorpresa.
Project by the Arona Network of Libraries which aims
to promote gatherings for children to read through
a storytelling session. We will commence this new
reading debut with a Christmas story tale told by a
surprise guest reader.
