Nat King Cole was an original. His voice was unmistakeable and completely unique and he was loved the world over, especially here in the UK. Every generation since his death has fallen in love with the King’s voice and music; his late daughter, Natalie Cole, brought her father’s music to a new generation in the 90s when her own vocal track was added to her father's 1961 stereo re-recording of his original 1951 classic ‘Unforgettable’. Don’t miss what is sure to be an unforgettable evening. .............................................................................................................................................................. Doors Open: 6.45pm Show Starts: 7.30pm Tickets: £16 (advance), £19 (on door) Seating: Reserved Theatre Style .................................................................................................................................... Punchlines derive their humour from being unexpected – ‘Punch’ indicating that the ‘Line’ should always come as a surprise or shock. The major school of thought suggests that few punchlines are funny out of context. There is another school of thought - Dave’s school of thought - that the opposite can be true. In this new show he will present evidence to support this. He quotes: “Bob? Who’s Bob?” / “Have you got bunkbeds?” / “Eileen, bring me a cloth. “Then of course, there are nuns. Nuns in baths, nuns on bikes and that lion walking in to a pub; not to mention the bloke with the big orange head…” “Not only a very funny comedian, but one of the finest raconteurs around” - Time Out “Down to earth comic genius” - City Life “Go and see a master at work... pure comic gold” - Lancashire Evening Post “Sell your first born for a ticket...an evening of absolute quality” - North West Evening News “His delivery and timing are quite exceptional” - Scotsman Muni Box Office: 01282 661234 Muni Box Office: 01282 661234 www.themuni.co.uk www.themuni.co.uk 5 Ticketline: 0844 8884406 Ticketline: 0844 8884406 www.ticketline.co.uk www.ticketline.co.uk Oliver! - Stage Door Youth Theatre Thursday 6th - Saturday 8th October .................................................................................................................................... George Critchley, for PMA Productions Ltd, brings his version of Jack and The Beanstalk to life in Colne, with a cow, some magic beans, a never-ending beanstalk and a ferocious giant. Following a successful run as the Fairy in The Sleeping Beauty in 2015, we are delighted to announce Shorelle Hepkin, from CBBC's Wolfblood, will return to Colne, to take on the role of the Fairy in this traditional tale. Joining her will be everyone’s favourite Dame, Keith De' Winter, direct from his role as Goss Toowers in the latest Star Wars block-buster. And, of course, the show wouldn’t be the same without George Critchley, who returns for his 21st consecutive season to play the part of Silly Billy, as well as produce and direct this musical masterpiece! Join us to see if our hero Jack can climb the beanstalk to battle the Giant - and his evil sidekick Fleshcreep - and rescue the Princess. Along with a full, professional, supporting cast and all the traditional ingredients of a fun-filled, family pantomime, this is sure to be a treat for any age. ....................................................................................................................................
