Con le sue bianche spiagge alternate a rocce che a

apparve “appena sorta dal mare, fluttuare nella luce,

un poeta nel sonno leggero di una notte d’estate”.

citrus groves, with its thermal water springs, which

the french writer Lamartine wrote: “Seeing this island
for the first time, it seemed to me as though it were
