Allgemeine Hinweise
Das Arbeitsblatt wurde in Anlehnung an die zahlreichen Quizshows im deutschen Fernsehen konzipiert und kann im Unterricht
vielfältig eingesetzt werden:
1) Vertretungsstunden: Die Schüler benötigen nur einen begrenzten Wortschatz und können im Spiel ihr „landeskundliches
Wissen“ überprüfen.
2) zur Wiederholung der Unterrichtseinheit
3) als „Test“ – Wer kennt Australien am besten?
Spielregeln:
Die fünfzehn Fragen haben zunehmenden Schwierigkeitsgrad.
Bei korrekter Beantwortung der ersten Frage wird die nächste
gestellt usw. Bei einer falschen Antwort ist der nächste Spieler
an der Reihe. Damit dieser wieder bei Frage 1 anfangen kann,
sind die Fragen 1 bis 6 jeweils dreifach vorhanden, die Fragen
7 bis 11 jeweils doppelt. Nur die Fragen 12 bis 15 sind einfach
vorhanden.
Folgendes Punktesystem wird vorgeschlagen:

Die Punkte können als Bestandteil der mündlichen Note, in
„Gummibärchen“ oder in einer Klassen-Rangliste (nach mehreren
Spielen) umgesetzt werden. Die Umsetzung sollte mit der Klasse
vorher abgestimmt werden.
Jeder Spieler hat mehrere Joker:
50:50-Joker: Die Lehrkraft streicht zwei falsche Antworten (Möglichkeit, in die Schwierigkeitsstufe der Frage einzugreifen).
Mitschüler-Joker: Der Spieler sucht sich einen Mitschüler aus, mit
welchem er die Antwort abspricht.
Klassen-Joker: Die Klasse stimmt per Handzeichen über die vier
Antworten ab. Der Spieler sucht sich eine Antwort aus.
Lexikon-Joker: Der Spieler kann mithilfe eines Lexikons eine Frage
beantworten.
Über eine Abschätzfrage kann bestimmt werden, wer mit dem
Spiel beginnen darf. Beispiel: How many people live in Australia?
Antwort: about 19.5 million
Das Quiz kann mit der ganzen Klasse oder in Gruppen gespielt
werden. Ein Schüler der Klasse bzw. der Gruppe übernimmt die

Aufgabe des Quizmasters. Der Lehrer kann die Fragen natürlich
auch anders mischen und so den Schwierigkeitsgrad an seine
Klasse anpassen.
