Machines
True Production Machines. Our DK1100 single-spindle machines are fully-automatic
production pocket hole machines. Designed to run in the most demanding high-volume
production environments, they are built with true industrial quality motors that provide
the power, precision and reliability to get the job done. This series is available in three
models. Our most popular is the DK1100 FE electric version that runs on single phase
110V power, shown at right. We also offer the same performance in two entirely pneumatic powered models. The DK1100 TP is compact and can be built into a workbench as
shown below, while the DK1100 FP is identical to the DK1100 TP but housed in a freestanding cabinet.

Features of the Kreg Pocket Hole
Our drilled pocket hole has distinct advantages compared to a
routed pocket hole. First, our pocket hole is much shorter and
easier to hide on the backside of a workpiece. Secondly, in the
case where you cannot hide the hole, you can plug our roundsided hole with either a wood or plastic plug. A routed hole is
much larger, harder to hide, and is not pluggable.
Our pocket hole features a flat shoulder and perfectly centered guide hole made by our one-piece step bit. This flat step
allows the use of pocket hole screws with the washer style
head which works much better than a screw with a small head
in softer material such as particle board or pine. A routed
pocket hole does not work well with the washer style head because the curved bottom of a routed hole prevents the washer
style head from fully seating.

DK1100 FE
The screw in a routed pocket hole is angled at 6 degrees. At 6
degrees, it is harder to fully engage the screw with the driver
bit, which leads to the chance that the bit will "jump" out. At 6
degrees, the driver is also lying on the wood. At 15 degrees
there is plenty of room for a driver to clear the wood and to
fully engage the screw with the driver bit.
The only advantage claimed for a pocket hole using a 6 degree
angle is less joint shift. The key word is less. Less joint shift is
not the same as no joint shift. If you want a perfectly flush joint
you have to clamp when assembling whether the screw angle is
6 degrees or 15 degrees. When clamped, both screw angles produce perfectly flush joints.

Just Precision.
Cutting wood with accuracy is an important part of making sure
the project turns out just right. The inaccuracy of pencil marks
on a board can then be compounded by the need to follow that
mark precisely with the saw blade. Our Precision Trak and
Stop Kit is designed to take the guesswork out of cutting wood
to length.. A ½” self-adhesive tape is then applied to the top of
the fence. Finally, slide the Flipstop and Production Stop onto
the top of the trak and you have a precision cutting station that
eliminates the need for a tape measure and pencil. Simply place
the precision lens cursor over the board length desired, press the
board against the stop, and cut away! Precise, repeatable cuts
could not be any easier.

HOW DO I MAKE CONSTANT
RADIUS MOLDINGS (ARCHES)?
W&H molders are designed to “cut” the profile into millable
stock. For constant radius moldings you will need to make
radius stock and matching guides. A router or bandsaw can
be used to form the stock and guides.
I RUN A LOT OF STOCK, IS THIS
MOLDER A PRODUCTION MACHINE?
Our molders are capable of running large quantities of stock
day after day. Customers have referred to their molder as
a workhorse, because they have run thousands of feet of
molding through their molder.
WHY WOULD I WANT THE VARI-FEED
OVER THE CONSTANT FEED MACHINE?
The vari-feed gives you more versatility. Different species
of wood may cause problems with chip out, tear and other
similar problems. The ability to vary the feed rate will
minimize these problems.
CAN THE MOLDERS PERFORM STRAIGHT,
CONSTANT RADIUS & ELLIPTICAL
MOLDINGS? Yes. All three models can perform straight
and constant radius moldings. Add the elliptical jig to any
molder to produce elliptical moldings, such as an oval or
eyebrow shape. These shapes deviate from on radius to
another requiring the elliptical jig.

Our vari-feed kits give you the ability to vary the infeed roller speed from
0-19 fpm. The vari-feed kit will give you the opportunity to customize your
feed setting to the work you are doing. It allows you to reduce the load on
the motor while creating less stress on your stock. Higher rates of feed let
you quickly run small profiles and casing reliefs.
The vari-feed kits are designed to fit on older W&H models; W7, W7PF,
W7S, Original, 154 and 154CE Molders.

MULTI-PASS KIT
The longer springs and modified swing arm allow you to make
cuts up to 3/16” above the finish cut height. Now you can raise
the finish knife for a first cut on deep and/or wide profiles. This
eliminates the need for a separate first cut knife or a dado cut
on your saw, saving you time and money while providing you
with a safe operation.
The multi-pass kits are designed to fit on older W&H models;
W7, W7PF, W7S, Original and 154 molders.
Note: As of March 2005 our multi-pass system became a
standard feature on all molders. Not sure if your machine has

Our elliptical jig can be attached to any of our molders. Looking
for more than a standard arch cut? Attach the jig to produce
elliptical moldings of architectural sizes to span doors and
windows. Our jig is made with high grade steel, black oxided and

FEED ROLL KITS
Our polyurethane feed roll kits are available in “soft” 60 durometer
and a “durable” 70 durometer. The yellow feed roll kit is commonly
used for single pass applications. The green feed roll kit is
commonly used for multiple pass applications. Choose the
durometer that best fits your application use.
The kit includes 2 rollers, 4 axles to hold the rolls in and 1 tube of
thread locker.

GS-2-1 GUIDE SYSTEM
The GS-2-1 guide system increases your working surface and
protects knives that may cut below stock thickness. Profiles such
as crown bottoms, half rounds, quarter rounds and screen molds
may cut below stock thickness.
The GS-2-1 guide system includes a 22” long, ½” thick HDPE, high
density polyethylene millable material. The material is extremely
tough and wear resistant with a low friction surface. The sub plate
attaches directly to the bed of the molder with two screws. A flex
guide, straight guide, adjusting handles and hardware are also
included. The flex guide is beveled providing a wide entry for stock.
NOTE: Molder beds that do not have screw holes to attach the GS2-1 will need to be modified. Item # GS-02 has instructions and the
hardware needed to drill holes in the molder bed.

STAND (Stationary)
Our molder stand is constructed from all steel and has been
designed for easy assembly. Based on customer feed back
the stand was redesigned in 2009 to be lighter, higher and
more compact without sacrificing the strength and durability of
our former stand. A motor lock was also added to prevent any
unwanted movement while running stock. The angled leg design
and padded levelers keep it secure to the floor for stability.
NOTE: If purchasing a stand to go with your existing molder, a
45” Powertwist Belt is required.

SHAPER HEADS

Now you can use your Williams & Hussey knives on a molder or
shaper using one of these heads. Holes in knives must be able
