Carpet Sign is specialized in the manufacture of high-quality, tufted carpets, with pile lengths varying
from 16 to 60 mm. Production takes place in Asten [the Netherlands] by a team of around 30 skilled
and motivated people. The factory emanates knowledge and is a unique mix of high-tech machinery
and traditional methods. The CNC and CAD CAM controlled robots make precision work possible
and moreover offer endless size and shape possibilities. Square, rectangle, circle, oval and even
organic forms are possible. The ‘master’s hand’ however remains essential: the assessment of the
colours by the paint master and the finished product by the quality inspector underscore, along

with many other phases along the way, the attention to product and quality.

Carpet Sign ist ein Fachbetrieb für die Fertigung hochwertiger, getufteter Teppiche mit Florhöhen
zwischen 16 und 60 mm. Für die Herstellung steht ein Team aus gut 30 fachkundigen und
motivierten Mitarbeitern in Asten [NL] bereit. Die Fabrik strahlt Kompetenz aus und in ihr sind eine
einmalige Mischung aus Hightech-Maschinen und handwerklichen Fertigungsvorgängen vereint.
CNC- und CAD CAM gesteuerte Roboter ermöglichen sehr genaues Arbeiten und eröffnen vor allem
unbeschränkte Möglichkeiten in punkto Formgebung: Quadratische, rechteckige, kreisförmige oder
elliptische und sogar organische Formen. Die ‘Meisterhand’ bleibt indes unentbehrlich: die
Beurteilung der Farben durch den Färbermeister und die Kontrolle der Endprodukte durch den
Qualitätsprüfer unterstreichen - neben zahlreichen Zwischenphasen - die Sorgfalt, die jedem unserer
Produkte und seiner Qualität angedeiht.

The wide range is characterized by richness and timelessness with a dash of trendy; yet always part
of a highly aesthetic bigger picture. Depending on the chosen colour, structure and pile length, the
collection fits both modern and classic interiors. A clear hallmark of Carpet Sign is the use of fine
[worsted-] yarn; this allows for the use of a large quantity of colours, which results in a nuanced
and splendid image.
Carpet Sign mostly uses yarn of organic origin, such as various types of wool from New Zealand,
but also linen, cotton and viscose. Yarns with beautiful and pleasant characteristics, which, either
in their entirety or as effect yarn deliver extraordinary results. For its outdoor carpet ‘Atlantique’
on the other hand, Carpet Sign uses synthetic yarn that meet the highest quality demands.
The R&D [research and development] team is constantly looking for new and improved production
methods, basic or effect yarns and refinement methods (particularizing of yarns), which continue to

Die umfassende Kollektion ist durch Reichhaltigkeit und Zeitlosigkeit gekennzeichnet, wobei wir
jedoch immer auch neuen Trends gegenüber aufgeschlossen sind und jedes Produkt in das jeweils
ästhetisch anspruchsvolle Gesamtbild passen muss. Je nach gewählter Farbe, Struktur und Florhöhe
bietet die Kollektion Lösungen für sowohl moderne als auch klassische Einrichtungen.
Kennzeichnend für Carpet Sign ist die Verwendung feiner [Kamm-]Garne; hierdurch kann eine breite
Farbpalette zur Anwendung kommen, wodurch sehr nuancierte und glanzvolle Ergebnisse erzielt
werden können.
Carpet Sign verarbeitet hauptsächlich Garne natürlicher Herkunft wie verschiedene Sorten
neuseeländischer Wolle, aber auch Leinen, Baumwolle und Viskose. Garne mit wunderbaren und
zugleich angenehmen Eigenschaften, die als Ganzes oder als Effektgarn besondere Resultate
herbeiführen. Für seinen einzigartigen Außenteppich ‘Atlantique’ verwendet Carpet Sign jedoch
Synthetikgarne, die hochstehenden Qualitätsanforderungen genügen.

A very important part of Carpet Sign is the so-called ‘Carte Blanche’ option. In addition to its standard
collection, Carpet Sign gives you ‘Carte Blanche’ to modify any existing colour or to put together
an entirely new colour. A ‘Carte Blanche-module’ is available at our dealers for this purpose. This
box contains all yarn types and colours of the Carpet Sign collection. By entering the colours’ number
from this box or by sending in a curtain or furniture material sample, a tile or a piece of wooden
floor and a description of the desired atmosphere, the Carpet Sign Studio will generate a proposal.
This ensures that your carpet is always in perfect harmony with your interior.
The Carpet Sign studio is an institution, and one that keeps moving forward. In order to ‘translate’
preferred colours into creative proposals, the Carpet Sign Studio attempts to get under the skin of
its dealers; by visiting trade fairs and fabric data banks but also by keeping constant contact with
various interior decoration manufacturers in order to gain a joint perspective. It attends trend sessions,
reads trade literature and immerses itself in market information: all geared toward the continual

Ein sehr wichtiger Pfeiler bei Carpet Sign ist die so genannte ‘Carte Blanche’-Möglichkeit. Neben
seiner Standard-Kollektion gibt Carpet Sign Ihnen ‘Carte Blanche’, um eine vorhandene Farbe anzupassen oder eine neue Farbe zusammenzustellen. Hierfür steht bei unseren Händlern ein ‘Carte
Blanche-Modul’ bereit. Diese Box enthält alle Garntypen- und Farben der Kollektion von Carpet Sign. Durch Angabe der Farbnummern aus dieser Box oder anhand der Einsendung eines Gardinenoder Möbelbezugmusters, einer Fliese oder eines Stückes des Holzbodens sowie einer
Beschreibung der gewünschten Wohnatmosphäre erarbeitet das Studio von Carpet Sign einen
Lösungsvorschlag. Auf diese Weise wird sichergestellt, dass der Teppichboden oder die Brücke
immer in Einklang mit der jeweiligen Einrichtung gewählt wird.
Das Studio von Carpet Sign ist ein Begriff. Und ständig in Bewegung. Um die Wunschfarben seiner
Kunden in kreative Vorschläge zu ‘übersetzen’, versucht das Studio von Carpet Sign sich in die
Lage seiner Händler zu versetzen. Es besucht zudem [Fach]Messen und Materialdatenbanken und
unterhält zwecks Definition gemeinsamer Perspektiven auch Kontakte zu verschiedenen
Einrichtungshäusern. Es ist auf Trendtreffen zugegen, verfolgt die Fachliteratur und ist über die
