The Fiskebekk Chalets are devided in 4 pricegroups:
Type A : Die Fiskebekk-Ferienhäuser/cottages liegen am Fiskebekk (=Fischbach) 1 km
von Straumen entfernt und haben die Namen/are located about 1 km from Straumen
and have the names:
- “Auren” (Forelle/Trout), “Beveren” (Biber/Beaver), “Elgen” (Elch/Elk-Moose),
“Haren” (Hase/Hare) und/and “Måren” (Marder/Marten)
- “Halvorsbu” liegt sehr idyllisch am See “Persvatn” 550 m ü. N. N., 8 km Autoweg
vom Hof und 4 km Wanderweg vom Hof entfern/”Halvorsbu” is a beautifully situated
cabin next to a lake, “Persvatn” 550 m above sea level, 8 km by road from the farm,
or 4 km by a woodland track. The cabin is a popular destination for our guests who
enjoy walking.
Type B: Storfamilehytta. Zwischen dem See Vråvatn und dem Hof liegt das grosse
Familienferienhaus “Storfamiliehytta”/The large chalet - situated between the
farmyard and Lake Vråvatn.
Der Hof Straumen liegt zwischen den Seen „Vråvatn“ und „Nisser“. Der 750 ha große
Besitz, mit seinem langen Strand, erstreckt sich vom See, 250 m ü. N. N., bis in die Berge
beim Roholtfjell, 1018 m ü. N. N. Hier betreiben wir Landwirtschaft, Waldwirtschaft und
Ferienhäuser. Hof und Ferienhäuser liegen 3 km von der kleinen Ortschaft Vrådal entfernt.
Hier finden Sie Lebensmittelgeschäft, Geldautomat, Tankstelle, Souvenirgeschäft und Hotel.
Our property consists of 750 hectares of land with a long shoreline. The area stretches
from 250 meters above sea level, at the lake side, up to Roholt mountain, 1018 meters
above sea level. Apart from the farm with its buildings and fields, the property includes dry,
heather-covered areas, pine woodland, mountains, hills and small lakes. The farm and the
chalets are situated approx. 3 km from the centre of Vrådal. Here you will find shops, cash
dispenser, petrol station and hotel.

TELEMARK KANAL Fahren Sie mit dem
Touristenboot, “Victoria” auf dem Telemark
Kanal. Auch eine Bootsfahrt auf die Insel
Nisser mit dem Veteranenschiff “Fram” ist
ein Erlebnis.

BIBER UND ELCHE Die Biber in unseren

Beaver and elk (moose) The beaver, the
biggest rodent in Europe and the elk might be
seen in our property. Our guests, children as
well as grown-ups are fascinated by the sight
of these animals.

Swimming Approx. 100 meters from the
chalets you will find small sandy beaches and
several slopes of naked rock where you can
enjoy swimming and sunbathing.

Die Skianlage ist etwa /The skiing centre is
ca 2 km von/from Straumen und/and 3 km
von /from Fiskebekk entfernt. Sessellift für
8 Personen /Chairlift for 8, 4 Skilifte und 2
”Skibande”. Slalompisten verschiedener
Länge und Schwierigkeitsgrade, Skischule,
Skiverleih. Kunstschneeanlage. Café.
SKILOIPEN Sie können Ihre Skier vor dem
Ferienhaus anschnallen und auf präparierten
Wegen laufen. In Vrådal erwartet Sie ein Netz
von Loipen. Bei Straumen finden Anfänger
leichte Übungshügel.

Direkt auf dem Hof ist auch die “Midtstoga” gelegen/
“Midtstoga“ is located at the farmyard.
Type D: Nord-stoga
Direkt auf dem Hof ist auch eine Ferienwohnungen eingerichtet/
Apartment in the barn in the farmyard itself.

WANDERUNGEN Kiefernwälder, Waldwege
und Wanderpfäde laden zu Wanderungen ein,
die auch für Geologie-Interessierte interessant sind. Wanderkarten sind erhältlich.
Walk Dry, heather covered areas, pinewoods, shores, woodland paths and marked
walks provide superb areas for shorter or
longer walks. Some so called Nordic Walking
routes.
BEEREN UND PILZE Waldbeeren und Pilze
gibt es normalerweise reichlich bei uns in
Herbst.
Berry- and mushroom picking
Usually, there are lots of wild berries and
mushrooms during the autumn.
SCHLEUSEN In Vrådal liegen zwei
Schleusen, die die Gewässer Vråvatn und
Nisser miteinander verbinden. Die Schleuse
Storstraum liegt bei unserem Hof Straumen.
Locks There are two locks in Vrådal,
connecting lakes Vråvatn and Nisser. One
of these locks, Storstraum lock, is situated
beside our farm.
RUDERBOOTE Die Gäste können ein
Ruderboot benutzen, das im Mietpreis des
Ferienhausen enthalten ist. Tretboot und Kanu
sind auch zugänglich. Wir vermieten auch
Kajaks mit Paddeln.
Rowing boats The use of a rowing boat is
included. Paddling boat and a canoe are also
available. You may also rent rent sea kayaks
from us.
GEOLOGIE Telemark ist eine der ältesten
Gruben distrikte Norwegens mit bedeutender

shore or from the boat. A fishing permit is
required for lakes with trout, char, gwyniad
and perch. With permission from us you
may fish with net at our property in Vråvatn.
