The location of the IBC at the gateway between the central EU and the EU region of the future helps domiciled
companies to enter this new and important development axis. The capital cities of Slovenia (Ljubljana, 195 km) and
Croatia (Zagreb, 175 km) are scarcely 2 hours by car from the IBC.

With its location directly on the Pyhrn motorway (A9), just a few kilometres from the Graz-West junction (A2) and
its immediate proximity to the Graz Thalerhof airport, the IBC offers great transport connections for both commuter
and long-distance travel.
In addition, the Werndorf goods terminal connects the greater Graz area, the region of Maribor and southeast

Lose yourself in sport on the office doorstep
The Schwarzl Freizeitzentrum (SFZ) offers numerous
sport and recreational activities. As well as the
50-hectare bathing lake, including water ski lift,
diving, sailing and surf school, a running track and
mountain bike trail invite you to indulge in physical
activity to make you completely “fit for business”.
Spiritual potential in the state capital
The state capital of Graz has four universities (the
Karl-Franzens University, the medical university,
the university of technology and the university of
music and dramatic arts) and two universities of
applied science (Joanneum and Campus02) offering
a multitude of courses. In addition, there is a highly
innovative research and development landscape
as a result of the Joanneum Research centre and

spas with various state-of-the-art spa and relaxation
areas.

Since the first office building was constructed in 2000, the IBC has been constantly developing into a complex
