Along with Gniezno, Poznań was the first capital of Poland. Until this day Poznań remains the capital and the largest city
of Greater Poland – one of the main regions of the country. The city is located on Europe’s most important route which
connects Moscow and Warsaw with Berlin and Paris. There are marvelous monuments awaiting you in Poznań, representing
a vast array of styles – from Romanism to art nouveau. Every part of Poznań has its specific character.

Międzynarodowe Targi Poznańskie (MTP) są liderem polskiego rynku targowego i trzecim co do wielkości
organizatorem targów w Europie Środkowo-Wschodniej. Co roku w ponad 60 wydarzeniach targowych organizowanych
na terenie poznańskich targów bierze udział około 11,5 tys. wystawców, w tym około 3 tys. firm zagranicznych z 60 krajów
świata. W ubiegłym roku targowe imprezy odwiedziło 300 tys. zwiedzających z całego świata.
Targi dysponują doskonałym zapleczem jeśli chodzi o tereny wystawiennicze, posiadają 16 klimatyzowanych pawilonów
o wysokim standardzie i dużej powierzchni wystawienniczej (ponad 110 tys. m2 w halach wystawienniczych i prawie
35 tys. m2 terenu otwartego). MTP to także organizator takich wydarzeń jak konferencje, kongresy, seminaria, które odbywają
się w Centrum Kongresowym Poznań Targi. Tereny MTP znajdują się w samym centrum miasta w bezpośrednim sąsiedztwie
dworca kolejowego, dworca autobusowego, licznych hoteli (w tym między innymi hotelu Sheraton, hotelu Mercure, hotelu
Novotel i innych). Odległość do portu lotniczego Ławica wynosi niespełna 6 km.
The Poznań International Fair (MTP) is the leader on the Polish fair market and the third biggest fair organizer
in Middle-Eastern Europe. Annually about 11.5 thousand exhibitors including about 3 thousand foreign companies from
60 countries of the world take place in over 60 fair events organized on the Trade Center grounds. Last year the fair events
were visited by over 300 thousand visitors from around the world.
The Trade Center has a great infrastructure when it comes to exhibition space, it comprises 16 air conditioned pavilions with
a high standard and large area (over 110 thousand square meters in exhibition halls and almost 35 thousand square meters
of open space). MTP is also an organizer of such events, like conferences, congresses, seminaries which take place in the
Poznań Fair Congress Center. The MTP grounds are located in the very center of the city in the immediate vicinity of the train
station, bus station, many hotels (including the Sheraton, the Mercure Hotel, the Novotel and others). The distance from the
Ławica airport is less than 6 km.
Internationale Posner Messe (MTP) ist ein Leader auf dem polnischen Messemarkt und der dritte - in Bezug auf die
Größe – Messeveranstalter im Ost- und Mitteleuropa. Jedes Jahr an über 60 Messeveranstaltungen nehmen 11,5 Tausend
Aussteller teil, darunter ca. 3 000 ausländische Firmen aus 60 Ländern, aus der ganzen Welt. Im letzten Jahr besuchten die
Messeausstellungen über 300 000 Gäste aus der ganzen Welt.
Die Posner Internationale Messe hat eine hervorragende Infrastruktur in Bezug auf das Ausstellungsgelände. Zur Verfügung
stehen 16 Ausstellungshallen mit Klimaanlage und von großer Ausstellungsfläche (über
110 000 m2 in Ausstellungshallen und fast 35 000 m2 im dem freien Gelände).
MTP veranstaltet auch Konferenzen, Kongresse, Seminare, die im Kongresszentrum
Posen Messe (Centrum Kongresowe Poznań Targi) stattfinden.
MTP-Gelände befindet sich im Centrum der Stadt, gleich beim Haupt- und Busbahnhof, in der Nähe von zahlreichen Hotels wie Sheraton, Mercure, Novotel und andere).
Die Entfernung vom Ławica - Flughafen beträgt weniger als 6 km.

et fascinante où l’histoire s’entremêle fantastiquement avec la modernité.
Poznań avec Gniezno, était la première capitale de la Pologne. Jusqu’à
aujourd’hui Poznań est la capitale et la plus grande ville de la Grande
Pologne- l’une des plus importante région du pays. La ville est située sur la
plus importante route de l’Europe qui lie Moscou et Varsovie avec Berlin
et Paris. De magnifiques monuments représentant un large éventail
de styles à partir du romantisme jusqu’à l’art nouveau vous attendent
à Poznań. Chaque quartier de Poznań a son propre caractère.
Depuis des dizaines de siècles notre ville est un lieu de la coexistence des
Polonais avec des représentants d’autres nations. Elle est habitée par des
Allemands, des Juifs, des Italiens, des Grècs, des Ecossais, des Hongrois.
La tolérence et l’utilitarisme dans la vie sont des qualités de nombreuses
générations des habitants de Poznań.
Poznań contemporain est une métropole très animée, une excellente ville

Les foires Internationales à Poznań (MTP) sont des leaders du marché polonais et en prenant en considération
l’importence- le troisième organisateur des foires en Europe Centrale/Est. Au cours de plus de 60 foires organisées sur les terrains
des foires à Poznań quelque 11,5 milles d’exposants dont environ 3 milles d’entreprises étrangères de 60 pays y participent
chaque année. Les foires disposent de parfaits terrains d’exposition. Elles possèdent 16 pavillons climatisés d’un haut standard et
d’une grande surface d’exposition ( plus de 11 000 m2 dans des halles d’expositions et presque 35 000 m2 de terrain ouvert).
MTP est aussi un organisateur de conférences, de congrès, de séminaires qui se déroulent dans le Centre du Congrès à Poznań.
Les terrains de MTP se trouvent au centre de la ville et à proximité de la gare des trains et de la gare routière et de nombreux
hôtels ( entre autres l’hôtel Sheraton, l’hôtel Mercure, l’hôtel Novotel et d’autres). La distance jusqu’à l’aéroport est de 6 km.

The Polish Carrier-Pigeon Breeders Association is holding the 32nd Carrier- Pigeon Olympics in Poznań on
28–30 January 2011.
The Olympics are always an unusual experience for enthusiasts of this sport from all over the world. We have
a sincere wish to properly fulfil this honourable duty. We will take every effort to ensure that the guests of our
Olympics will remember us as efficient organizers and Poland as a hospitable and pleasant country.
We look forward to meeting our fellow pigeon racing fans from all continents in Poznań.

XXXII. Olympics of Pigeons in Poznań
STANDARD – in two years (2009 and 2010) a pigeon must have achieved ranked positions in 20% (1/5) of at least 2500 kilometers,
at least 2000 kilometers in case of a dove in races of 100 kilometers a longer.
Thereof, in 2010 a pigeon is required to have flown at least 750 km and a dove 600 km.
