Die Stadt Karlsruhe hat zur Reduzierung der Feinstaubbelastung aufgrund europa- und bundesrechtlicher Vorschriften
einen Luftreinhalte- und Aktionsplan beschlossen. Dieser
schreibt vor, dass ab 1. Januar 2009 nur noch Kraftfahrzeuge
mit moderner Abgastechnik in eine straßengenau abgegrenzte
Umweltzone einfahren dürfen. Diese Fahrzeuge müssen mit
einer sog. Feinstaubplakette gekennzeichnet sein, die an der
Windschutzscheibe anzubringen ist. Fahrer von Fahrzeugen
ohne Plakette müssen mit einem Bußgeld von 40,00 € und
einem Punkt in der Flensburger Verkehrssünderkartei rechnen.
On January 1, 2009 the city of Karlsruhe implemented a clean
air action plan to reduce the level of particulates in the city’s air.
Based on terms laid down in German and EU law, the scheme
only allows motor vehicles equipped with certified emissions
control devices to enter a clearly defined part of the city. All
vehicles in this clean air zone must display a sticker on their
windshield to show that they are permitted to be there. Drivers
of vehicles without this sticker must pay a fine of €40 and will
receive one point on their driving record.
Sollten sie in die Umweltzone einfahren müssen, wird daher
empfohlen, eine Plakette bei einer der Ausgabestellen zu
kaufen (KFZ-Zulassungsstellen, TÜV, DEKRA, GTÜ, AUKFZ-Werkstätten, Bürgerdienste). Dazu ist die Vorlage des
KFZ-Scheins oder der Zulassungsbescheinigung nötig. Bei
der Stadt Karlsruhe ist die Plakettenbestellung auch online
möglich.

In the interest of smooth performance of the event we request you to comply
with the details listed below. You will thus contribute not inconsiderably to
making the event a success, also from an organizational viewpoint. We also
request compliance with the “Special participation conditions” which you
have already received with the registration documents. These directives
do not replace the generally recognized rules of engineering as well as the
industrial safety and accident prevention regulations or legal provisions.

2. Abholung von Waren durch Besucher:
Verkaufte Exponate, die zur Ausstattung des Standes gehören, dürfen
nur am letzten Ausstellungstag und nicht vor Veranstaltungsende abgegeben werden. Bei Abholung von Waren mit einem Fahrzeug ist die
Einfahrt erst nach Veranstaltungsende möglich. Bitte stellen Sie sicher,
dass Ihr Personal sowie die Kunden darüber richtig informiert werden.
3. Allgemeine Ordnung:
Um Verkehrsstockungen beim An- und Abtransport des Ausstellungsgutes zu vermeiden, bitten wir Sie, die Fahrzeuge sofort zu entladen
und von den Hallen sowie Zufahrtswegen zu entfernen. Bitte parken Sie
Ihre Fahrzeuge auf den ausgeschilderten Parkplätzen.
Beachten Sie bitte die Anweisungen unseres Personals und der Polizei.
Im Übrigen gelten auf dem gesamten Messegelände die Bestimmungen
der Straßen-Verkehrsordnung (StVO).

5. Auftragsbestätigungen Bestellformulare:
Eine Auftragsbestätigung erfolgt nicht schriftlich. Schriftverkehr wird
nur geführt, wenn einzelne Punkte durch Anschluss- oder Lieferbedingungen nicht klargestellt sind. Der Vertrag kommt durch Auftragserfüllung zustande.
6. Ausstellerausweise:
Jeder Aussteller erhält ausreichend Ausstellerausweise. Die Ausweise
sind nicht übertragbar. Für Ihre Bestellung wechseln Sie bitte zur Leistungsübersicht.
7. Behördliche Genehmigungen:
Der Aussteller ist für alle erforderlichen Genehmigungen im Zusammenhang mit seiner Veranstaltungsbeteiligung selbst verantwortlich. Die
geltenden gewerberechtlichen oder polizeilichen Vorschriften müssen
eingehalten werden. Bestehende Zweifel sind mit den zuständigen Behörden und, soweit es sich um gewerberechtliche Vorschriften handelt,
beim Gewerbeaufsichtsamt zu klären.
8. Betriebseinrichtungen, Maschinen, Apparate:
Diese Geräte müssen den amtlichen und sonst gültigen Vorschriften
entsprechen. Diesbezügliche Nachweise sind an den Ständen bereitzuhalten.

10. Brandschutzmaßnahmen und feuersicherheitstechnische Bestimmungen:
10.1Die städtische Branddirektion gibt unter Hinweis auf alle Feuersicherheitsbestimmungen auszugsweise die für die Aussteller
wichtigsten Brandverhütungsmaßnahmen bekannt. Den Ausstellern wird deshalb empfohlen, sich in allen feuerschutztechnischen
Zweifelsfällen rechtzeitig mit der Branddirektion Karlsruhe

1. Serving prepared food and drink:
Serving food and drink for immediate consumption requires permission
according to §12 of the law governing restaurants. The required

2. Collecting goods by visitors:
Sold exhibits, which belong to the equipment of the stand, may be
handed out only on the last exhibition day and not before the end of the
event. If goods are collected with a vehicle, entry is possible only after
the end of the event. Please make sure that your personnel as well as
the customers are correctly informed about this.
3. General order:
To avoid traffic congestion when delivering and removing the exhibition
goods, we request you to unload the vehicle immediately and to remove
it from the halls as well as access roads. Please park your vehicles on
the signposted parking places.
Please observe the instructions of our personnel and of the police.
Generally the provisions of the traffic regulations (StVO) apply on the
entire exhibition grounds.

5. Order confirmations and order forms:
There is no order confirmation. Correspondence is conducted only if
individual points are not clarified by joining or delivery conditions. The
contract comes into effect by fulfilment of the order.
6. Exhibitor ID cards:
Each exhibitor will receive enough ID cards. These ID cards are not
transferable. Please switch to the service listing for your order.
7. Official approvals:
The exhibitor itself is responsible for all required approvals in
connection with his participation in the event. The applicable trade law
or police regulations must be complied with. Any doubts that exist must
be clarified with the responsible authorities and, insofar as it is a trade
law regulation, with the trade supervisory office.
8. Equipment, machines, apparatus:
These devices must correspond with the official and otherwise valid
regulations. Proofs in this connection must be kept available at the
stands.

10. Fire protection measures and fire safety provisions:
10.1The municipal fire direction notifies in parts the most important fire
prevention measures for the exhibitors under reference to all fire
safety regulations. The exhibitors are therefore recommended in
all cases of doubt regarding fire protection to contact in good time

Trade supervisory and public affairs authorities, police and
fire brigade as well as authorized persons of the management
are entitled to give instructions within the scope of the safety
regulations. Their representatives must be granted access at any
time to the safety devices and technical devices.
Gewerbeaufsichts- und Ordnungsbehörden, Polizei und Feuerwehr sowie Beauftragte der Geschäftsleitung sind berechtigt,

Technical directives
Information from A - Z
Im Interesse einer reibungslosen Durchführung der Veranstaltung bitten wir
Sie um Beachtung der nachstehenden Einzelheiten. Sie werden damit nicht
unerheblich dazu beitragen, die Veranstaltung, auch aus organisatorischer
Sicht, zu einem Erfolg werden zu lassen. Wir bitten auch um Beachtung der
„Besonderen Teilnahmebedingungen“, die Ihnen bereits mit den Anmeldeunterlagen zugegangen sind. Diese Richtlinien ersetzen nicht die allgemein
anerkannten Regeln der Technik sowie die Arbeitsschutz- und Unfallverhütungs-Vorschriften oder gesetzliche Bestimmungen.

Informationen von A – Z
10.3Ausgänge, Gänge: Sämtliche Ausgänge und Laufgänge, die in
der Halle planmäßig festgehalten sind, müssen in voller Breite freigehalten werden. Die Ausgänge sind während der Veranstaltung
unversperrt zu halten, sie dürfen nicht verhängt oder sonst unkenntlich gemacht werden. Informationsstände oder Tische dürfen
nicht an Zu- bzw. Ausgängen oder Treppenräumen aufgestellt
werden.
10.4Feuerlöscher, Wandhydranten, Feuermelder: Die in der Halle
vorhandenen Feuerlöscher, Wandhydranten und Druckknopfmelder dürfen unter keinen Umständen verbaut oder sonstwie
unzugänglich gemacht werden. Die Druckschläuche der Hydranten
dürfen nicht für Auffüllzwecke verwendet werden (Behälter, Becken
usw.)
10.5Standgestaltung: Die Standgestaltung ist so vorzunehmen, dass
kein schwer kontrollierbarer Winkel entsteht.
10.6Einsatz von Gasen: Der Einsatz von Gasen ist der FairFair
GmbH als der Messeleitung und der Karlsruher Messe- und Kongress GmbH als dem Halleninhaber rechtzeitig schriftlich mitzuteilen. Dabei ist anzugeben, welche Gase für welchen Verwendungszweck zum Einsatz kommen. Die Menge der am Stand gelagerten
Gase soll auf ein Minimum beschränkt werden. Leere Gasflaschen
sind vom Aussteller wieder mitzunehmen. Die Vorschriften für den
sicheren Umgang mit den entsprechenden Gasen sind in jedem
Fall einzuhalten.
Zu beachten sind:
Verordnung über brennbare Flüssigkeiten (VbF)
Technische Regeln brennbarer Flüssigkeiten (TRbF)
Druckbehälterverordnung (DruckbehV)
Technische Regeln Druckbehälter (TRB)
Technische Regeln Druckgase (TRG)
jeweils in der derzeit gültigen Fassung.
Kraftstoffbehälter an Ausstellungsstücken, die in der Halle aufgestellt werden, müssen verschlossen sein.
10.7Dekorationen: Sämtliche für Dekorationszwecke verwendeten
Materialien müssen schwer entflammbar und nach DIN 4102
imprägniert sein. Die Eigenschaft „schwer entflammbar“ kann
nachträglich nur bei einem Teil dieser Stoffe mit einem Flammschutzmittel erreicht werden. Die verwendeten Flammschutzmittel müssen amtlich zugelassen sein. Die Bestätigung über die
Schwerentflammbarkeit bzw. über die vorschriftsmäßig durchgeführte Imprägnierung ist zur jederzeitigen Einsichtnahme an den
Ständen bereitzuhalten.

Das Spritzen mit Nitrofarben ist im gesamten Bereich der
Ausstellungshallen sowohl aus gesundheitlichen, als auch aus
feuerpolizeilichen Gründen generell verboten.
Abgeschnittene Bäume und Pflanzen dürfen nur in grünem
Zustand zu Dekorationszwecken verwendet werden. Wenn während der Dauer der Ausstellung festgestellt wird, dass Bäume und
Pflanzen austrocknen und dadurch leichter entflammbar werden,
so sind sie zu entfernen. Bäume müssen bis zu etwa 50 cm über
dem Boden astfrei sein. Torf ist stets feucht zu halten (Entzündungsgefahr durch Tabakwaren).
Größere Mengen Styropor oder andere im Brandfall stark rußende Kunststoffe dürfen nur mit Zustimmung der Branddirektion
verwendet werden.
10.3Exits, passage ways: All exits and passage ways which are
laid out according to plan in the hall must be kept free in their full
width. The exits shall be kept unlocked during the event, they may
not be covered by hangings or otherwise made unrecognizable.
Information stands or desks may not be set up at entrances or
exits or in staircases.
10.4Fire extinguishers, wall hydrants, fire alarms: The fire
extinguishers, wall hydrants and pushbutton alarms present in the
hall may under no circumstances be obstructed or otherwise made
inaccessible. The pressure hoses of the hydrants may not be used
for filling purposes (tanks, basins etc.)
10.5Stand design: The stand shall be designed so that no corners
difficult to control arise.
10.6Use of gas: The intention to use gases must be communicated
in writing and in good time to FairFair GmbH in its capacity as
the organisers of the fair and to Karlsruher Messe- und Kongress
GmbH in its capacity as the operator of the exhibition centre. The
communication must specify which gases are to be used for what
purpose. The amount of gas stored at the stand is to be kept to a
minimum. It is the responsibility of the exhibitor to remove empty
gas cylinders at the end of the fair. The applicable regulations
covering the safe handling of the respective gases must be
complied with in all cases.

Technical rules for pressure gases (TRG) in
each case in the currently valid version.
Fuel tanks on exhibits which are set up in the hall must be closed.
10.7Decorations: All materials used for decoration purposes must
be flame-retardant and impregnated according to DIN 4102. The
property “flame-retardant” can be achieved with a flame protection
agent only for a part of these materials. The used flame protection
agent must be officially approved. The confirmation of the flameretardant properties or the impregnation performed according to
regulations must be kept at the stands for inspection at any time.

Spraying with nitrocellulose lacquers is forbidden in the
entire area of the exhibition halls both for health and for fire police
reasons.
Cut trees and plants may be used for decoration purposes
only in a green condition. If it is found during the duration of the
exhibition that trees and plants dry out and in this way are more
easily inflammable, then they must be removed. Trees must be
free of branches up to around 50 cm above the floor. Peat must be

14. Elektrische Installationen:
Anschlüsse an das bestehende Versorgungsnetz dürfen nur von dem
zuständigen Elektriker vorgenommen werden. Es empfiehlt sich, auch
für Arbeiten innerhalb des Standes diese Firma zu beauftragen. Nutzen
Sie bitte zur Einreichung Ihrer gewünschten Anschlüsse das Bestellformular der Servicemappe.
Falls Sie wegen der Elektroarbeiten noch besondere Absprachen treffen
wollen, bitten wir um Rücksprache.
14. Electrical installations:
Connections to the existing supply mains may be made only by the
responsible electrician. It is recommended that this company is also
authorized for work inside the stand. Please use the order form of the
service folder for applying for the connections you want.

15. Fahrzeuge auf dem Messegelände:
Das Befahren des Messegeländes ist sowohl während der Auf- und
Abbauzeiten als auch während der Veranstaltung selbst nur gegen
eine Kaution von € 50,00 gestattet. Eine vorherige Zustimmung der
Messeleitung ist erforderlich, wenn das Messegelände während der
Veranstaltung befahren werden muss.
Gegen Hinterlegung der Kaution bestehen Beschickungsmöglichkeiten
von Veranstaltungen für:
PKW von 2 Stunden
Kombi-Fahrzeuge von 3 Stunden
LKW von 5 Stunden
Der hinterlegte Betrag verfällt, wenn die Beschickungszeit überschritten
wird. Die Fahrzeuge müssen nach dem Entladen sofort das Messegelände verlassen.
Wir bitten um Ihr Verständnis für diese, im Interesse eines geordneten
Fahrzeugverkehrs und Veranstaltungsablaufs, notwendige Maßnahme.
Um Ihrem Aufbau- und Standpersonal die Orientierung zu erleichtern,
nutzen Sie bitte unsere Anfahrtsskizze / Geländeübersicht

16. Firmierung:
Name und Anschrift des Ausstellers müssen in einer von jedermann
erkennbaren Weise und Größe am Stand angebracht sein.

Das gewerbsmäßige Fotografieren und Filmen auf dem Messegelände
ist nur dem von der FairFair GmbH zugelassenen Fotografen erlaubt.

15. Vehicles on the exhibition grounds:
Driving vehicles on the exhibition grounds is permitted both during the
construction and dismantling times and also during the event itself only
against a deposit of € 50.00. Previous agreement of the exhibition
management is required if vehicles should be driven on the exhibition
ground during the event.
It is possible to make supplies for events by making a deposit for:

The amount deposited lapses if the supply time is exceeded. The
vehicles must leave the exhibition grounds immediately after unloading.

17. Photographic and film exposures:

allowed only by the photographers approved by the FairFair GmbH

The FairFair GmbH is entitled to use exposures of every type for
general use or its own publications. For this purpose the exhibitors

18. GEMA:
You as exhibitor must contact the GEMA in the following cases: in the

presentations of sound films or videos with music or if you use an AV or

28. Müllentsorgung / -trennung:
Zur umweltgerechten Entsorgung der, während der Veranstaltung sowie
beim Auf- und Abbau anfallenden Abfälle bitten wir die Aussteller, die
Abfälle nach Materialien in die hierfür zur Verfügung stehenden Sammelcontainer zu werfen. Wir weisen Sie darauf hin, dass wir die Abfälle,
die in einem „üblichen Maß“ anfallen, entsorgen. Ein unverhältnismäßig
hohes Abfallvolumen entsorgen wir gegen Gebühr. Bei der Standgestaltung und -versorgung sollten nach dem Prinzip der Abfallvermeidung
Mehrweg-Materialien zum Einsatz kommen.
Aussteller, die Speisen und Getränke zum sofortigen Verzehr anbieten,
müssen spülbares Mehrweggeschirr und -besteck, Gläser sowie Mehrwegtischdecken verwenden. Der Einsatz von Kunststoffen (auch recyclebar) sowie Pappgeschirr (auch kompostierbar unbeschichtet) ist nicht
gestattet. Ausschank aus Dosen oder Einwegflaschen ist verboten. Bei
Verstoß behält sich die KMK entsprechende Sanktionen bis hin zum Widerruf der Zulassung zur Messe vor. Von der Verwendung von eßbarem
Geschirr bitten wir wegen des hohen Produktionsaufwands abzusehen.
Außerdem sind Wegwerflebensmittel aus ethischen Gründen nicht zu
vertreten, da sie oft über den Abfall entsorgt werden. Sondermüll ist
vom Aussteller wieder mit zu nehmen und selbst zu entsorgen.
Bei Missachtung wird Sondermüll kostenpflichtig für den Aussteller
entsorgt. Bitte wenden Sie sich bei Fragen an die KMK – Geschäftsbereich Service.
28. Refuse disposal / separation:
For environmentally sound disposal of the refuse arising during the
event as well as during construction and dismantling we request the
exhibitors to put the refuse according to materials into the collecting
containers available for this purpose. We inform you that we dispose
of waste which arises to a “customary extent”. We dispose of a
disproportionately high volume of waste against a charge. In the stand
design and supply, reusable materials should be used according to the
principle of waste avoidance.
Exhibitors who offer food and drinks for immediate consumption
must use washable reusable crockery and cutlery, glasses as well
as reusable table cloths. The use of plastics (also recyclable) as well
as cardboard crockery (also compostable uncoated) is not permitted.
Serving from cans or disposable bottles is forbidden. In the case of
infringement the KMK reserves the right to corresponding sanctions
up to revocation of the approval for the exhibition. We request that
edible crockery is not used because of the high production expense.
Also disposable foods are not acceptable for ethical reasons since they
are frequently disposed of through the refuse. Special waste has to be
taken away and be disposed by the exhibitor.
In the case of non-compliance special waste will be disposed of at cost
for the exhibitor. Please contact the KMK – service division if you have
any questions.
29. Parkmöglichkeiten:
Auf dem Messegelände stehen ca. 4500 PKW Parkplätze zur Verfügung. Für Aussteller gibt es Dauerparkausweise (nur für Fahrzeuge
bis 2,8 t Gesamtgewicht). Für Anhänger, die mitgeführt werden, ist
ein gesonderter Dauerparkausweis nötig. Das Abstellen von LKW mit
Anhänger ist nur auf den ausgewiesenen Sonderflächen gestattet. Für

29. Parking facilities:
Around 4500 car parking places are available on the exhibition grounds.
There are long-term parking permits for exhibitors (only for vehicles up
to 2.8 t total weight). A separate long-term parking permit is necessary
for towed trailers. Parking trucks with trailers is permitted only on the
signposted special areas. Please switch to the service listing for your

34. Sanitary service:

35. Service office / exhibition management:
The service office or the exhibition management is located during the
exhibition time as well as in the construction and dismantling times in
the area of the Action Hall West Entrance.
36. Stand construction:
36.1The stand area stated in the stand confirmation is drawn in by the
KMK. The stands must be constructed on this ground area. The
exhibitor must expect slight deviations in the stand dimensions. No
claims can be asserted against the FairFair GmbH or the KMK due
to these. These can result from the different wall thicknesses of
the partitions. The exhibitor has to perfectly design the connection
/ the demarcation to the neighbouring stands at its own expense.
On non-compliance with this regulation the demarcation to the
neighbouring stand will be made at the expense of the responsible
exhibitor. If you have no stand construction system of your own,
we recommend you our extensive offer of hired stand construction.
36.2All stands must have labelling or the name and address must be
affixed in a manner and size recognizable by everyone. For the
order please see service catalogue.
36.3Pfeiler, Wandvorsprünge, Trennwände, Verteilerkästen, Feuerlöscheinrichtungen und sonstige technische Einrichtungen sind
Bestandteile der zugeteilten Standflächen.
36.3Pillars, wall projections, partitions, distribution boxes, fire
extinguishing devices and other technical devices are parts of the
allocated stand areas.
36.4Hallenwände, Dachstützpfeiler, Binder der Dachkonstruktion dürfen durch den Standaufbau nicht belastet werden.

36.6In den Hallen herrscht Bodenbelagspflicht. Bodenbeläge können
Sie über das Servicemappenformular S2 bestellen.
Bodenbeläge dürfen nicht genagelt werden. Teppiche können
lediglich mit Doppelklebeband befestigt werden. Zum Fixieren von
Bodenbelägen/Teppichböden darf nur PE- oder PP-Klebeband verwendet werden, das rückstandsfrei zu entfernen ist. Wir empfehlen
die Verwendung folgender Klebebänder, die Sie auch vor Ort über
unser Servicebüro beziehen können:

Selbstklebende Teppichfliesen sind nicht zugelassen. Das
Einbringen von Bolzen und Verankerungen muss mit der KMK Geschäftsbereich Service abgestimmt werden. Die Hallenböden
dürfen nicht gestrichen werden. Schwere Lasten, Aufhubmaterial und Kisten dürfen nur mit gummi-bereiften Rollwagen oder
Hubwagen in den Hallen transportiert werden. Bremsspuren durch
Gummiabrieb sind zu vermeiden. Die Hallenböden bestehen aus
flügelgeglättetem Faserbeton. Im Bereich des Besucherrundganges und Foyer ist Betonwerkstein verlegt.
36.6In the halls floor coverings are duty. Floor coverings can be
ordered by using the order form S2.
Floor coverings may not be nailed. Carpets can be fastened
solely with double adhesive tape. Only the use of PE- or PP-tape,
which can be removed without residue, is allowed. We advise the
use of following tapes, leaving no residue. They are also available
at the Service office:
36.7The inspection shafts for water and power may not be opened by
exhibitors.
36.7Die Abnahmeschächte für Wasser und Strom dürfen von Ausstellern nicht geöffnet werden.
36.8Die Be- und Entlüftungsklappen der Klimaanlagen, Verteilerkästen,
sonstige technische Einrichtungen sowie Feuerschutz- und Feuerlöscheinrichtungen müssen freigehalten werden.
36.8The venting flaps of the air-conditioning, distribution boxes, other
technical equipment as well as fire protection and fire extinguishing
devices must be kept free.
36.9Überschreiten Ausstellungsstände bzw. Ausstellungsstücke in
den Hallen die Höhe von 2,50 m und die Bodenbelastung von
3.000 kg/qm, bitten wir, dies uns spezifiziert auch unter Angabe
der vorgesehenen Breite mitzuteilen (KMK – Technische Leitung).
Die maximalen Maße der Hallentore B x H 5,30m x 4,25m und die
maximale Belastung durch Transportmittel entsprechend SLW 30
bitten wir dabei zu beachten.
36.9If exhibition stands or exhibits in the halls exceed the height of
2.50 m and the floor loading of 3000 kg/sqm, we request you to
notify this to us specifically, also stating the intended width (KMK –
technical management). We request you to observe the maximum
size of the hall doors of W x H 5.30m x 4.25m and the maximum
loading by means of transport corresponding to SLW 30.
37. Standabbau:
37.1Nach dem Abbau ist der ursprüngliche Zustand der Ausstellungsflächen wieder herzustellen. Für Beschädigungen der Decken,
Wände, des Fußbodens und der Installationseinrichtungen haftet
der Aussteller. Klebestreifen müssen rückstandslos entfernt
werden. Nachträgliche Aufwendungen in diesem Zusammenhang
werden dem Aussteller in Rechnung gestellt.
37.2Beschädigungen der Halle, deren Einrichtungen sowie der Außenanlagen durch Aussteller oder deren Beauftragte müssen in jedem
Fall der Messeleitung gemeldet werden.
Wir bitten Sie, die Standplätze in dem Zustand zu verlassen, in
dem Sie diese vorgefunden haben.
37.3Nicht abgebaute Stände oder nicht abtransportierte Ausstellungsgüter werden nach Beendigung des Abbaus auf Kosten
und Gefahr des Ausstellers entfernt und beim Vertragsspediteur
eingelagert. Eine Haftung der KMK wird ausgeschlossen.

Self-adhering carpet tiles are not allowed. Introducing bolts and
anchors has to be approved by the KMK - service division. The hall
floors may not be painted. Heavy loads, lifting material and crates
may be transported in the halls only with rubber-tired rolling trucks
or lifting trucks. Wheel traces due to rubber abrasion must be
avoided. The hall floors consist of sealed fibre concrete. Concrete
blocks are laid in the area of the visitor‘s tour and foyer.
37. Stand dismantling:
37.1After dismantling the original condition of the exhibition surfaces
must be restored. The exhibitor is liable for damage to the ceilings,
walls, the floor and the installation devices. Adhesive tapes must
be removed without residue. Additional expenses in this context
will be invoiced after the event.
37.2Damage to the hall, its equipment or the external installations by
exhibitors or their authorized agents must be reported in any event
to the exhibition management.
We request you to leave the stand areas in the condition in which
you have found them.
37.3Stands not dismantled or exhibition goods not removed will be
removed after termination of dismantling at the cost and at the risk
of the exhibitor and stored at the contract shipping agent. Liability
of the KMK is excluded.

36. Standaufbau:
36.1Die in der Standbestätigung angegebene Standfläche wird von der
KMK eingezeichnet. Auf dieser Grundfläche sind die Stände aufzubauen. Der Aussteller muss mit geringfügigen Abweichungen in
der Standabmessung rechnen. Hierfür können keine Ansprüche
gegen die FairFair GmbH oder die KMK geltend gemacht werden.
Diese können sich aus den unterschiedlichen Wandstärken der
Trennwände ergeben. Der Aussteller hat den Anschluss / die Abgrenzung an die Nachbar- stände auf eigene Kosten gestalterisch
einwandfrei herzurichten. Bei Nichtbeachtung dieser Vorschrift
wird die Verblendung zum Nachbarstand auf Kosten des verursachenden Ausstellers vorgenommen. Falls Sie über kein eigenes

They must not be performed against payment or against donations

45. Subletting of exhibition stands:
The exchange of exhibition stands as well as subletting parts to third
parties requires approval by the exhibition management. Coexhibitors
pay a lump sum fee and are entered in the exhibition catalogue.
45. Untervermietung von Ausstellungsständen:
Das Austauschen von Ausstellungsständen sowie die Untervermietung
von Teilflächen an Dritte ist durch die Messeleitung genehmigungspflichtig. Mitaussteller bezahlen eine Pauschalgebühr und werden in
den Messekatalog eingetragen.
46. Insurance:
The KMK is not liable for damage of every type, for example fire,
theft, tap water and weather damage. The exhibitor is liable for every
personal or material damage which arises due to its operation itself.
It also bears the entire risk for its exhibition stand and the exhibition
goods.
46. Versicherung:
Für Schäden jeglicher Art, zum Beispiel Feuer-, Diebstahl-, Leitungswasser- und Witterungsschäden haftet die KMK nicht. Der Aussteller
haftet für jeden Personen- oder Sachschaden, der durch seinen Betrieb
entsteht, selbst. Außerdem trägt er das gesamte Risiko für seinen Ausstellungsstand und die Ausstellungsgüter.
Wir empfehlen den Abschluss einer Ausstellungsversicherung
(siehe siehe Servicekatalog).
47. Wasseranschluß:
Anschlüsse an das bestehende Versorgungsnetz dürfen nur von dem
zuständigen Vertragspartner vorgenommen werden. Es empfiehlt sich,
auch für Arbeiten innerhalb des Standes diese Firma zu beauftragen.

47. Water connection:
Connection to the existing supply mains may be made only by the
responsible contract partner. It is recommended that this company is
also authorized for work inside the stand.
48. Advertising media:
49. Advertising in the exhibition grounds:
49.1Official advertising surfaces are available for rental for your
advertising in the exhibition grounds.
Independent advertising actions outside your own stand (e.g.
use of gas-filled ballons, distribution of brochures, attachment of
advertising signs) is not permitted.
49.2The operation of acoustic systems as well as audio-visual
presentations of every type by the exhibitor require the approval
of the exhibition management and must be applied for in writing.
The noise level must not exceed 60 dBA for musical presentations.
In addition approval of musical presentations (GEMA) against a
charge may also be required.
49. Werbung im Messegelände:
49.1Für Ihre Werbung stehen Ihnen im Messegelände offizielle Werbeflächen zur Anmietung zur Verfügung
(siehe Servicekatalog).
Eigenmächtige Werbeaktionen außerhalb des eigenen Standes
(z.B. Einsatz von gasgefüllten Luftballons, Verteilung von Prospekten, Anbringen von Werbeschildern) ist nicht gestattet.
49.2Der Betrieb von akustischen Anlagen sowie audiovisuelle Darbietungen jeder Art durch die Aussteller bedürfen der Genehmigung
der Messeleitung und sind schriftlich einzureichen. Der Geräuschpegel darf bei musikalischen Darbietungen 60 dBA nicht überschreiten.
Daneben ist evtl. die Genehmigung für musikalische Aufführungen
(GEMA) gegen Gebühr erforderlich.

Note: The general cleaning of the exhibition halls shall be arranged by
the organiser. The cleaning of the individual stand shall be arranged
by the exhibitor. The daily cleaning will be done at the end of the fair
day. If the stand can be locked entirely (no booths), the key has to be
deposited with the contractor.
Der Aussteller hat einen Stromanschluss innerhalb des Standes
bereitzustellen. Reklamationen der Reinigungsarbeiten können nur am
darauffolgenden Tag entgegengenommen werden.
The exhibitor shall have to provide a power connection within the
stand. Complaints about the cleaning work can be accepted only on
the next day.

anchorage can be rented. They remain in our rightly ownership and have
to be given back after dismantling. Those shields can be bought after
according and can be taken away without anchorage. Illegally removed

Versichert sind insbesondere Schäden durch Verluste,
entstanden durch:
Damage caused by loss shall be covered in particular, if caused
by:
Transportmittelunfall, Brand, höhere Gewalt, Diebstahl,
Abhandenkommen, Beraubung, Einbruchdiebstahl,
Witterungseinflüsse (nicht bei Gegenständen im Freien), Bruch,
Verbiegen, Verbeulen.
accident of the means of transport, fire, force majeur, theft, loss,
robbery, burglary, weather influences (not applicable for objects
located in the open), breakage, bending, denting.
Für die Gewährung des Versicherungsschutzes ist es
erforderlich, dass der Stand mit einem Standbeauftragten
ständig besetzt ist bzw. außerhalb der Öffnungszeiten die
Räumlichkeiten verschlossen, bewacht oder sonst wie gegen
Einbruchdiebstahl / Diebstahl gesichert sind.
In order to grant the insurance coverage, it is necessary that
the stand is continuously occupied with a stand official or the
equipment is closed, guarded or otherwise protected against
burglary / theft after opening hours.
During the installation and removal days, the stand shall have to be occupied as well, otherwise an excess of 20 per cent per
claim at least, however, EUR 100, shall have to be borne by
the policyholder for damage caused by theft, loss, breakage,
bending, denting.
Auch während der Auf- und Abbautage soll der Stand
besetzt sein, andernfalls sind für Schäden durch Diebstahl,
Abhandenkommen, Bruch, Verbiegen, Verbeulen pro
Schadenfall 20%, mindestens aber 100 EUR Selbstbeteiligung
vom Versicherungsnehmer zu tragen.
Werden während der Ausstellung die Güter verkauft und dem
Käufer ausgehändigt, erstreckt sich der Versicherungsschutz
nicht auf Verluste durch Diebstahl bzw. Abhandenkommen.
Sämtliche Schäden sind unverzüglich dem BGV zu melden;
bei Verdacht einer strafbaren Handlung auch gleichzeitig der
Messeleitung sowie der zuständigen Polizeidienststelle.
Das Wertverzeichnis aller unter die Versicherung fallenden
Gegenstände ist spätestens im Schadenfall einzureichen.

Von der Versicherung ausgeschlossene Güter
Echte Teppiche, Pelze, Schmuck, Antiquitäten, Kunstobjekte,
Waffen, lebende Tiere und Pflanzen, kostenlos zu verteilendes
Prospektmaterial.
Hinweis: Sofern hierfür Versicherungsschutz benötigt wird,
bitten wir um formlose Kontaktaufnahme.

Prämien
4.1 Grundprämien (einschließlich Versicherungsteuer) bei einer
Gesamtversicherungssumme

If goods are sold during the exhibition or are handed over to the
buyer, the insurance shall not cover for damage by theft or loss.
All damage shall have to be reported to the BGV without delay;
in case of a suspicion of a criminal offence the fair management
as well as the competent police station shall have to be informed
at the same time as well.
The valued list of objects covered by the insurance shall have to
be submitted in case of a claim at the latest.

Goods excluded from the insurance coverage
Genuine carpets, furs, jewellery, antiquities, objet d‘art, weapons,
living animals and plants, advertising material to be distributed
free of charge.
Note: If an insurance coverage is required for the above, we
kindly ask to get in touch informally.

Können wir nicht vom Vertrag zurücktreten, weil Sie die vorvertragliche Anzeigepflicht lediglich einfach fahrlässig oder schuldlos verletzt haben, können wir den
Vertrag unter Einhaltung einer Frist von einem Monat kündigen.
Unser Kündigungsrecht ist ausgeschlossen, wenn wir den Vertrag auch bei
Kenntnis der nicht angezeigten Umstände, wenn auch zu anderen Bedingungen,
geschlossen hätten.
3. VERTRAGSÄNDERUNG
Können wir nicht zurücktreten, weil wir den Vertrag auch bei Kenntnis der nicht
angezeigten Gefahrumstände, wenn auch zu anderen Bedingungen, geschlossen
hätten, werden die anderen Bedingungen auf unser Verlangen Vertragsbestandteil. Haben Sie die Anzeigepflicht schuldlos verletzt, werden die anderen Bedingungen erst ab der laufenden Versicherungsperiode Vertragsbestandteil.
Erhöht sich durch die Vertragsänderung der Beitrag um mehr als 10 % oder
schließen wir die Gefahrabsicherung für den nicht angezeigten Umstand aus,
können Sie den Vertrag innerhalb eines Monats nach Zugang unserer Mitteilung
über die Vertragsänderung fristlos kündigen. Auf dieses Recht werden wir Sie in
unserer Mitteilung hinweisen.
4. AUSÜBUNG UNSERER RECHTE
Sie sind bis zur Abgabe Ihrer Vertragserklärung verpflichtet, alle Ihnen bekannten
gefahrerheblichen Umstände, nach denen wir in Textform gefragt haben, wahrheitsgemäß und vollständig anzuzeigen. Wenn wir nach Ihrer Vertragserklärung,
aber vor Vertragsannahme in Textform nach gefahrerheblichen Umständen
fragen, sind Sie auch insoweit zur Anzeige verpflichtet.
Wir können unsere Rechte zum Rücktritt zur Kündigung oder zur Vertragsänderung nur innerhalb eines Monats schriftlich geltend machen. Die Frist beginnt mit
dem Zeitpunkt, zu dem wir von der Verletzung der Anzeigepflicht, die das von
uns geltend gemachte Recht begründet, Kenntnis erlangen. Bei der Ausübung
unserer Rechte haben wir die Umstände anzugeben, auf die wir unsere Erklärung
stützen. Zur Begründung können wir nachträglich weitere Umstände angeben,
wenn für diese die Frist nach Satz 1 nicht versichert ist.
WELCHE FOLGEN KÖNNEN EINTRETEN, WENN EINE VORVERTRAGLICHE
ANZEIGEPFLICHT VERLETZT WIRD?
Wir können uns auf die Rechte zum Rücktritt, zur Kündigung oder zur Vertragsänderung nicht berufen, wenn wir den nicht angezeigten Gefahrumstand oder die
Unrichtigkeit der Anzeige kannten.
WELCHE VORVERTRAGLICHEN ANZEIGEPFLICHTEN BESTEHEN?
1. RÜCKTRITT UND WEGFALL DES VERSICHERUNGSSCHUTZES
Verletzten Sie die vorvertragliche Anzeigepflicht, können wir vom Vertrag zurücktreten. Dies gilt nicht, wenn Sie nachweisen, dass weder Vorsatz noch grobe
Fahrlässigkeit vorliegt.
Bei grob fahrlässiger Verletzung der Anzeigepflicht haben wir kein Rücktrittsrecht,
wenn wir den Vertrag auch bei Kenntnis der nicht angezeigten Umstände, wenn
auch zu anderen Bedingungen geschlossen hätten.
Im Fall des Rücktritts besteht kein Versicherungsschutz. Erklären wir den
Rücktritt nach Eintritt des Versicherungsfalles, bleiben wir dennoch zur Leistung
verpflichtet, wenn Sie nachweisen, dass der nicht oder nicht richtig angegebene
Umstand

5. STELLVERTRETUNG DURCH EINE ANDERE PERSON
Lassen Sie sich bei Abschluss des Vertrages durch eine andere Person vertreten,
so sind bezüglich der Anzeigepflicht, des Rücktritts der Kündigung, der Vertragsänderung und der Ausschlussfrist für die Ausübung unserer Rechte die Kenntnis
und Arglist Ihres Stellvertreters als auch Ihre eigene Kenntnis und Arglist zu
berücksichtigen. Sie können sich darauf, dass die Anzeigepflicht nicht vorsätzlich
oder grob fahrlässig verletzt worden ist, nur berufen, wenn weder Ihrem Stellvertreter noch Ihnen Vorsatz oder grobe Fahrlässigkeit zur Last fällt.

CONTRACT LAW]
Dear Applicant,
In order to enable us to process your insurance policy, you must answer
the questions put to you truthfully and in full. You should also mention
circumstances to which you may attach only minor importance.
Any statements you do not wish to make to the insurance broker in person
should be sent in writing promptly and without delay to Badische

What are the pre-contractual duties of disclosure?
Before submitting your contractual declaration, you are obliged to disclose
truthfully and in full any and all risk-related circumstances which we have
asked for in written form. It is also your duty to provide such information if
we request in writing that you supply information on risk-related
circumstances after having received your contractual declaration, but
before agreeing to issue the policy.
What are the possible consequences of non-compliance with a precontractual duty of disclosure?
1. Cancellation and loss of insurance coverage
If you fail to comply with the pre-contractual duty of disclosure, we are
entitled to cancel the policy. This is not the case if you can prove that noncompliance was neither deliberate nor due to gross negligence. In the case
of non-compliance with the duty of disclosure as a result of gross
negligence, we are not entitled to cancel the policy if we would have issued
it in full knowledge of the circumstances which were not disclosed, albeit
on different terms.
Cancellation of a policy means that insurance cover can no longer be
provided. If we decide to cancel a policy after an insurance claim has been
made, we are still liable to pay the claim if you are able to prove that the
circumstances that were either not declared at all or were described
incorrectly were neither of direct consequence
- for the occurrence leading to or the establishment of the claim
- nor for the determination or the extent of our obligation to provide
indemnification.
However, our obligation to provide indemnification no longer applies if you
are guilty of deceit with regard to non-compliance with the duty of
disclosure. In the event of cancellation we are entitled to retain that

In the case that an insurance claim is made, we need your help and
cooperation.
Obligation to inform and obligation of full disclosure
On the basis of our contractual agreements with you, if an insurance claim
is made we are entitled to request that you provide us with any and all
information that may be necessary to determine the validity of a particular
insurance claim or the extent of our obligation to provide indemnification
(obligation to inform), and enable us to verify our obligation to provide
indemnification by disclosing everything that might help establish the facts
of the case (obligation of full disclosure). We are also entitled to request that
you place certain documents at our disposal insofar as this remains within
reasonable limits.

2. Termination of the contract
If we are unable to withdraw from the contract because your noncompliance
with the pre-contractual duty of disclosure was merely due to

This right to terminate the contract is excluded in such cases in which we
would have been prepared to issue the policy, though perhaps on different
terms, even if we had been aware of the undisclosed circumstances.
3. Alteration of the contract
If we are unable to cancel the contract because we would have been
prepared to issue the policy even had we been aware of the undisclosed
risks, though perhaps on different terms, the modified terms shall become
part of the contract at our request. If your non-compliance with the duty of
disclosure was not intentional, the modified terms will only become part of
the contract in the current insurance period.
If such contract modification should cause the premium to increase by
more than 10%, or if we exclude insurance cover for the circumstances
that were not disclosed, you have the right to terminate the contract
immediately within one month after receiving notification of the modified
terms. In such case, we will call your attention to this fact in our letter.
4. Exercising our rights
Should we wish to exercise our rights with regard to cancellation,
termination or modification of the contract, these must be asserted in
writing and within one month from the date on which we become aware of
the non-compliance with the duty of disclosure on which the assertion of
such right is based. When exercising asserting such rights, we are obliged
to state the circumstances on which we base our assertion. In
substantiation we may subsequently adduce other circumstances if these
are not covered for the period referred to in sentence one.
We are not entitled to assert our rights with regard to cancellation,
termination or modification of the contract if we had prior knowledge of the
undisclosed risk or of the incorrect nature of the disclosure.
Our rights with regard to cancellation, termination or modification of the
contract lapse after a period of five years following the issuance of the
policy. This does not apply in the case of insured events occurring before
this period has expired. A period of ten years applies if you have
deliberately or deceitfully failed to comply with the duty of disclosure.
5. Representation by a third party
If you choose to be represented by a third party when the contract is
concluded, it will be necessary to consider personal knowledge and
possible deceitfulness both on your part and on the part of your
representative with regard to the duty of disclosure, cancellation,
termination of contract, contract modification and the period in which we
are entitled to assert our rights. You can only plead that your failure to
comply with the duty of disclosure was neither deliberate nor the result of
gross negligence if neither you nor your representative can be deemed tohave
done so deliberately or as being guilty of gross negligence.
Non-payment of claim
Should you, contrary to the provisions of this contract, deliberately fail to
provide us with information at all or provide incorrect information, or if you
deliberately withhold the documents we have requested, you are not
entitled to indemnification. If you are found guilty of gross negligence with
regard to non-compliance with these obligations, you will not lose your
entitlement completely, though we may deduct a proportion of our payment
commensurate with the gravity of your negligence. There will be no such
deduction if you can prove that your non-compliance with the obligation
was not due to gross negligence.
Even in the case that you fail comply with your obligation to inform,
obligation of full disclosure, or obligation to place certain documents at our
disposal, we are nevertheless obliged to provide indemnification if you can
prove that such deliberate or grossly negligent non-compliance with your
obligations was neither of direct consequence for the establishment of the
claim nor for the determination or the extent of our obligation to provide
indemnification.
If your failure to comply with your obligation to inform, to full disclosure or
to make certain documents available was the result of deceit, we are in
each and every case absolved of our duty to provide indemnification.

If the entitlement to indemnification does not apply to you, but to a third
party instead, then the obligation to inform, to full disclosure, and to supply
any documents requested applies to this third party, as well.
