BOLIVIA
Bolivia is a beautiful country located in the Southern Hemisphere of the American Continent. It is divided into three geographical regions; The Andean Region (which takes into account two mountain ranges and the Altiplano), The Sub – Andean Region (which is predominantly located in the Yungas) and the Plains Region (which is the most extensive and least populated of the country).
The Andean Region makes up approximately 28% of the total surface area of the country and is found on average, 3.000 m above sea level. Lake Titicaca is found in the Altiplano and is the highest, navigable lake in the world.
The Sub – Andean Region, located between the Altiplano and the Eastern Plains is made up of approximately 13% of Bolivian territory. This area takes into account the Valleys and the Yungas (an Aymaran word meaning “warm area”. It is characterized by its agricultural activity and it’s temperate to warm climate. In this region one may find various archaeological sites such as; Supay Huasi and P´lta
Orko, located in the department of Chuquisaca. Other sites such as El Palacio
Portales constructed by the tin baron, Simón Patiño, or Pairumani, Quillacollo, the Archaeological Museum and the Casa de la Cultura are located in the department of Cochabamba.
At the base of the Real Mountain Range, to the northeast the Plains Region can be observed. These plains are extremely rich in flora and fauna and occupy approximately 59% of the national territory. A large part of this region becomes flooded during the rainy season which covers the months of December, January and February. This constant flooding forms swamplands such as the pools of Izozog. There is also a zone of the Plains Region which is semi – tropical and dry. This zone is called the Chaco and includes in its territory the Jesuit Missions and their beautiful surroundings.
SANTA CRUZ
Tourism in Santa Cruz is an emerging activity which is being developed constantly. This area also has rich natural resources due to the wide variety of climatic zones and types of vegetation. These include, valleys, jungle and chaco
which give way to several nature reserves where bio‐diversity is observed at its best. Some of the greatest attractions, from a tourist’s standpomt, are the Pre‐
Columbian ruins such as “El Fuerte” and religious sites such as the Jesuit Missions whose style is a mix of Baroque and local cultures. The living villages near this area never forget and try to conserve their past.

CIU1. ‐ CITY TOUR – MODERN SANTA CRUZ –
Duration: 3 to 4 hours.
Visitors will be picked up from their hotel or the airport and commence touring the residential and commercial areas of the city. This tour will begin in the area of Canal Isuto and continue on towards San Martin Avenue and Monseñor Rivero Avenue where some of the finest restaurants in Santa Cruz are situated.
The commercial area of Santa Cruz is located around the main square where visitors may enjoy a variety of shops. This tour also includes a stop at the Centre of Tourism and Cultural Interpretation where visitors can familiarize themselves with the history of the Jesuit Missions and other cultural attractions of Santa Cruz.

CIU4. ‐ PANORAMIC VIEW OF THE CITY –
Duration: 3 Hours. Visitors will be picked up from their hotel or the airport and head toward all the residential areas of Santa Cruz, stopping at the most popular meeting places in the city. Next, visitors will move on to the commercial area of the city where they can enjoy: ice cream shops, electronics, sporting goods stores and clothing stores. The tour will continue, passing through the Main Square on the way to the southern part of the city. Visitors will have the opportunity to visit the Blacutt Plaza and Cine Centre as well as the famous monument to Madre India (Indian Mother). CIU6. ‐ CITY TOUR BY NIGHT –
Duration: 3 to 4 Hours.
This tour will begin in the centre of the city with a visit to the Plaza 24 de Septiembre to enjoy the twilight ambience and a visit to a local Art Gallery. Visitors will enjoy a fabulous view of the Main Square from the balcony of the Bar‐Restaurant the Irish Pub, where they will be treated to a complementary drink. Our tour will continue down the famous Ayacucho Street passing ice cream shops and electronics stores until we reach Casco Viejo and La Recoba, where you’ll find a variety of local artisans and their hand made products..
The tour continues to Monserñor Rivero Av., where visitors will choose from some of the best restaurants in the city their preferred place for dinner.

CIU7. ‐ SHOPPING TOUR –
Duration: 3 to 4 Hours.
Departing from the hotel or the airport, this visit to the many shopping centres of Santa Cruz will allow the visitor to get to know many areas the city, Depending on our guests interests we may visit the jewellery store ANAHI, which creates beautiful pieces using a precious stone unique to Bolivia, the “Bolivianita”. Visitors will also be able to buy handcrafted products from local artisans in the Main Square and in the famous store Arte – Campo. There will also include a stop to Cosmet, one of the finest perfume and make up stores in Santa Cruz before moving to the Ayacucho Street where visitors can enjoy a taste of the local ice cream. We will tour the sporting goods stores on Calle España (Spain Street) and clothing stores throughout the Cañoto Shopping Center. Included:

ALR 1 ‐ VISIT TO THE SANCTUARY OF COTOCA Duration: 3 to 4 hours.
Departing from the hotel or airport, visitors will tour Cotoca, located 17km away from Santa Cruz, where they will appreciate an economy based on artisans and their products. This beautiful town comes alive with activity as the followers of the Virgin of Cotoca congregate here from the 8th to the 15th of December, when the religious celebrations take place. On the way guests will visit the Botanical Gardens which contain great representations of the subtropical flora surrounding Santa Cruz.
Upon arrival to the town of Cotoca, guests visit the temple of the Virgin of Cotoca observing its architecture and the statue of the Virgin. A walk around the main square will lead guests to the permanent “Feria Artesanal” (Artisan Fair).It is here that pottery workshops produce a great variety of artistic pieces. Guests will have the opportunity to observe the process of the making of some of these pieces.
Later guests will visit “El Trapiche” where they will observe the traditional method of processing sugar cane and taste the products derived from sugar cane.

ALR 3 ‐ VISIT TO PORONGO –
Duration: 3 to 4 hours.
Departure will commence at 8 am (or at an hour convenient to our guests), in private transportation to Porongo, arriving in 30 minutes to the main square. Tours will begin with a visit to the church and museum “La Palizada del Carretero
Enamorado” where guests will observe historical items that are part of the history of the town (ceramics, woodwork etc.)
Visit to the local market, observing the elaboration of typical dishes, breads and desserts. Surrounding the town guests will find attractions such as the “La Laguna Capihuara” a pristine lagoon and waterfall with fully equipped cabins. “Los Lagos Resort” in Las Cruces, offers accommodation with TV, bar, and hot water, camping, boats, restaurants, a pool, sunbeds, bikes, and activities such as nature hikes and karaoke.

ALR 4 ‐BIOCENTER GUEMBE
7km away from Santa Cruz, along the way to Porongo, crossing the Urubo Bridge, visitors have the opportunity to visit an orchid farm and protected butterfly habitat. This tour includes walks through beautiful gardens and the use of the swimming pool. The restaurant is well known for its excellent cuisine. This package offers horseback riding, carriages or bikes to tour the nature paths and observe the many species of butterflies and birds..

SAMAIPATA – 102KM AWAY FROM SANTA CRUZ
SAM 1. – SAMAIPATA – Full Day.
Guests will leave Santa Cruz at 7:00 a.m. for the municipality of Samaipata, a zone which borders the National Park Amboro on the South side, 120 km from Santa Cruz. Located here is the famous archaeological site “El Fuerte”, an ancient ceremonial site of great importance to eastern Bolivia. It was declared a Cultural World Heritage site in 1998. At 11:00 am guests will tour the main square, visit the local church, the Archaeological Museum, the local artisan shops and the ASOPEC workshop. Lunch will be taken in one of two restaurants: Landhaus or Descanso en las Alturas. At 14:30pm guests will leave for “El Fuerte”, which is located at the top of a large hill at approximately 1.950 above sea level. Here guests will enjoy an incredible view from the lookout and visit the cultural interpretation centre with a local guide. Upon return to Santa Cruz guests will stop at the waterfalls of Las Cuevas where they will be offered the use of cabins and the opportunity for horseback riding. Guests will return to Santa Cruz at approximately 19:00pm.

SAM 3. ‐ SAMAIPATA – LA YUNGA Duration: 2 Days‐1 Night
DAY 1: Guests will leave Santa Cruz at 7:00 a.m. for the municipality of Samaipata, a zone which borders the Nacional Park Amboro on the South side, 120 km from Santa Cruz. Located here is the famous archaeological site “El Fuerte”, an ancient ceremonial site of great importance to eastern Bolivia. It was declared a World Heritage site in 1998. At 11:00 am guests will register in the Hotel Quinta Piray, then guests will tour the main square; visit the local church, the Archaeological Museum, the local artisan shops and the ASOPEC workshop. Return to the hotel for lunch and a rest.
At 15:30pm guests will leave for “El Fuerte” ”, which is located at the top of a large hill at approximately 1.950m above sea level. Here guests will enjoy an incredible view from the lookout and visit the cultural interpretation centre with a local guide. Upon return to Samaipata guests will have a free night to visit the Café‐Bar Mosquito, the Chess Palace and the Restaurant‐
Pizzería Descanso en las Alturas.
DAY 2: Guests will depart at 7:00 a.m. for the protected national Park
Amboro and arrive at the La Yunga Camp in the municipality of Mairana. Here they will begin a series of nature hikes through the Forest of the Giant Trees and observe the biodiversity this site has to offer. Snacks will be served on the trail and lunch will be served on return to Samaipata. Guests will return to Santa Cruz late in the afternoon.
Optional Activity:
DAY 2: Guests will leave at 7:00 for the area of “La Pajcha”, a waterfall in the midst o fan exotic environment. Lunch will be served in the Landhaus
Restaurant. Alter a short rest guests will leave the hotel and return to Santa Cruz stopping along the way at Las Cuevas (another waterfall) where cabins and horseback riding is offered. Guests will return to Santa Cruz at sunset.

The tour will continue on towards Lemon City where guests will have lunch and explore the area. Guests will arrive in Santa Cruz at approximately 1:00 in the afternoon. SAM 5. SAMAIPATA AND TOUR OF BELLA VISTA
Duration: 2 Days / 1 Night
Day 1: Guests will leave Santa Cruz at 8:00 a.m. for the municipality of Samaipata, a zone which borders the National Park Amboro on the South side, 120 km from Santa Cruz. Activities will commence approximately 20 km from the urban centre of Samaipata where guests will be introduced to a beautiful valley by the name of Bella Vista. Here guests may experience four circuits; one on horseback and 3 walking tours. The most interesting area for the observation of animals and vegetation is in the transition area between the valleys, the chaco and the amazon. This circuit “El Cañadón” is a recommended 2 day circuit due to its extension of 12 km. It starts off at the Gran Mirador (lookout), from where guests will view an impressive landscape including mountain peaks called “Codo de Los Andes” (Andes elbow). Next, guests will follow a nature path through the forest observing along the way, orchids, ferns, and various species of birds, toucans, butterflies, monkeys and other mammals. We will follow the Colorado River which will direct us towards the waterfall “La Pajchita”. The campsite is located near the waterfall and here guests will rest for the night. Day 2: Guests will continue on the nature path, stopping along the way to view impressive lookout points. These lookout points give the impression that guests are at the end of the world. Our tour will end with the guests traversing the last peaks of the “Codo de Los Andes”. Guests will then descend to the accommodation site. (6 to 8 hour walk). Optional Walk “Colas de Mono” (Monkey Tail): Guests will follow a nature path about one tour through the forest towards the mountain “La Patilla”. Here they will be able to observe a variety of orchids and admire the beauty of the “Colas de Mono” (Monkey Tail cactus), a species of cactus (unique in the world and new for scientists) which can grow up to 4 mts in length. Those who have the opportunity to see these plants often confuse them for actual monkey tails and cannot resist the urge to feel the softness of their “fur”. Lunch will be served at the campsite then guests will continue on towards Samaipata to visit the main square, the museums, local artisan shops and the workshop of ASOPEC. Snacks will be taken in an ice cream shop before returning to Santa Cruz

CHE GUEVARA´S ROUTE – 250km from Santa Cruz
CHE 1 ‐ CHE´S ROUTE
Duration: 2 Days / 1 Night.
DAY 1: Guests will depart from their hotel at 8:00 and travel to Vallegrande, a municipality 241 Km from Santa Cruz. Along the route they will stop in Samaipata to have lunch and tour the Plaza de Armas. At 16:30 they will arrive at their Hotel, register and have a short rest. Later they will visit the Quinta La Pajcha, a typical country house of the region. They will also visit the Archaeological museum of Vallegrande. Guests may also visit the hospital and the landing strip close to the Mausoleum. Dinner will be served at 21:00 in the Mirador Restaurant.
Day 2: Breakfast will be served at 7:00 and departure for La Higuera
will be at 8:00. La Higuera is approximately 60 Km away, passing through Pucará and finally arriving at the Quebrada del Churo. Guests may have the opportunity to walk the same path as Che
Guevara where he was wounded and eventually captured. This tour lasts approximately 3 hours and lunch will be served on route. During the afternoon guests will return to La Higuera and explore this small village. They will visit the school where Che Guevara was held prisoner and finally died. Guests will also visit the Telegraph outpost before their departure to Vallegrande at 17:00. They will arrive in Vallegrande at 20:00 and then begin their journey back to Santa Cruz. The tour will stop briefly in Mairana for a light snack. Guests will arrive in Santa Cruz at 03:00.. CHE 2 ‐ CHE´S ROUTE AND SAMAIPATA
Duration:3 Days / 2 Nights
Day 1: Guests will leave the hotel at 8:00 and make their way to Samaipata, a municipality 120 Km from Santa Cruz. Upon arrival to Samaipata guests will enter the Archaeological Ruins of “El Fuerte”. Alter exploring the ruins guests will continue on toward the city of Samaipata for lunch and a visit to the Plaza de Armas. There will also be an opportunity to visit the Archaeological Museum of Samaipata.
At 15:30 guests will leave for Vallegrande, 241 Km from Santa Cruz. They will arrive at the hotel at 18:30 where they will register and be able to rest. Dinner will be served at the Mirador Restaurant at 20:00. Day 2: Option 1: Recommended for young people.
Guests will be served breakfast at 7:00 and leave or La Higuera at 8:00 which is 60 Km away. The tour will pass through Pucará, finally arriving at the Quebrada del Churo. Guests may have the opportunity to walk the same path as Che Guevara where he was wounded and eventually captured. This tour lasts approximately 3 hours and lunch will be served on route. Day 2: Option 2: Recommended for older visitors.
Guests will be served breakfast at 7:00 and leave for Pucará at 8:00 which is 40 Km from Vallegrande. This city is constructed from cut stone and is beautiful to observe. Guests will be served a box lunch on route.
During the afternoon, guests will return to La Higuera and explore this small village. They may visit the school where Che Guevara was held prisoner and eventually died. Before their return to Vallegrande at 17:00 guests will visit the Telegraph Outpost. Upon arrival in Vallegrande, at 20:00, guests will be served dinner at the Mirador Restaurant before resting for the night.
Day 3: Breakfast will be served at 7:00 in the Quinta La Pajcha, a typical country house of the region. Guests will then visit the Archaeological Museum as well as the Hospital and landing strip near the Mausoleum. Lunch will be served in local home. After exploring during the afternoon guests will depart for Santa Cruz, stopping in Mairana for a snack. Arrival in Santa Cruz will be at 19:00. Included: Private, insured transportation, accommodation, meals, a bilingual guide and entrance fees to the ruins and to the museums.

MIS 1 ‐ SAN JAVIER
Duration: Full Day
The visit to the municipality of San Javier begins at 7:00 o’clock with the first destination being the Jesuit Mission of Chiquitos, founded in 1691. The town is 222 Km away from the city of Santa Cruz, the capital of the department of the same name. The first visit will be to the mission temple, church museum, and then we will visit the house of the Germán
Busch (ex president of Bolivia), the house of culture and the Yarituses Room. Lunch will be served at “Las Piedras” restaurant from where you can enjoy the view by visiting “El mirador
Bibosi” at the park “Piedra de los Apóstoles”. In the afternoon guests will visit the handicraft workshops for bread, wood, ceramic and wheat as well as the typical sewing shops. On the way back to Santa Cruz guests may try various types of local cheeses.

Day 1 ‐ The tour will depart from San Javier at 7:00am to the first Jesuit Mission of Chiquitos, founded in 1691 where guests will visit The House of Culture and the Yarituse´s room.
After lunch, guests will visit the “Miradores Naturales” and the “Parque de Piedra de los Apostoles” as well as the “Mirador Bibosi”.
Visitors will continue on to Concepción, 63km away from San Javier, 30km away Las Piedras. They will visit the hotel Chiquitos, which holds the Orchid sanctuary that offers a variety of native species which are a delight for the eye. Guests will tour the workshops and handicraft stores and enjoy a traditional snack before visiting the Zapocó dam. Upon returning to the hotel guests will have time to rest. Dinner will be served at 20:30 and finally visitors may take a walk around the main square.

Guests will have lunch and continue another 35km to San Miguel. There they will visit the missional church and the woodcarving workshop. Guests will return to San Ignacio in the afternoon to have dinner and rest.
Option 2: Breakfast will be served at 07:00 and at 08:00 guests will depart for San Miguel, 36 km from San Ignacio where they will visit the missional church and woodcarving workshop. Guests will then depart for San Antonio de Lomerio, 168km away. Accommodation will be in the residential, departure to visit the waterfalls, taking a box lunch to observe the traditional paintings of “Piedra Marcada” and lagoons. On our way back guests will have the option to buy some artisan crafts and local honey.
Day 4.‐ Breakfast and departure from Santa Cruz, passing through San Javier, at tea time, guests may visit the workshop where baking is done as well as workshops of woodworking, pottery and traditional clothing. On our way back, we´ll have time to sample some of the local cheeses and then continue on towards Santa Cruz, arriving in the afternoon. Guests will register in their hotels before dinner and then have time to rest.

At 14:30 visitors will depart for a walk to the urban area of the town, including the center of interpretation of Amboro, the artisan shop of Arte Campo, visit to the CURICHI and return to the eco‐resort to have dinner and rest. BEN 1 ‐ ABOARD THE FLOTEL QUEEN OF ENIN (BASE PROGRAM‐ NOVEMBER TO APRIL)
Day 1 ‐ Reception at the airport of Trinidad, overland transfer to Puerto Varador (16km to the west). Embarking on the Flotel Quenn of Enin and navigating a system of lagoons to the river I Mamore, the largest in Bolivia. The first encounter guests will experience will be with the bufeos or dolphins that will escort us all along the journey. In the afternoon guests will be able to enjoy fishing activities, swimming in the river or lagoons and observation of local flora and fauna.
Day 2 ‐ Navigation to the ranch “El Carmen” where guests will embark on a horseback riding excursion across the savanna or pampa Mojeña (ride: 45 to 60 minutes).In the afternoon visitors will return to the native community Yurakaré of San Renato where they may meet villagers and participate in a cultural exchange.
Here guests will have the opportunity to observe the great variety of birds such as; tucans, manguaris, parrots, etc. They will find the Laguna Verde and bathe in its quiet waters, sharing the lagoon with the friendly bufeos (dolphins).
Day 3 ‐ Accommodation in Morenita. By canoe guests will explore a hidden lagoon in hopes of catching the voracious piranha for dinner.
In the afternoon, guests will traverse in motor boats a system of 5 lagoons of Mocovi, a true paradise habituated by only 3 families along with caymans and bufeos. Guests will have the opportunity to go out at night and observe or photograph the caymans.
Day 4 ‐ Navigation to the community Mojeña de Villa del Carmen, on the shore of the river Mamoré. Guests will meet with the villagers to discover their unique clothing, artisans and the advance of the community development project that is being carried out. The boat will continue on to the joining of the rivers Mamoré and Ibare, a meeting place for bufeos or river dolphins. At night guests will enjoy a slide show which depicts the incredible ancient hydraulic culture called “ Mojeña”, its mysteries and its possible environmental teachings.

Day 5 ‐ Visit to the protected area of Chuchini the sleeping place of hundreds of parrots and other bird species. Here there exists a small archaeological museum. Throughout the trajectory guests will observe the biodiversity of the area. Short visits away from the boat will be provided (max. 60 min.) to the port of Loma Suarez and it is here that guests will prepare for their transfer to the airport, depending on the flight itinerary.

BEN3. ‐ JUNGLE TOUR – MADIDI NATIONAL PARK – TUICHI RIVER
DAY 1 ‐ Depart, by air, from the city of La Paz or Santa Cruz. Upon arrival guests will register in the hostal and have dinner.
DAY 2 – Guests will be received in the office and will fill out all the paperwork for entrance into this National Park.
Explanation of tour: All boats are complete with roof, chairs, lifejackets, rain ponchos and first aid kits. Boats will traverse the Beni River for 2, 5 hours, passing through the Bala canyon and continuing on to the Tuichi River. Guests will be able to see the unique rock formations and vegetation during the 3 hours along this river. The tour will stop for box lunches at the halfway point. Upon arrival at the port of Chalalan guests will have a short, 25 minute, hike to the camping zone and their accommodations.
Lunch will include a variety of local, nacional and internacional dishes. Guests will have time to rest or swim in the Chalalan lagoon. Later we will go for a short nature walk up to the Paraba lookout from where guests will have an incredible view of the lagoon, mountains and the tropical rainforest of Madidi. We will return by canoe to the Chalalan lagoon to observe birds and monkeys. Dinner will be served in the jungle camp shelter.
Guests will have the option of a night walk through the nature paths to observe various insects, tarantulas, amphibians, rodents, birds and nocturnal monkeys. If guests prefer they may take a night canoe ride to observe amphibians, nocturnal birds and caimans which are easily distinguishable by their glowing eyes.

BE3. ‐ SELVA TOUR – PARQUE NACIONAL MADIDI ‐ RIO TUICHI

DAY 3 – In the dining area guests will be served a breakfast buffet before leaving for a jungle nature walk down a system of themed pathways. Here visitors may observe and learn about the forest and its wildlife. Optional themes: natural history, ecological processes, medicinal plants, plants used for construction, animal behaviour and bird watching. Lunch will be served and guests will have time to rest or take a dip in the lake. The afternoon holds many options such as: 1. Handicraft afternoon. 2. Tours of the lake in canoe. 3. Presentation of videos about the community and the Madidi Park. Tradicional dinner “dunucuabi” river fish wrapped in leaves or “tacuara” fish. Finally guests will finish the evening with a Quechua traditional night with original music and dance prepared by the community of San José de Uchupiamonas.
DAY 4 – Breakfast buffet style will be served in the dining room then guests will walk the short distance to the River Tuichi where they will borad the boat for return to Rurrenabaque (3 hours). One in Rurrenabaque guests will be brought to the airport for their return flight to Santa Cruz or La Paz.

BEN4. ‐ PAMPAS TOUR‐ RURRENABAQUE
DAY 1 – Departure from the city of La Paz or Santa Cruz by plane. Check into the accommodation provided and have dinner.
DAY 2 – Reception in the office where guests will leave valuable items in the safe.
Explanation of the tour: Overland trip in a 4x4 Jeep for approximately 3‐4 hours with time for nature observation. Arrive at the control point to the Municipal Park of Yacuma. Guests will make their way to the port on the Yacuma River. Lunch will be served in the Caracoles dining area. Alter a brief rest guests will continue their journey in boats along the shore of the river for approximately 4 hours. This boat ride is slow enough to take some amazing photographs and observe the great quantity of animals, birds and vegetation. After the arrival at the campsite and a brief rest dinner will be served. Guests will also have the opportunity to take a night cruise on the river to observe the caymans, anacondas and nocturnal animals.
DAY 3 – Guests will be served breakfast then take a small trip by boat and foot around the pampas towards the wetlands and try to find the famous anaconda or cobra. It is recommended to take: Camara, water, repellent, solar protection, wide brimmed had, long sleeved shirt and long pants. Lunch will be served then guests will travel by boat to see the pink dolphins and have the option to go for a swim before dinner.
DAY 4 – Before breakfasts guests will take a short horseback ride around the pampas and observe the great variety of birds. After breakfast the tour will continue by boat to some small jungle islands where they will be able to find medicinal as well as toxic plants. Lunch. Return to the port of the Yacuma River before travelling in Jeep 4x4 to Rurrenabaque. Return to Santa Cruz or La Paz.

CB 1 ‐ COCHABAMBA AND THE VALLEY OF THE FLOWERS Duration: 2 Days / 1 Night Day 1‐ Visit to the most interesting attractions in the city. Walk around the Prado – the ancient Alameda, the main square, 14 of September where the Metropolitan cathedral is, the archaeological museum of the university Mayor de San Simon and the Natural History Museum Acides Dorbigny and others historic sites. Shopping is available in the market of “La Cancha”, typical for its artisan shops and musical instruments. The day will end with a ride in the lift to the summit of Cristo de la Concordia, from where guests will appreciate a gorgeous panoramic view of the city.
Day 2 ‐ To TIQUIPAYA (8km away from Cochabamba ) also named “The Flower Capital ”, where we will visit the greenhouses. We will continue to the locality of El Paso (12km away) named after the last stop of the travellers that came from the altiplano to Cochabamba – one of the most beautiful valleys of Cochabamba, famous for its views and weather, here is situated one of the first churches of the renaissance of the valley (1570). Later we will continue on to Quillacollo where we will find Villa Albina, country house of the famous tin magnate Simon I. Patiño. After a quick tour through the ecological park Pairumani our tour will return to the city of Cochabamba.

CB 2 ‐ PARK CARRASCO – CHAPARE Duration: 2 Days – 1 Night
Day 1. – Transport to Villa Tunare, observing the biodiversity of the area and the wonderful views of the valley of Sacaba , the semi‐puna of Corani to the majestic amazon.
Lunch will be served in the jungle at the hotel “El Puente”. After lunch guests may explore the 14 crystal clear natural pools and nature walks in the 22 hectares of jungle. Later in the afternoon we will visit Machia´s Park, a project based in rehabilitating domesticated animals and taking them back to their natural habitat, the jungle. Dinner and accommodation. Day 2.‐ Breakfast, 4hour walk to the Carrasco National Park to visit the sanctuary of wildlife ”Cavernas del Repechon”. CB 3 ‐ TORO TORO – CAVE EXPLORING AND NATURE HIKE
Day 1 – 30 minute flight to Toro Toro where guests will register at a comfortable hostal.
1 hour walk to “Pozas Beatas”named after their shape. On the way guests will appreciate interesting rock and cave drawings of more than 1000 years old. These paintings are of geometrical shapes that look like rings around the sun. After lunch and a brief rest guests will embark on a 3 hour (out and back total time 3 hours) to visit a site named the “7 vueltas”, where we’ll observe the fossilised remains of animals and plants. Dinner will be served at the hostal.
Day 2 – After breakfast we will begin a 2hour walk to visit the caves of “Uma Jalanta” (aprox.10km away). They caves are a challenge for adventurers, in the interior you’ll find stalagmites, white calcarian rock, shaped by the passing of the centuries. Deeper in, guests will observe a lagoon of calm waters habitated by “Blind fish”, a very rare phenomenon and this is one of few places where they can be found.
Lunch will be served on route. Walk to the dinosaur footprints, approximately 80million years old dating back to the “Mesozoic period”. Dinner will be served in the hostal.
Day 3 – After breakfast guests will embark on a 3 hour walk to visit the “Vergel” or “Waca Senga”
(cow’s nose). You’ll enjoy a dip in the transparent waters formed by waterfalls made of and in the shape of petrified moss. Guests will marvel at the great hunks of pink rock washed over by the same waterfalls. Guests will return to the town, have lunch and embark on their flight to Cochabamba.
This tour can also be made by land in 5 hours, with a snack along the way. With the exception of crossing the Caine River the rest of the program is the same.

SR 1 ‐ SUCRE – POTOSI ‐
Day 1 – Travel by air from Santa Cruz to Sucre, flying for approximately 2 hours. Accommodation in the hostal Patrimonio. Departure at 10:30 for a City tour: Sucre in colonial times: Temples, convents, squares and the first streets of the city (Plaza Pedro Anzures, Mirador and Museum of the Recolecta, Church of San Lazarol. Santa Clara and Anzures, Mirador and Museo de la Recoleta, Church of San Lazaro, Santa Clara and the Museo de Arte Indígena). Alter a delicious lunch, guests will visit the dinosaur prints. Dinner and back to the hotel.
Day 2 ‐ Breakfast, departure to the Refuge Andino Bramadero (1hour away). Snack, walk in the forest and have lunch. Walk around the Capilla de Chataquita and the Cresta del Cerro Torrecilla, to the Roca de Gallo Diabolico. After dinner guests will have the opportunity to have an astronomic session vith a telescope. Night will be spent in the Refuge.
Day 3 ‐ Breakst and overland trip to the Salt Desert of Uyuni. Registration in the hotel Los Girasoles, dinner.
Day 4 ‐ Visit to the salt processer, then on to Incahuasi (the island of fish), observing the mountains of salt. Guests will be able to take a short hike of the island, appreciating the view, fauna and diversity of gigantic cacti. Lunch will be served on the island and later guests will travel to the village of Uyuni, take a short walk around then continue our trip to the city of Potosi. Dinner and the night in the hotel.
Day 5 – After a hearty breakfast guests will tour the Casa Real de la Moneda, Church of San Francisco and its exterior before having lunch. In the afternoon guests will walk around the Miner´s market. and, visit the Mina Privada (Private Mine). Departure and return to the city of Sucre. Return to Santa Cruz by air.

LP 1. – TIWANAKU – CULTURAL WORLD HERITAGE SITE
Duration: Full day.
Depart for the most important archeological centre of Bolivia, Tiwanaku, 72km away from the city of La Paz.
Travel to a natural lookout called Lloco Lloco to observe the immense Andean tableau, a sacred lake and the some of the highest peaks of the Andean Cordillera.
Continue our tour to the archaeological centre of Tiawanaku to visit the museums where the last vestiges of the Pre‐Columbian culture are located, later guests will walk around the complex where they may observe the pyramid of Akapana, Kantatayita, the sub terrainian temple, Kalasasaya, the sarcophagus of de Putini, The door of the Sun, the Temple of Pumapunku, etc.
Travel down the principal routes of the Tiahuanacu people, guests will be provided with a historical explanation and have the chance to see the architecture of the Nacional Monument Church. Return to the city of La Paz and along the way visit the town of Laja, a historic site where the city of La Paz was founded originally.

LP 2.‐ TITICACA CATAMARAN –
Full Day.
Depart from La Paz to Copacabana, overland tour of about 30 minutes to the Cathedral and main square of Copacabana. Depart for the Island of the sun in catamaran (1 hour). Lunch will be served buffet style on board. Guests will tour the south side of the island for approximately 2 hours, including visits to The Inca’s Garden, Incan Steps, The Sacred Incan Fountain, Inti Wata
Comlex, and Ancestral Ceremonial area Kallawaya.
Guests will also in an ancestral demonstration of navigation in totora (reed) boats while enjoying the view of the Inca’s Palace of Pilkokaína. Included: bilingual guide, all shared transportation. Note: Change of Catamarán at the Island of the Sun.

LP 3. ‐ LAKE TITICACA – COPACABANA – ISLAND OF THE SUN 2 Days/1 Night
Day 1.‐ Depart for the village of Copacabana. On the way guests will observe the spectacular views as well as the different situated along the lake.
Arrive at the sanctuary of Copacabana, accommodation in the main
hostal, lunch.
Observatory of the Horca del Inca, then on to the tribunal of the Inca, a few minutes away from the center of the village, visit the hacienda of the Inca Yupanki (Incan baths). Return to Copacabana.
Day 2.‐ Depart for the island of the Sun. Visit the Incan Steps, The Sacred Incan Fountain and the Palace of Pilcocaina.
Return to Copacabana while navigating the highest lake in the world. Lunch.

LP 4.‐ HYDROFOIL CRUISE – LAKE TITICACA AND THE INCA TRAIL
Duration: 3 days / 2 nights
Accommodation in HUATAJATA, the Inca Utama Hotel & Spa – 5*, it offers rooms with all the facilities of a 5 star hotel.
On the Island of the Sun, the Posada del Inca offers rooms with electric converters, restaurant with views of the lake.
Day 1. ‐ In the afternoon (13:45), depart by bus. Arrive at the hotel Inca Utama & Spa (5*). Registration. Visit the museum of the Altiplano, Eco‐ village Andine Roots and learn about the mystic world of the Kallawayas. Dinner a la carte.
Day 2. ‐ Breakfast, Cruise in hydrofoil around the lake visit the remains of the IÑAKUYU on the Island of the Moon (exclusive), the sanctuary of Copacabana and the famous “MAMITA DE LAGO”. We will continue to the ruins of Pilcocaina
(Temple of the Sun) on the Island of the Sun.
After a short walk through Incaic paths we will arrive at an ecological shelter “Posada del Inca”. Lunch. Afternoon is free for personal activities. Dinner.
Day 3. ‐ The morning is free for personal activities. Guests may relax in the Incan Garden or on the Incan steps near the Sacred Fountain. Lunch will be served in our panoramic restaurant, UMA KOLLU on the island of the sun. Return in hydrofoil to Huatajata and continue by bus to La Paz. Arrival in La Paz at approximately 19:30.

LP 5. ‐ LA PAZ ‐ COPACABANA AND LAKE TITICACA
Day 1.‐ Arrive in the city of La Paz, accommodation in hotel Calacoto 3*, located in a residential area of the city. Breakfast, free morning.
Visit to the Devil’s Tooth, from where guests will appreciate the spectacular views of the city and its surroundings.
Visitors will have the opportunity to walk around the most important commercial area of the city before dinner then back to the hotel.
Day 2. ‐ 8 am – Depart for Copacabana, 2 days‐1 night. The route along the lake affords the opportunity to appreciate the spectacular views. Visit the Island of the Sun, temple of Pilkokaina, the Steps of Yumani and agricultural terraces, night in a hotel on the Island of the Sun.
Day 3. ‐ Breakfast and an early visit to the Orca del Inca, where guests will be able to see the sun rise on the lake. City tour of Copacabana, visit the sanctuary of the virgin of Candelaria, traditional markets, textile shops. Lunch. Transport from Copacabana to La Paz. Accommodation in the hotel Calacoto.
Day 4.‐ Breakfast, visit the ruins of Tiwanaku, visit the town of Laja where the city of La Paz was founded originally before visiting the ruins of the museum that bears the same name, a place where architectural samples of past cultures (Tiwanakota) are saved. Return to the city of La Paz. Included: Specialized guide from La Paz.

LP 6.‐ WALK APOLOBAMBA´S PARK – CORDILLERA DE LOS ANDES ‐
AGUA BLANCA “PELECHUCO” – LAGUNILLAS “CUEVA”.
Day 1.‐ Pickup from the hotel and taken to the bus station where guests will depart for the village of AGUA BLANCA (9 hours). Upon arrival guests may get comfortable in their accommodations and rest for the next day. Day 2.‐ Breakfast to charge the batteries before beginning the walk. Starting in Agua
Blanca then passing the village of Pelechuco, on towards Itapalluni, Keansani 4739 meters above sea level. Here guests will begin their descent to the river of the same name and arrive in Palca. (First campsite). Estimated hiking time: 7 hours. Grade of difficulty: high, most of the way we are ascending.
Day 3.‐ After breakfast the hike will continue with a descent to the community of HILO HILO (4010 meters above sea level) a small community dedicated to mining and llama farming. From here guests will go up a little hill and arrive at Piedra
Grande (4116masl) where they will have lunch and recharge the batteries. This brings our visitors to their biggest challenge, SUNCHULLI (5100masl) the highest point of trek. From here we will descent to a height of 4719masl. Where we will camp and rest. Estimated walking time: 9 hours. Grade of difficulty: Average.
Day 4.‐After breakfast guests will continue on to Apacheta (Viscachani) (4833masl) which limits the provinces of Bautista Saavedra and Franz Tamayo. Guests will descend to the lagoon Qellwa Khota where we will have lunch and then go to Apacheta (4597masl) where they will observe the snowy Akhamani and Illampu
peaks. Finally guests will arrive at Incacancha where they will spend the night. Estimated hiking time: 8 hours. Grade of difficulty: high to average.

LP6. ‐ CAMINATA ‐ PARQUE APOLOBAMBA – CORDILLERA DE LOS ANDES AGUA BLANCA “PELECHUCO” – LAGUNILLAS “CURVA” ‐ 6 Días/ 5 Noches
Day 5‐ After breakfast guests will ascend Apacheta Tambillo (4679masl). Here they will have an incredible view of the snow‐covered Akhamani (5700masl) a place considered sacred by the Kallawayas. Guests will descend to játumpamapa, a place where they will be able to interact with llamas (3984msnm). They will then descend to the river and after a hike of about 4 hours will arrive in the village of Lagunillas
which is the official end of this trek. Estimated hiking time: 8 hours, grade of difficulty: high in the morning and low in the afternoon.
Note: In case of not finding transport in Lagunillas it will be necessary to continue to the village of Charazani and rest here in the hotel Inti Wasi.
Day 6.‐ After 4 days of trekking our guests deserve some pampering. After breakfast they have the opportunity to take advantage of the thermal waters of Charazini, have lunch and some free time before going to the bus stop. Return to the city of La Paz and their hotel.

We’ll visit Las Chullpas de Chusa Qéri, and see the primitive paintings of CALA CALA and lithographs of POOPO, where you’ll find rock carvings and diverse figures of animals, men and Andean constellations. Guests will have the sensation of being some of the first tourists to this site.

OR2‐ ORURO – TRADITIONAL SAJAMA
Duration: 2 Days / 1 Night
Day 1: Guests will visit the pre‐Columbian Chullpas of Callapa, we’ll also make a stop by the church of Curahuara
of Carangas, also called as La Capilla Sixtina del Altiplano
(the Sistine Chapel of the Altiplano), because all its walls are covered by Colonial paintings. Upon arriving to the National Park of Sajama, guests will register with the Park Rangers and have lunch. After lunch we will visit the lagoon of Huayña Kota and take a nature walk through the forest of Keñuas before returning to the town of Sajama
where they will spend the night in traditional accommodation in town.
Day 2 ‐ Visit to Geisers in the zone of Junthuta, visitors will take a fieldtrip to the thermal waters of Kasilla, where they may take a medicinal bath, and have lunch in the town of Saijama. In the afternoon, guests will return to the towns of Oruro or La Paz stopping on the way in the town of Lagunas.
