CHRISTOPH HÖß
Johannes ist einer der bekanntesten Biker im Ötztal. Er
war in den letzten Jahren u.a. Chefmechaniker beim
Haibike Ötztal Mountainbiketeam und ist jetzt als Bikeguide
aktiv. Er ist jahrelang Mountainbikerennen gefahren und
möchte jetzt nochmal im Endurobereich voll durchstarten.
Christoph ist mit seinen erst 18 Jahren der Youngster im Team.
Seit seinem dritten Lebensjahr dreht sich in seinem Leben
alles rund ums Biken und die Berge.
2015 hat er bereits zwei Amateurwertungen in der EnduroSeries gewonnen und 2016 möchte er an diese Erfolge in
der Lizenzklasse anknüpfen.
Johannes is one of the most well-known riders of
the Ötztal. He has worked for the Haibike Ötztal
Mountainbiketeam as a mechanic and is also a bike
guide. He has previously raced mountain bike races and
now he wishes to restart his career on our XTB 175.
Christoph at 18 years old, is our youngest team rider.
For 15 years, riding and the mountains have been at the
center of his life. In 2015 he won two amateur-categories
and his goal for 2016 is to be established in the licence category.
MARKUS INREITER
MICHAEL SCHOMANN
Markus kommt aus Österreich und arbeitet im Sommer
in Sölden, wo er für die Planung und den Neubau
von Biketrails zuständig ist. In der Zwischensaison
ist er auch gern mal in anderen Regionen, wie z.B.
Südfrankreich, als Bikeguide unterwegs.
Micha ist der Oldie mit der meisten Actionsport Erfahrung
im Team. 2010 hat ihn der MTB Virus infiziert. Da Michi
ein erfahrener Actionfotograf ist, wird er das Team
bei gemeinsamen Rides und Rennen mit der Kamera
begleiten.
Markus from Sölden, Austria, is responsible for
building new trails. In the shoulder season he loves
to explore other areas such as in France or The Canary
Islands.
Micha is the gold of the team. With more than 20 years
of experience in the actionsports scene, Micha- as a
professional photographer will capture the best action
shots of our riders.

CHRISTOPH PFAFFENBICHLER
Christoph ist 26 und ausgebildeter Mountainbike- und
Downhill-Freerideguide. Seine Rennsaison 2015 war auf
Grund einer Verletzung bereits im Mai vorbei aber seit
Oktober macht er die Trails wieder unsicher und ist
motiviert in der Saison 2016 voll anzugreifen.
Julian ist 22 und seit 5 Jahren mit dem Bikevirus infiziert.
Am liebsten fährt er in die Alpen zum Biken und dort ist er
2012 auch bei seinem ersten Rennengestartet.

season was very short due to an injuring, however since
October last year he is back on his bike and motivated to
race for our team.
Julian is 22 years old and has been riding since 5
years of age. His favourite biking areas are The Alps.

5 Tage, Oberstdorf nach Riva: Direttissima, 365km, 12.265hm, vier
corratec Worker & Rider, drei InsideLink 10Hz 140 und Passion pur.
Die erstmals 1998 vollständig befahrene „Joe-Direttissima“ von
Oberstdorf zum Gardasee ist eine der extremsten Überquerungen der
Ostalpen. Landschaftlich überwältigend, alpin bis hochalpin, versehen mit anspruchsvollen Trails und wenigen Tragepassagen. Frank,
Holger, Manfred und ich (Günther) starten von Oberstdorf in Richtung
Ischgl. Von dort aus hoch zur Heidelberger Hütte und weiter zum
Firmbergpass auf 2.608m. Nach einem harten Sturz geht es weiter
über den Tarscherpass auf 2.351m und über das Rabbijoch nach Dimaro. Von dort aus über den letzten kleinen Pass zum Lago Tenno und
der Blick nach Riva ist frei. Mein Insidelink habe ich extra schwarzgold für diese Tour umlackiert und mit der Pike und SRAM GX 2-fach
ausgestattet. Es wird mich auch 2016 wieder über die Alpen bringen.
Fazit: Wer die Alpen rocken will, hat mit dem InsideLink 10Hz 140

From Oberstdorf to Riva, Joe-Route: Direttissima Tour. A total distance of 365km, climbing at 12.265 metres, for five days. Four Corratec ambassadors, three InsideLink 10Hz 140 and fuel of pure passion.
In 1998 the Joe-Route was developed. It is the first direct
route starting at Oberstdorf to Lake Garda, following a
straight ruled line trace. This route is no doubt one of the
most extreme crossings through the eastern-alps, but the
rewards exceed the thrill-seeker’s challenge. The Alpine
trail boasts scenic views, demanding passages and daring
paths. “Frank, Holger, Manfred and I started in Oberstdorf
to Ischgl. We then biked up to the Heidelberger Hütte and
the Firmbergpass on 2.608 metres. After a hard route we
continued our tour and we climbed the 2.351 metres high
Tarscherpass and the Rabbijoch. From Dimaro we
only needed to cross the last mountain to Lago
Tenno and finally we could see Riva. I had painted
my InsideLink black-gold for this special tour and
equipped with the Pike and SRAM GX 2x. In 2016
the bike will bring me across The Alps too.”

den ersten Singletrail (XTB RIDE) der Region,
der zeitgleich auch der erste E-Bike-Trail weltweit ist.
Der 4,5km lange und 1-1, 2m breite Singletrail integriert sich super in die bestehende
Landschaft, da bestehende Wurzelpassagen naturnah belassen wurden und durch
Anliegerkurven, sowie zahlreiche Jumps ergänzt werden. Das Ergebnis: Ein flowiger
aber dennoch anspruchsvollen und fetziger Trail, der auch die Herzen von erfahrenen

It will be the first E-Bike-Trail in the world.
The single trail is a 4,5km long and 1-1,2m wide route that is perfectly integrated with
the existing natural landscape.
The natural growth of the tree roots provide the best bends, ramps and overall stimulating adventure. It will be a challenging and thrilling trail suitable for both experienced and beginner riders.
It works in association with locals, offering an express route uphill using the 8-per-
stieg.
