Innova*ve System Railway Sta*ons (ISRS) represent a new concept of railway sta*on modernisa*on. The sta*ons will be developed according to a standard model and, depending on specific loca-on, will vary only in details. One-‐storey buildings of the railway sta-ons will be constructed from processed elements and will be environment friendly and economical in their maintenance. ISRS will be built in those loca-ons where the exis-ng railway sta-ons are too big and inadequate to meet local needs. ISRS will combine passenger service with urban and commercial func*ons. Each ISRS will consist of three modules: railway sta-on, urban and parking. Ecological solu*ons: heat pumps, solar panels. Dynamic illumina*on – an integrated system which will illuminate the railway sta-on to signal arrival of a train. Opening of the first ISRS is planned for mid-‐2015. www.pkpsa.pl
