The Gill Seating Range
The Gill seating system range has been continually developed by RMS over the past 40 years.
As a result we now offer four types of seating system, specifically designed to manage the
demanding postural requirements of individual users.
Gill 3
All Gill Seating Systems are successfully crash
tested to ISO 16840 - 4
An adjustable seating system which can be
interfaced into most manual and powered
wheelchairs.
Gill Junior
Available in two sizes for use in either a static
or mobility base. A fully adjustable seating
system which can grow with an individual.
Gill 4
A dynamic one piece seating system. The
dynamic backrest allows the user to extend
safely whilst ensuring that the posture is
returned to the neutral starting position.
Gill 2
Available in four sizes for use in either
a fixed or tilting manual wheelchair.
One piece modular seating system
which is fully adjustable.

NXT Backrests
NXT Cushions
The NXT Back Support Series offers a range of contours to provide
posterior, posterior lateral and posterior deep lateral support. The
scapula cut-out shape is designed to provide excellent support and
comfort while enhancing the users natural range of motion. For
optimal positioning of the pelvis, pelvic lumbar support pads can
be uniquely positioned to customise the fit for the user.

Head Switches
The kit is supplied in a lightweight carry box
and is available in either adult or child size.
This kit will allow you to build 4 head supports 3 complex and 1 simple - from the range
of 24 at any given time.
The switch can be used in different positions in
the head support, more than one switch can be
used. The switch is inserted under the top layer of
the Head rest cover.

Quick Release Mounting Frame Kit
Quick Release Mounting Frame Kit
The Quick Release Mounting Frame is designed to achieve the following points.
•A
ttachment of headrests onto wheelchairs with canvas backrests. Headrest mounting bracket is
designed to accept various headrests with either 13mm or 16mm square mounting brackets.
•A
ttachment of harness top straps onto wheelchairs with canvas backrests. This is height adjustable
to ensure the correct harness position to maintain a good upright posture.
•M
aintains backrest tension by preventing movement in the backrest tubes
Mounting frame is fully width adjustable to suit a wide range of wheelchairs.
•H
ead support can be used whilst being transported in a motor vehicle. Has successfully been
tested in Frontal Impact Test.
•M
ounting brackets are designed to fit directly onto the wheelchair backrest frame or onto the
wheelchair backrest with a wrap around backrest canvas.
• Cross brace frames are supplied with upper harness webbing guides as standard.
QRMF 1/15
• This kit has been subject to a successful
Frontal Impact Test and is suitable for
clients during transportation in motor
vehicles.

The Rollercoaster head support has been successfully
fitted to a wide range of seating systems and posture
management equipment including CAPS, Gill Seating
Systems, R82, Xpanda and Leckey Advanced seat units.
It has also been fitted to Rea Assist and Chunc wheelchairs

A Tension Adjustable Backrest is designed to replace a sling back. It has a number of horizontal

Drop in Seats, Kneeblocks & Pommels
The standard seat canvas supplied with a wheelchair has a tendency to stretch and sag, providing
insufficient support. A Drop In Seat may be used as an alternative.
When using a Drop In Seat, the original wheelchair seat canvas is removed and a rigid seat board,
mounted on four drop-hooks, is mounted directly onto the wheelchair frame. Virtually any choice
of cushion may then be mounted onto the seat board.
A Drop In Seat also allows the fitting of positioning accessories like pommels and kneeblocks.

Lock & Latch Systems
The Lock & Latch System enables Drop-in seats and
Backrests to be quickly and securely attached to the
wheelchair frame.
The Latch Mounting is suitable for retaining either backrest
or seat base drop-hooks in position on the wheelchair frame.
Equipped with the simple Push-Pull slide action locking pin,
this device has been designed with strength, ease of operation
and durability in mind.
The Lock Mounting offers a solid, fixed receiver for lower
backrest brackets or rear seat base drop-hooks.
