Other FAQs • Fish are the only pets welcome at the Waterfront Lofts. • Cable TV service is available for installation in each unit. Residents are responsible for installation and monthly charges. • Students who are of legal age may possess alcohol in their loft/studio. Please review this new policy at www.hpu.edu/studenthandbook. • There is no student parking at the Waterfront Lofts. • The lofts are air conditioned. • More FAQ’s located at www.hpu.edu/waterfrontlofts Important Policies • The Waterfront Lofts are non-smoking (including e-cigs) • Students may smoke in designated smoking areas • The Waterfront Lofts are “Dry” for all residents under the age of 21 • No alcohol or empty bottles/cans are permitted if under 21. • No shot glasses or other paraphernalia if under 21. • The Waterfront Lofts is a drug free complex • No drugs. • No pipes, no bongs, no hookahs, etc. • Violations of the University Drug and Alcohol Policy can lead to eviction with no refunds. Waterfront Lofts Alcohol Policy • Residents 21+ can possess and are responsible for their alcohol beverages in their unit. • Consumption of alcohol is prohibited in all public and common areas • Students 21+ can consume alcohol in their loft/studio with the door closed • Students, regardless of age, are prohibited from being under the influence of alcohol or intoxicated on a lanai • Equipment or supplies used in drinking games or to promote excessive drinking (e.g., beer pong tables) are prohibited • Further details regarding the alcohol policy can be found at www.hpu.edu/studenthandbook or by emailing [email protected] Quiet Hours & Guests • Quiet Hours • Set by your building community, but we start the year at: • 11 pm – 8 am Sunday – Thursday • 1 am – 8 am Friday & Saturday • Courtesy Hours - Always • Finals Week Quiet Hours – 24 hour/day • Guests • Guests are welcome during the day, but must be escorted. • Overnight guests (over 18) are required to pre-register for safety and security.
