Die Wurzeln der Seidenweberei Reutlingen gehen auf den
Schweizer Fabrikanten Alfred Rutschi
zuruck, der im Jahre 1901 eine
Firma grundete, die bereits drei Jahre
spater, im Jahre 1904 ihre Heimat in
Reutlingen fand. Seit 1997 gehort die
Seidenweberei Reutlingen zur DaunGruppe. Hochster Qualitatsstandard
und ihre Innovationskraft machten
die Seidenweberei Reutlingen in den
vergangenen Jahren zu einem der
fuhrenden Anbieter technischer Gewebe in Europa.
The roots of the Seidenweberei Reut­
lingen lie with the Swiss industrialist
Alfred Rutschi. He founded a com­
pany in the year 1901 which made its
home three years later in Reutlingen
in 1904. Since 1997 the silk weaving
mill Reutlingen has belonged to the
Daun group. Over the last few years
the highest standards of quality and
powers of innovation has m a d e the
Seidenweberei Reutlingen one of the
leading suppliers of technical fabrics
in Europe.
Die Webatex GmbH ist aus der
1853 gegrundeten Mechanischen
Baumwoll-Spinnerei und Weberei
Bayreuth AG hervorgegangen. Bereits
1979 engagierte sich Claas E. Daun
in Bayreuth. Das Unternehmen gehort
damit zu den ersten Textilunternehmen
im Verbund der heute weltweit tdtigen
Daun-Gruppe. Die Webatex GmbH
steht fur bedeutende Kompetenz im

In 1979 Claas E. Daun joined the team
in Bayreuth.The business comprises
the first textile company associated
with the Daun group, now active

For example, fabrics are woven from filament and staple
fibre yarns to a width of 3.80 m. For these purposes, the
most up-to-date machines (projectile a n d air-jet weaving
