Lederer Music ‘Kaiho’ and ‘Folkart Films’ (freesound.org) Software Illustrator, After Effects Description • To create a short a short animation taking inspiration from the Tatty Devine Hot House jewellery in the S/S13 collection. • Our response was to gather the essence of the collection and, keeping with the theme of Eastern countries, display it in the form of a travelling mandala, overlaid with the relaxing sound of a sitar and tropical jungle sounds. • Screening at London Short Film Festival, January 2014. A fascinating array of curiosities circling before you… This is one of my favourite entries! I love the soundtrack and the way Charlotte incorporated elements of the collection in the pattern. Lederer Music Raggaman (freesound.org) Software Illustrator, After Effects Description • To create a short (less than 2 min) film or animation in response to the title “I Always Wanted To Show You This…” • Our response is a visualisation of a thought process to reveal a feeling in an over-complicated yet fun way. It’s easy to get the ball rolling, but if your scissors are too blunt, or if we can’t melt the ice, then simply nothing will happen. It’s a delicate system where everything must work in perfect succession to achieve the end result. …we were blown away by your brilliant animation Libby at Rob Ryan’s Studio 2011 Description • Freelance designer for NNF since 2009. • Designing for print and screen. • Style set by East Publishing (until 2011) and by Silk Peirce (from 2012). An Idea so eloquent and so practical, it is difficult to imagine life without it. VEW is one such idea that is not only original, but works: it does everything that it is suppose to.
