Play as a learning process
Spielen ist für Kinder eine Ausdrucksform, die ihrer jeweiligen Lebensphase
entspricht. Der kindliche Spieltrieb stärkt
die motorischen Kompetenzen ebenso
wie auch die geistigen Fähigkeiten.
Bevor ein Kind etwas begreifen kann,
muss es seine Umwelt fassen können.
Erst wenn es alle Sinne erprobt hat,
kann es Zusammenhänge erkennen. Das
spielerische Erkunden und Entdecken ist
demnach elementare Grundlage für eine
gesunde Entwicklung.
Play is a form of expression for children,
and one which corresponds to each
phase of their life. A child’s urge to play
strengthens motor skills as well as intellectual capabilities. To truly understand
something, children must first be able to
experience it within their environment.
Only when they have explored it using
all their senses can they recognise its
interconnections. Playful exploration and
discovery are therefore basic foundations
for healthy development.
