Knot hole or damage in your wood material? They can now be repaired!
Loose knots, large scratches and damages on edges can now be perfectly repaired with Thermelt®
Knot Filler by Rangate. Our Knot Filler is made from polyamide / nylon, which has been specially
developed to bond wood without developing cracks or shrinkage.
The Knot Filler selection depends on the material types and
finishing colors. We offer fourteen (14) different combinations of
polyamide colors and types to best suit your applications.
The repair is easy to make as the Thermelt® Filler is applied with a
Knot Filler gun. After applying, the surplus Filler is then removed
with a sharp cutting tool or chisel immediately. The surface
becomes smooth and is ready for any finishing treatment. The Knot
Filler accepts all forms of surface treatments.
For special applications, Thermelt® 162, a hard and sand-able
polyamide Knot Filler, is specially made for the flooring industry,
where a high heating resistance on the Filler is required.
Thermelt® Knot Filler is available in three (3) types:
813-series: For cutting
134-series: For cutting and sanding
162-series: For sanding
