CeMAT 2016 mit Schwerpunkt
Logistics IT
Mit der CeMAT (31. Mai bis zum 3. Juni 2016) bietet die Deutsche Messe
AG der Branche die weltweit bedeutendste Messe für Intralogistik und Supply
Chain Management. Sie wird alle zwei Jahre in Hannover ausgerichtet. Mit
dem Leitthema „Smart Supply Chain Solutions“ richtet die CeMAT den Blick
auf die digitalisierte und vernetzte Wertschöpfungskette und setzt einen
Schwerpunkt auf das Thema Logistics IT. Auf der CeMAT erfahren Besucher
aus aller Welt, wie Logistikprozesse künftig automatisiert und vernetzt gesteuert werden können. Dabei geht es um weit mehr als nur die Optimierung
der Prozesse. Mit der Digitalisierung verändern sich Wertschöpfungsketten,
und es entstehen neue Geschäftsmodelle. Wie sich diese Technologietrends
auf die Supply Chain auswirken, erfahren die Besucher auf der CeMAT.
CeMAT 2016 with focus on logistics IT
With CeMAT (31 May to 3 June 2016) Deutsche Messe offers the industry
the world’s leading trade fair for intralogistics and supply chain management.
It is staged every two years in Hannover. The lead theme for CeMAT 2016
is Smart Supply Chain Solutions. In other words, the show will highlight the

pivotal role of logistics in today’s increasingly digitized and integrated industrial value chains. Logistics IT is the focus of CeMAT. The show will present
automation and integrated control solutions for tomorrow’s intelligent, digital
logistics processes. The scope will extend far beyond mere logistics optimization solutions because the digitization trend is revolutionizing entire value
chains and creating completely new business models. CeMAT visitors have
the chance to experience the impact of the latest technology trends on the
supply chain.

CeMAT-Foren
Ein zentraler Bestandteil der kommenden CeMAT sind die Foren. In Kooperation
mit ausgewählten Partnern bietet die Deutsche Messe den Besuchern an
allen Messetagen einen interessanten Mix aus Fachvorträgen und spannenden
Diskussionen rund um die Trendthemen der Intralogistik.
Die Foren finden in den Hallen 13 (Empack / Label&Print), 25 (Key Note
Forum) und 27 (Logistics IT & Automation) statt. Partner sind der VDMA,
die Bundesvereinigung Logistik e. V. (BVL), der Branchenverband BITKOM,
das Fraunhofer IML oder die Fachzeitschriften Logistik Heute, DVZ und f+h.
Im Fokus stehen beispielsweise Veranstaltungen zu den Themen Nachhaltig­
keit, Energieeffizienz und Verpackung sowie Hintergrundinformationen zu

den wichtigsten Ausstellungsbereichen der Messe. Und natürlich wird auch
das Thema Industrie 4.0 in diesem Jahr im Rahmen der CeMAT-Foren diskutiert.
CeMAT Forums
The forums constitute a central component of CeMAT. In cooperation with
selected partners, Deutsche Messe provides visitors with an interesting mix
of expert presentations and discussions focused on the current trends in
intralogistics on each day of the trade fair.
The forums will take place in halls 13 (Empack / Label&Print), 25 (Key Note
Forum) and 27 (Logistics IT & Automation). Partners include the VDMA, BVL,
BITKOM, the Fraunhofer IML and the trade magazines Logistik Heute, DVZ
and f+h. The focus of these is, of course, the core theme of this year’s trade
fair: “Smart Supply Chain Solutions”. Points of discussions will include the
mega trends of digitalization and Industrie 4.0, with all of their associated
opportunities and challenges for intralogistics experts. Events dedicated to
topics such as sustainability, energy efficiency and packaging round out the
wide range the CeMAT forums have to offer.

In diesem Jahr haben CeMAT Besucher erstmals die Möglichkeit, sich ganz
gezielt im Rahmen der Guided Tours über Themengebiete zu informieren.
In the course of guided tours, this year’s CeMAT will – for the first time –

which they hold a particular interest.

Empack & Label & Print
Das Messeduo „Empack“ und „Label&Print“ stärkt die CeMAT im Bereich
Verpackungstechnik. Die Easyfairs Deutschland GmbH organisiert das Messe­­
duo. Damit wurde der Bereich Verpackung auf der CeMAT ausgebaut. Zu
den Ausstellern der „Empack“ zählen vor allem Anbieter von Lösungen für
Transportverpackungen, Verpackungsmaterialien und Packstoffe sowie neueste Maschinen. Die „Label & Print“ ergänzt die „Empack“ als Plattform rund
um die Themen Print und Digitaldruck.

With the incorporation of the two trade shows “Empack” and “Label&Print”
CeMAT further strengthens the packaging sector of the fair. Easyfairs
Deutschland GmbH is organizer of the two shows which will expand the coverage of packaging systems at CeMAT. The exhibitors at Empack provide solutions for transport packaging, packaging materials and machines. The exhibitors of “Label & Print” complements the “Empack with printing, labelling
and finishing technologies.

Sonderschau „Innovative Logistik­
lösungen“
Auf der Sonderschau in Halle 27 erleben Fachbesucher ein didaktisches Highlight. Station für Station können sie der Prozesskette nachgehen – von der
Entladung am Containerterminal bis hin zur Verladetechnik am Warenausgang
und zu dem anschließenden Transport. Zu jedem Prozessschritt stellen die
CeMAT-Aussteller innovative Software- und Techniklösungen vor. Die lebendige Logistikkette besteht aus den fünf Bereichen Transportlogistik, Wareneingang und Entladetechnik, Fördertechnik, Kleinteile kommissionieren und
verpacken, Verladetechnik.
Special “Innovative Logistics
Solutions” display
The Innovative Logistics Solutions showcase in Hall 27 will provide an inspirational and informative look at a fully functional supply chain employing all the latest high tech. Visitors will be able to witness every step,
live in action, from offloading operations at the container terminal right
through to finished goods loading at dispatch and onward transport. The
various links of the process chain will feature the latest software and
hardware solutions on offer by CeMAT exhibitors. CeMAT’s living supply
chain consist of five parts: transport logistics, freight arrival and unloading, goods handling systems, picking and packing small parts, loading
systems.

Das Lebenswerk von Sophie von der Pfalz, der Große Garten Herrenhausen,
gehört zu den besterhaltenen Barockgärten Europas. Lassen Sie sich von den
ornamentreichen Parterrestücken und der mehr als 80 m hohen Fontäne beeindrucken. In den Gewächshäusern des Berggartens finden Sie ca. 11.000
verschiedene Pflanzen. Die Grotte wurde 1676 erbaut und ist von 2001 bis
2003 nach den Plänen von Niki de Saint Phalle neu ausgestaltet worden. Im
Sommer wird der Garten zur Kulisse für die kulturellen Festwochen Herrenhausen. Beim Internationalen Feuerwerkswett­bewerb malen Pyrotechniker
phantastische Gemälde in die Luft.Eine architektonische Meisterleistung
feierte Anfang 2013 Eröffnung: An seinem einstigen Platz wurde Schloss
Herrenhausen als Museum und moderne Ta­gungsstätte hinter rekonstruierter
Fassade neu errichtet.

Herrenhausen and Grotto
The life’s work of Sophie von der Pfalz, the Royal Gardens of Herrenhausen,
is one of Europe’s best-preserved baroque gardens. Marvel at the ornate
bedding designs and the 80-meter high fountain. In the greenhouses of the
Berggarten (Alpine Garden) you will find around 11,000 different varieties of
plants. The Grotto was originally built in 1676 and remodeled from 2001 to
2003, using the designs of Niki de Saint Phalle. In summer, the gardens
become a dream backcloth for the Herrenhausen Festival Weeks; while at
the annual international Firework Competition the pyrotechnists paint fantastic pictures in the air. The beginning of 2013 saw the opening of a new
architectural masterpiece: Herrenhausen Palace has been re-erected on its
original site as a museum and a modern conference centre behind a reproduction of the historic façade.

Auf Entdeckertour
Zum Segeln ans Steinhuder Meer, per Fahrrad durch den Deister, zur Erforschung der Welfen auf die Marienburg: Hannovers Umland bietet eine Fülle
an Ausflugszielen. Im Nordwesten der Region Hannover liegt das Steinhuder Meer. Vom Familienausflug bis zur Segelregatta ist auf diesem 32 km2
großen Gewässer alles möglich. Wie ein fernes Märchenschloss sitzt die
Marienburg auf einer Bergkuppe bei Pattensen. Das Schloss im neugotischen Stil wurde Mitte des 19. Jahrhunderts von König Georg V. als Geschenk für seine Frau Marie errichtet.

find an excursion to their taste in the Hannover Region. To the north-west
of Hannover lies the 32 square kilometre Lake Steinhude, which caters for
everything from family outings to sailing regattas. Marienburg Castle near
the town of Pattensen sits on a hilltop like some­thing out of a fairy tale. The
castle in neo-Gothic style was built in the mid 19th century by King George V.
as a present to his wife, Marie.

You can reach Hanover city center (Main Station) from the airport with the
suburban train line S-Bahn S5 in just 18 minutes. The S-Bahn station is
located directly in Terminal C. From Hannover Main Station to the Exhibition
Grounds (entrances NORD 1 + 2) by tram, line 8, in 17 minutes.
