Verordnung (EG) Nr. 1107/2009
„Bewertung Wirksamkeit“
des Europäischen Parlaments und des Rates
„Stoffe sollten nur dann in Pflanzenschutzmitteln angewandt werden,
wenn nachgewiesen ist, dass sie einen
offensichtlichen Nutzen für die Pflanzenerzeugung bieten
und voraussichtlich keine schädlichen Auswirkungen auf die Gesundheit von
Mensch oder Tier oder unannehmbare Folgen für die Umwelt haben.“

„Daher sollte, bevor ein Pflanzenschutzmittel in Verkehr gebracht wird,
nachgewiesen werden, dass es einen offensichtlichen Vorteil für die
Pflanzenerzeugung bringt
und keine schädlichen Auswirkungen auf die Gesundheit von Menschen,
einschließlich der besonders gefährdeten Personengruppen, oder von
Tieren sowie keine unzulässigen Folgen für die Umwelt hat.“

Pflanzenschutzmittel müssen als Folge der Verwendung entsprechend der
guten Pflanzenschutzpraxis und unter der Voraussetzung realistischer

When both the trial locations and proposed
regions of use are within the same defined
zone, then the applicant may simply refer to
this guidance to establish climate
comparability.

Climate is only one factor that may affect the
efficacy and crop safety of a product. The
applicant still needs to address any other
relevant factors (agronomic, edaphic, targetrelated) when establishing the relevance of
data generated within different countries.
The relative importance of each condition will
depend on various factors including mode of
action of the active substance, formulation
type and intended use.

These zones are presented in Fig. 1, which
also indicates that there is an area of gradual
change in climate between the zones
proposed.

The objective of both the applicant and evaluator is
► to have a comprehensive dataset justifying the performance of the product
across the range of conditions present in the authorization zone.
