What is WS2017?

Registration Form
WS camps have been held in West Sussex for more than 30
years and feature as a high point in the County Scout and Guide
programme. It is an international experience for young people
from around the world, joining in a week of activities together
including:

Water activities, Abseiling, Climbing, Archery, Parascending and
other adventurous & challenging activities. Plus cultural activities,
sub-camp competitions, musical entertainments, social events, live
bands, discos, crafts and even more.
Who can join in?
West Sussex Scouts and Guides
West Sussex Explorer Scouts and Guides Senior Section
(under 18’s)
Fill in the appropriate side of the registration form and return by
post/email.
What happens then?
You will receive a WS2017 registration number and regular
updates, including key payment and deadline dates, which will be
sent by email
What else can we do?
Adults either as leaders with a unit or as part of a WS support team
Visit the WS2017 website www.ws2017.org.uk and Facebook
page and share your suggestions and plans. General updates and
information will be posted on the website regularly.
How much does it cost?
What if we have adults over the 1:6 ratio?
The camp cost is £170 per Young Person participant which includes:

All Groups are responsible for their own food and transport costs
and arrangements.
There will be a launch evening for West Sussex Leaders on a date &
venue to be advised, where you can come along to meet the team
and find out more about the camp.
Please note that there will be no changes to final registrations and
numbers after Sunday 30th April 2017.
