Die Metalldecken im Großflughafen
Berlin–Brandenburg sind ein beeindruckender
Beweis für die Leistungsfähigkeit
von Armstrong. 54.000 Quadratmeter Fläche decken die
Armstrong-Produkte
insgesamt
ab. Im Einzelnen sind es 32.000
Kassetten,
22.000
Knoten,
52.000 Zargen, 150.000 Laufmeter C-Profile sowie 150.000
Laufmeter Profile aus Aluminium.
Architekt und Bauherr wählten
das einfache und effiziente
System K-H 400 spezial in
RAL 7021. Das Konzept: Der
Rauchabzug erfolgt in weiten
Teilen des Gebäudes durch
die abgehängte Decke mittels
eines rauchdurchlässigen Kunststoffgewebes. Dieses ist im
Rahmenraster an inneren Aluminiumprofilen
eingespannt.
Die Lösung nutzt ein Bandraster,
welches
das
Deckendesign
markant
mitbestimmt
und,
wie man sieht, sind dort alle
Serviceelemente
integriert.
Beeindruckend die logistischen
Details: Für den Transport der Bauelemente nach Berlin waren 110
LKW-Ladungen erforderlich. Bis zu
150 Monteure des Unternehmens
K. Rogge Spezialbau GmbH (Berlin)
waren gleichzeitig auf dieser Baustelle beschäftigt. Selbstverständlich erfolgte der Einbau pünktlich
und reibungslos. Das Unternehmen K. Rogge Spezialbau GmbH
war es auch, das gemeinsam mit
Armstrong Metalldecken diese
Lösung für den Architekten
entwickelte.

The metal ceilings at the
Berlin–Brandenburg hub
airport are the impressive evidence of Armstrong‘s capabilities. Armstrong products cover
an area of 54,000 square metres. Individually, this is made up
of 32,000 square tiles, 22,000
crossing boxes, 52,000 frames,
150,000 running metres of Cprofiles and 150,000 running
metres of aluminium profiles.
The architect and owner of the
building selected the simple,
efficient K-H 400 system
specifically in RAL 7021. The
concept: smoke extraction in
many parts of the building is
carried out through the suspended ceiling by means of a
smoke-permeable plastic fabric.
This is fixed to inner aluminium
profiles in the frame grid. The
solution uses a linear grid, which
has a significant influence on the
ceiling design and, as can be
seen, all service elements are
integrated there. The logistical
details are impressive: 110 lorry
loads were required to transport
the structural elements to Berlin.
Up to 150 fitters of the company
K. Rogge Spezialbau GmbH
(Berlin) were employed simultaneously at this construction site.
Naturally, installation was carried
out smoothly and on schedule.

developed this solution for the
architect
together
with
Armstrong Metal Ceilings.

Alle Achtung:
Das neue Armstrong
Akustik Canopy mit integrierten LED-Leuchten kann
man
vielseitig
einsetzen,
z. B. über Besprechungs- oder
Konferenztischen, Empfangstheken und
Rezeptionen.
Drei Formen sind lieferbar:
konkav, konvex und flach. Weil
das Canopy von beiden Seiten
den Schall absorbiert, ist dieses
Deckensegel mit drei Sabines
bei 1kHz akustisch hochwirksam. Die LED-Längsleuchten
liefern eine Beleuchtungsstärke
von 490 Lux bei einer Abhängehöhe von 1,50 Meter über dem
Arbeitsplatz und sehr weiches
Licht. Das Canopy ist mit der
Extra Mikroperforation Rg 0701
ausgestattet, kommt mit einem
schwarzen Akustikvlies und
einer
20-mm-Akustikeinlage
(25 kg/m2) und allen Unterkonstruktionsmaterialien ready for
use. Die Montage geht einfach
von der Hand.

The
new
Armstrong
Acoustic Canopy with integrated LED lights has a wide
range of uses, for example
above meeting or conference
tables or reception counters.
Three shapes are available:
concave, convex and flat. Because the canopy absorbs
sound from both sides, it is
acoustically highly effective with
three Sabines at 1kHz. The
longitudinal LED lights provide
illuminance of 490 Lux with a
suspended height of 1.50 metres above the workplace and
very soft light. The canopy is
equipped with an Extra Microperforation of Rg 0701 and is
supplied ready for use with a
black acoustic fleece and a
20 mm acoustic inlay (25 kg/m²)
and all sub-structure materials.

auf der
BAU ist
das „Easy Canopy“ von
Armstrong. Dabei handelt es sich
um ein leicht zu montierendes,
flaches Canopy in Metall,
das in zwei Standardgrößen
(1200 mm x 1200 mm bzw.
1200 mm x 1800 mm) als
Komplettpaket samt Abhängesets geliefert wird. Es überzeugt
durch sein Preis-LeistungsVerhältnis, erfüllt die gängigen
akustischen Anforderungen und
ist standardmäßig mit der Perforation Rd 1522 und in RAL
9010 ausgeführt.

Another new product at
the BAU trade fair is
the „Easy Canopy“ from
Armstrong. This is an easy-toinstall flat metal canopy,
available in two standard sizes
(1200 mm x 1200 mm or
1200 mm x 1800 mm) as
a complete package including
sub-structure
kit.
The cost-benefit ratio is impressive, it complies with the
conventional acoustic requirements and is produced as standard with perforation Rd 1522

Das Ergebnis ist ein gleichsam
ruhiges wie homogenes Erscheinungsbild an der Decke:
Beleuchtungskörper, Lichtbänder, Luftstromverteiler, Sprinkleranlagen oder Lautsprecher sind
nicht mehr über die gesamte
Decke verteilt, sondern verlaufen geordnet in technischen Zonen parallel bzw. senkrecht zur

The result is an even, calm and

air flow distributors, sprinkler units or loudspeakers are
no longer distributed over the
whole ceiling but run in orderly
technical zones parallel or vertical to the facade. The versatile
solution is especially suitable for
open-plan offices.

component activation
In addition, the „Tech Zone“
concept can be combined with
an Axiom canopy. It thus also
provides design solutions for
ceilings with thermal component activation.
