Cari genitori, cari studenti della Scuola Germanica Roma, Per meglio informarvi sulle offerte e notizie provenienti dalle università e altre
istituzioni educative italiane, tedesche e di altri paesi europei, il Dipartimento di
Orientamento della Deutsche Schule Rom ha deciso che d’ora in poi pubblicherà
una newsletter periodica.
Infatti, ritengo sia fondamentale che tutti i genitori e gli studenti siano informati
sulle offerte che la Scuola riceve. E questo può essere realizzato proprio tramite
la newsletter. Pertanto, sarei davvero felice di ricevere i vostri suggerimenti ed
impressioni in merito, ma anche ulteriori idee.
In particolare, vorrei discutere brevemente le seguenti offerte dalla prima newsletter: -­‐ La settimana di studio “di prova” alla Università Tecnica di Dresda per gli studenti interessati alle Scienze Naturali. Durante questa settimana gli studenti potranno avere un’esperienza approfondita dello studio di materie come, per esempio, Fisica o Ingegneria. -­‐ Una borsa di studio fornita dalla università privata Frankfurt School of Economics,
solo per gli studenti delle scuole tedesche all'estero nelle materie dell’economia. Si tratta di un’occasione molto vantaggiosa, perché il costo degli studi in questa università privata normalmente sono molto alti. Ritengo inoltre che ci siano buone possibilità per gli studenti di ottenere una borsa di studio. -­‐ La borsa di studio di BayBIDS, anch’essa destinata specificamente per gli studenti delle scuole tedesche all'estero che desiderano studiare in una università bavarese. -­‐ la (Facoltà di Ingegneria Civile e Industriale) della “Sapienza” -­‐ Università di Roma allestisce un seminario formativo per la Preparazione ai test di Ingresso all’università. Spero che questa newsletter sia di vostro interesse e aspetto i vostri commenti. 2 Liebe Eltern, liebe Schülerinnen und Schüler der Deutschen Schule Rom,
um Sie/euch besser über Angebote und Informationen von Universitäten und
anderen Bildungseinrichtungen aus Italien, Deutschland und anderen Ländern
Europas zu informieren, soll zukünftig regelmäßig ein Newsletter erstellt
werden, in dem interessante Angebote, welche die Studien- und Berufsberatung
der Deutschen Schule Rom erhält, gesammelt und von Ihnen/von euch studiert
werden können.
Ein großes Bedürfnis ist es für mich, dass möglichst alle Eltern und Schüler über
die Angebote informiert werden. Dies kann mit diesem Format meiner Meinung
nach am ehesten erreicht werden. Für weitere Ideen, Änderungswünsche etc. bin
ich dankbar.
In diesem ersten Newsletter möchte ich auf vier Angebote besonders hinweisen:
-­‐ die Probestudienwoche an der TU Dresden für Interessenten
naturwissenschaftlicher Studiengänge. Hier wird allen Interessenten ein
praktischer darin Einblick geboten, was sich zum Beispiel hinter einem
Ingenieursstudium verbirgt.
-­‐ ein Vollstipendium der Frankfurt School of Economics für Absolventen
deutscher Auslandsschulen. Die Qualität von privaten Hochschulen ist
unterschiedlich, was sie meist alle sind, ist sehr teuer – dies ist ein
Angebot, in dem die hohen Kosten für das Studium von der Hochschule
übernommen werden. Und da der Kreis derer, die sich für die Stelle
bewerben, vermutlich klein sein dürfte, ist die Chance, ein Stipendium zu
bekommen, gar nicht einmal so schlecht
-­‐ das Motivationsstipendium von BayBIDS , welches sich ebenfalls speziell
an Absolventinnen und Absolventen deutscher Auslandsschulen richtet,
die ein Studium an einer bayerischen Hochschule aufnehmen möchten
(siehe „Webinar“ an der Universität Passau)
-­‐ der Hinweis für einen Vorbereitungstest für das Fach
„Ingenieurwissenschaften“ an der Universität La Sapienza.

8 TU9-ING-WOCHE 2014: PROBESTUDIENWOCHE FÜR SCHÜLERINNEN UND SCHÜLER
DEUTSCHER AUSLANDSSCHULEN
07. bis 14.09.2014 an der TU Dresden
Die TU9-ING-Woche richtet sich an Schülerinnen und Schüler von Deutschen Auslandsschulen der 11. Klasse, die
sich für ein technisches oder naturwissenschaftliches Studium interessieren.
Die Teilnehmerinnen und Teilnehmer erhalten eine Woche lang exklusive Einblicke in Studiengänge aus den
Bereichen Mathematik, Informatik, Naturwissenschaften und Technik (kurz: MINT). Bei Institutsbesichtigungen
und Vorträgen lernen sie Studieninhalte kennen, sie erfahren mehr über die Forschungsarbeit aber auch über
berufliche Perspektiven in den jeweiligen Bereichen. In Workshops werden sie schließlich selbst aktiv, indem sie
bereits gewonnenes Wissen anwenden und Studieninhalte praktisch umsetzen.
Ein weiterer Bestandteil der Probestudienwoche ist die Besichtigung eines ortsansässigen Unternehmens.
Hier sollen die Schülerinnen und Schüler mehr über die praktische Anwendung ingenieur- und
naturwissenschaftlichen Wissens erfahren und die potentielle Arbeitswelt von Absolventen im MINT-Bereich
kennenlernen.
Bei einer Networking-Veranstaltung treten die Teilnehmerinnen und Teilnehmer darüber hinaus mit
internationalen Studierenden der TU Dresden in Kontakt. In diesem Rahmen können sie sich austauschen,
Fragen stellen und Kontakte knüpfen.
Abgerundet wird die Probestudienwoche durch ein kulturelles Rahmenprogramm: Bei einer Stadtführung,
einem Museumsbesuch und einem gemeinsamen Ausflug lernen die Schülerinnen und Schüler den
Studienstandort Dresden in seiner kulturellen Vielfalt kennen.
Kosten:
Die Schülerinnen und Schüler erhalten einen Reisekostenzuschuss je nach Herkunftsland. Übernachtung und
Verpflegung werden gestellt.
Anreise, Unterkunft und Betreuung:
Die Anreise erfolgt individuell. Während der Probestudienwoche werden die Teilnehmerinnen und Teilnehmer in
einer Jugendherberge untergebracht. Sie stehen unter der Aufsicht einer Betreuungsperson. Diese nimmt die
Schüler am Anreisetag in Empfang und kann bei Problemen kontaktiert werden.

Our English Language Programme allows you to improve all areas of English: grammar, vocabulary, speaking, listening, pronunciation, reading
and writing. The programme has been designed for students wishing to start either the postgraduate or undergraduate Hospitality Management
programmes with Glion London in August/September 2014. Subject to availability, we will also be accepting enrolments from students not enrolled
on our undergraduate or postgraduate programs. All programmes aim in increase the IELTS level by 0.5.

John Cabot University's English Language for University Studies (ENLUS) Program
is pleased to announce that it will be offering ENLUS II in Summer 2014 beginning
on Monday, May 19th and ending on Saturday, July 26th.
The program has three goals:
to raise students' English proficiency to university level;
to prepare students for the intellectual demands of university study by using
academically-challenging materials;
to provide a complete English language learning experience.
Classes meet 5 days a week, Monday-Friday, with the following schedule:
10.00-1.00: Grammar/Writing
1.00-2.00: Lunch Break
2.00-4.30: Reading/Listening/Speaking
The Summer ENLUS course is offered in addition to the usual Fall and Spring
sessions.
Tuition for ENLUS II for all semesters is EUR 4,100.

Diamo i numeri:
- 10 tra conferenze, seminari e videoproiezioni
- 12 siti visitabili: esperimenti, officine e stand dimostrativi ad
ingresso libero
- 28 visite guidate in 5 siti sperimentali per l’intera giornata.
- 50 ricercatori ad accogliervi, guidarvi e rispondere alle vostre
domande.
- 50 Studenti in Staff dalle scuole superiori di Roma e
Provincia.
Sono previste conferenze per tutta la giornata su argomenti di fisica moderna e contemporanea. Tra
le conferenze si segnala Due miliardi di gradi in laboratorio: l'Universo primordiale all'LHC, per
cui è previsto un collegamento in diretta con il CERN, e All you need is method! Dall'intuizione
alla formula, conferenza per ragazzi e adulti. Sarà possibile visitare i siti sperimentali, guidati da
personale Ricercatore, Tecnico o Tecnologo INFN che sarà a vostra completa disposizione e
cercherà di rispondere a tutte le domande, anche le più difficili!
Si potranno inoltre visitare liberamente i laboratori, gli stand, le officine e accedere a siti mai aperti
al pubblico. Sono in programma proiezioni di video-documentari, tra i quali: La storia di Ada,
l’Anello di Accumulazione di Bruno Touschek, raccontata dai protagonisti: da Frascati a
Parigi.

I LNF cambiano look!
Per l’Open Day 2014 una nuova segnaletica identificativa dei siti sperimentali è stata realizzata per
guidarvi e informarvi sui tanti esperimenti visitabili per l’occasione.
Training per gli studenti dello Staff Open Day 2014
GREETINGS FROM MOSTAR
Lo scorso febbraio, gli studenti della UWC Mostar hanno
partecipato allo Stage International Masterclass in Modern
Physics 2014 ai LNF. I ragazzi tornati a casa hanno
organizzato Science Fair, un evento che ha riunito varie scuole
di Mostar, istituti limitrofi e della Croazia. Durante la fiera,
incentrata sulla Fisica moderna, gli studenti hanno realizzato
workshop teorici e dimostrativi di elettromagnetismo, ottica,
meccanica e presentazioni su temi quali Dark Matter, Dark
Energy e Astrofisica, basati sull’esperienza dello stage ai LNF.
